In this episode, I share how the invisible persecution or “witch’s wound” can block you from using your voice and stepping into your power. I explore how this fear shows up as inaction, self-protection, and even physical patterns that keep you stuck and disconnected. I invite you to move through the discomfort, reclaim your voice, and remember that you already hold the keys to your freedom.

🩹 The Invisible Wound That Holds You Back
The wounds we carry can feel invisible, yet they are powerful forces that prevent us from doing the very things we desire.
The witch wound, also known as the persecution wound, creates an energetic barrier that stops you from fully stepping forward.
It keeps you trapped in a fear of being seen.
It keeps you from owning your power.
It keeps you from authentically using your voice in a way that allows you to be fully you.
This is something we explored deeply during one of our intimate retreats.
This year’s theme was *Rise*, and we focused specifically on clearing the persecution witch’s wound.
Today, I want to share a few key “aha” moments from what we witnessed during that retreat.
And I invite you to feel into whether this imprint may be living within you.
This witch wound can be carried through your ancestry.
It can also come from past lifetimes where you were persecuted.
And now, there may be a fear of using your voice or stepping into your gifts.
😶 When Fear Silences Your Voice
One of the biggest patterns I witnessed is how this wound dampens the voice.
There is a deep, often subconscious fear that if you speak up, you will be harmed.
Because of this, expression becomes restricted.
Authenticity becomes muted.
And your truth stays locked inside.
This wound also shows up as inaction.
You may feel excited about moving forward, yet you just can’t get started.
You stay in procrastination.
You stay in stall mode.
You want momentum, but something holds you back.
I see this often—people ready to go, but unable to take that first step.
This becomes a battle between the emotional body, the mental body, and the ego.
There’s a belief that it’s not safe.
That it’s not worth it.
That it’s too hard.
That you’re unworthy.
But even 1% movement creates momentum.
And if you feel stuck, like you’re glued to the bed or the sofa, unable to act, that’s a signal.
There may be an imprint of the witch wound here that can be cleared.
I’ve seen it show up in two extremes.
Either someone is constantly busy, distracting themselves with endless activity.
Or they can’t find the energy or courage to begin at all.
Both are forms of avoidance.
🛡️ The Body’s Protection That Isn’t Protection
Another powerful insight is how the body responds to this wound.
The body can shut down as a form of protection.
This can show up as an injury.
Autoimmune conditions.
Sleep disturbances.
Or unexplained physical issues.
The body is trying to keep you safe.
But sometimes, that “protection” becomes a limitation.
It can even manifest through weight gain to weigh you down.
Or the opposite—lack of appetite and low energy.
Different expressions, same root.
A disconnection from power.
This Witch wound can take over completely.
It feels like safety, but it’s actually self-protection that limits your life.
You may be protecting yourself from being seen.
From being hurt.
From being judged or persecuted.
But in doing so, you’re holding yourself back.
And that becomes a form of self-harm.
Because when you don’t step into your power, you deny your evolution.
You deny your purpose.
You deny your authentic self.
The truth is, the only way through this is to move through it.
To face the discomfort.
To look at the patterns that once kept you safe but no longer serve you.
There is a part of your soul that is ready to break free.
A part that says, “I don’t want to live in this box anymore.”
Historically, during the witch trials, many accusations were rooted in control and power.
Women who stepped into their strength were often targeted.
And this created a deep imprint of fear—fear of being seen, and fear of losing everything.
That fear can still live within the body today.
✨ Reclaiming Your Voice, Power, and Freedom
My biggest takeaway is this: your voice is meant to be heard.
Your body is meant to be expressed through.
And your presence is meant to take up space.
You are beautiful.
You are powerful.
And the more you recognize your uniqueness, the more you step into your truth.
As you clear the fear of being seen, you finally take up space in your body.
Because if you don’t, something else will try to.
Reclaiming your voice is an energetic shift that allows you to be heard without apology.
Ground yourself.
Clear your energy.
Check in with yourself daily.
You are meant to have sovereignty over your body, mind, and soul.
You chose your lineage for a reason.
Even if there is pain, trauma, or ancestral baggage, you have the power to say, “I am no longer participating in this.”
You are here to help clear it.
Not just for yourself, but for your lineage as well.
Growth isn’t always comfortable.
Sometimes things feel worse before they get better.
But on the other side is freedom.
I’ve witnessed incredible transformations over the years.
People who were once afraid to speak are now using their voice.
People who were stuck are now taking action.
Even while feeling fear.
And that’s the key—doing it anyway.
Permitting yourself to follow the pull, even when it feels uncomfortable.
Because within that discomfort is your breakthrough.
It’s been an honor to witness these shifts and guide this deep ancestral trauma healing.
To hold space for people as they rediscover who they truly are.
And to see them permit themselves to heal.
So here’s what I want to leave you with:
You are courageous.
You are brave.
Can you step into that energy?
Can you permit yourself to make the uncomfortable changes?
To face the hard truths?
To have the conversations that set you free?
Because your voice, your power, and your authentic expression are the keys.
And your heart will guide you to the people, places, and opportunities that help you unlock those chains.
You hold the keys.
It’s time to use them.
And if you’re on this journey of clearing the persecution wound, I see you.
I encourage you to keep going.
You are powerful.
And you are ready.
With love and blessings,

The wounds we carry can feel invisible, but yet a powerful force that prevents us, you, from doing the very thing that you’re desiring to do. The Witch’s Wound, the Persecution Wound, has this invisible force field that prevents you from stepping forward to fully be seen. From stepping forward to fully being in your power. From stepping forward and fully using your voice in a way that allows you to be authentically you.
The witch’s wound is something that we looked at, we cleared during one of our intimate retreats. And this year’s theme for the intimate retreat was Rise, and the wound that we were looking at was specifically the persecution witch’s wound. And so today I wanted to give you a brief aha list from the things that I witnessed and saw during the retreat, things that I personally witnessed and saw. And I’m hoping today you’ll get some inkling or an invitation to see if this imprint is on your DNA. You may be carrying it from your ancestors, or you may be carrying it from lifetimes where you were persecuted, and now you’re scared to use your voice.
You’re scared to use your gifts. One of the things at the intimate retreat that really stood out to me is that the voice is dampened when this wound is present, meaning There are things that people do that prevent them from fully using their voice in an authentic way for expression because this fear is so strong that they fear if they speak up— and this can be very, very subconscious— they fear if they speak up, they will be harmed