You chose this.
You might not feel like you did.
Maybe part of you feels like you didn’t choose your parents.
But your soul did.
Maybe you feel like you didn’t choose these circumstances.
But your soul chose this path for a reason.
When you understand this, you can finally reclaim your power.
We are always either the hero, the victim, or the saboteur.
So do you want to be the hero in your story?
🌎 Earth School & The Gift of Feeling
Life is such an interesting chain of events.
We have the opportunity to experience life as heaven or as torture, as bliss or as hardship.
No matter what we are walking through, feelings are always part of the experience.
And we get to decide how we want to meet those feelings.
Sometimes emotions come up that do not match the reality we want to create.
But even then, we have the opportunity to shift them, move through them, and choose again.
Because we are meant to feel.
That is one of the greatest gifts for soul to experience here on Earth.
Some of you have lived many lifetimes here.
For others, this may only be your first few journeys around this beautiful planet.
But the most important thing is this: we get to be here.
We get to experience Earth school.
And the question becomes, are you permitting yourself to fully be here?
Can you stop fighting the experience long enough to participate in it?
Grief will come.
Pain will come.
Hard moments are part of being human.
And when we grieve, it usually means we loved something deeply.
That love matters.
But alongside the challenges, we are also meant to participate in joy.
We are meant to have fun.
✨ Choosing More Fun in Everyday Life
The world moves fast.
There is so much noise, anxiety, pressure, and overstimulation.
Life can become so consuming that we forget to ask ourselves one very important question:
Am I actually having fun?
Stress can take over so quickly.
And sometimes we become so focused on surviving that we stop creating moments that truly light us up.
It is time to reclaim your power from the stress of the daily grind.
I started doing a simple exercise where I looked at different parts of my life and asked myself if they were fun.
I went through the things I do for work.
Doing readings? So much fun.
Teaching? So much fun.
Giving masterclasses? So much fun.
As I acknowledged those things, I could literally feel my energy rise.
And I realized I had never really stopped long enough to appreciate how much joy some of these experiences bring me in Earth school.
Of course, there are stressful parts too.
And sometimes those stressful pieces become all-consuming.
But this exercise helped me reconnect with what actually fills me up.
Then I reached one part of my business where the answer was clear.
It was not fun.
So I sat with myself and asked, “What would make this more enjoyable?”
The answer that came through from my guides and my inner child surprised me.
It was not the answer my logical mind would have created on its own.
And that reminded me how important it is to ask questions.
Because if we never ask, we never receive the guidance.
We stay stuck in the same patterns, repeating the same emotional loops over and over again.
Shifting out of a victim creator mindset means looking at these patterns with honesty and choosing a new way forward.
🧘♀️ Small Shifts Create Big Changes
Start looking at your day differently.
Is your morning routine fun?
If not, what would make it feel better?
For me, waking up slowly, meditating, sitting with my crystals, and spending time at my altar feels nourishing.
But when I rush into the day without those moments, I feel disconnected.
So I have to intentionally create space for what supports me.
What about your lunch routine?
What about the way you care for your body emotionally, mentally, physically, or spiritually?
What tiny shift could make those moments feel lighter or more joyful?
The answer does not have to be something huge.
It does not have to mean disappearing on vacation for a month.
Maybe it is simply finding a 1% shift that makes your day feel more alive.
Earth school can be hard.
But there is something powerful about shifting from “I have to do this” into “I get to do this.”
I get to grow.
I get to experience life.
I get to have fun while I learn.
When you make that shift, you reclaim your power over your perspective.
Yes, there will still be challenges.
But those challenges can also become the very things that shape us into stronger, wiser versions of ourselves.
🦋 Becoming the Hero of Your Story
You chose this journey.
Even if part of you struggles to believe that.
You may not understand why your soul chose certain experiences, relationships, or challenges.
But every person still has free will.
And part of this journey in Earth school is learning the art of allowing.
Allowing others to walk their own path.
Allowing yourself to walk yours.
Because when we stop trying to control everything, something beautiful begins to unfold.
You are the creator of your life.
You are the main character in your story.
And you get to decide how you show up each day.
So if something does not feel good, ask yourself what would make today feel better.
Maybe it is something simple.
A cup of tea.
Coloring with your child.
Going outside.
Listening to music.
Tiny moments can completely shift stagnant energy.
One small change in perception can begin changing your entire life.
We are always playing one of three roles: the hero, the victim, or the saboteur.
So who do you want to be in your story?
Do you want to rise above the self sabotage patterns that have held you back?
Because you absolutely can.
And support matters along the way.
Support can look like friends, family, journaling, healers, spiritual practices, or trusted mentors.
Those support systems help carry us through both the difficult chapters and the beautiful ones.
Because sometimes we become so used to struggling that we sabotage happiness when it finally arrives.
But you do not have to do that anymore.
You get to choose differently.
You get to choose joy.
You get to choose fun.
You get to choose yourself.
So ask yourself today:
How am I going to create more fun in my life?
With love and blessings,

You chose this. You might not feel like it. You might go, Amy, I didn’t choose my parents. Yes, you did. I didn’t choose this circumstance.
Yes, you did. We are always either the hero, the victim, or the saboteur. Do you want to be the hero in your story?
Life is an interesting chain of events. We have the opportunity to experience events as hell or as bliss, as heaven or torture. No matter what we are experiencing, there are feelings involved with the experience, and it’s up to us to decide to choose those feelings, to feel those feelings And if the feeling comes up that does not match the choice we want to make about the feeling, we have the opportunity to change it. And what I mean by that is we are meant to feel. This is one of the most amazing opportunities our soul gets to have.
And some of you have had many opportunities here as a human. Some, this may be your first, second, third journey around this beautiful solar planet that we get to experience. And the main thing that I think is really important is we get to get to do this. We get to experience this. And are you giving yourself full permission to be in this Earth’s atmosphere?
Do you get to be in this Earth’s school and not fight against the school, but to actually participate in the school? I was doing a really fun exercise the other day, and I think having fun is really awesome. I think grief is going to show up on your door depending on the situation, the experiences. And if we’re grieving, that means we’ve loved something so much and that’s going to happen. That’s a part of the human experience.
And what we get to do and what we get to choose to do is to participate in activities, participate in experiences that are fun. I think when we take a mental note, because there’s so much noise and so much anxiety and the Earth is just moving faster and faster and the pace of life is moving faster and faster and faster, when we actually take the opportunity and like take a step back and go, am I actually having fun? Because I think that sometimes life can be really stressful depending on what area you are having stress in or what areas you are having stress in. It can be all-consuming, and I think it’s important to actually take a step back and go, what am I doing that’s actually fun? Take inventory of the things that you’re naturally always doing.
And one of the things that I was like going through was the things I do for work. And note, I love what I do. Like, it is something so much fun. I’m living one of my dreams. And it’s a lot of fun.
I was doing this exercise of just some of the activities I do at work, and it was like doing readings, so much fun. Giving masterclasses, so much fun. Teaching, so much fun. And I could feel myself just elevating with excitement, just acknowledging some of these activities, ’cause I don’t think I’ve ever just sat down and said, this is fun. There’s things in my business that are really stressful, and sometimes those can be consuming.
And so doing this little exercise was super, super helpful. And then I got to one thing that I do in my business where that answer was not true. It was not fun. And so then I sat with myself and asked myself, what would make this more fun? And my guides and my internal inner child had a different answer than I would have come up for myself if I wouldn’t have asked the question, wouldn’t have asked for divine support on it.
I think that if we don’t ask the questions, we can’t get support, and I don’t think if we don’t ask the questions, we can’t get the answer for ourselves either. Because this is where we get stuck in the same cycle of repeating the same day, Groundhog’s Day, over and over and over and over again. And when you take the opportunity to just evaluate one of your days— is it fun when you get up in the morning and take care of your body? No? Okay, well then what would make that routine more fun?
For me, waking up and meditating is fun. That is something I enjoy. That is something I love playing with my crystals and being in front of my altar. But when I don’t get that opportunity and I rush into the day, that is not fun for me. So I gotta carve out that space in my day.
What about your lunch routine? Do you have fun at your lunch routine? What would make it more fun? What about taking care of your body physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually? What would make any of those areas more fun.
The answer doesn’t have to be go on vacation for a month at a time, because that might not be feasible. But what is 1% that you can make that feasible for yourself so you can experience that fun? Earth school is hard, but the opportunity to shift it from hard and into I get to do this and I get to have fun and I get to grow. And yes, there will be challenges, but those challenges will ultimately allow me to lead a better life. It’s a different approach than dreading the day that you are in.
You chose this. You might not feel like it. You might go, Amy, I didn’t choose my parents. Yes, you did. I didn’t choose this circumstance.
Yes, you did. There are different things that you might not understand on why your soul might have chose that path or why people in your life might have chose different paths than you would have chose from them. And that has you worried, stressed, grieving. You can fill in the blank. But ultimately, we always have to practice free will.
We always have to practice the art of allowing, because when we allow other people to be on their path and we allow ourselves to be on our path, there’s something really beautiful that happens and what unfolds. Because you are the master of your universe, you are the main character in your life, and you get to decide what that looks like and how it looks at any given moment, at any given time throughout your day. And so if you are not making it a great day, what would make it a great day? What one little thing that you can do that would make it a great day. Sometimes for me it’s just go and have some tea.
Like, I love having tea, or going and coloring with my daughter. Like, there are so many different things that you can do that allows you to break up the monotony, to break up the stagnant energy in your life. Because when you make one choice to change something in your reality for the day, even if it’s the perception of how you are showing up, you will ultimately change your life, and you will ultimately be the main character in your life. Because if you don’t like that, you have the opportunity to change it. We are always either the hero, the victim, or the saboteur.
Do you want to be the hero in your story? Do you want to take victory over the things that have plagued you in your life? Because I know I do, and I know that when I’m in a cycle where I’m not comfortable, where I’m not happy there’s a reason for that, and it’s up to me to figure that out. And I have my guides, I have my team, I have my family, I have my support systems. And support systems can be journaling, support systems can be working with different modalities, having different friends or different practitioners that you work with.
Support systems help us navigate those sticky chapters, help us navigate even the good chapters, because sometimes we’re so used to having the bad chapters that when we’re in the good chapter, we sabotage it. And that’s no fun. You get to be the hero. You get to live your life the way you want to. And if it doesn’t feel good, can you give yourself permission to step up to the plate and do something different?
Have more fun. Let me know, are you wanting to have more fun? And in what ways are you going to choose fun today? Let me know in the comment section. If you don’t know this, we do this on YouTube every single week.
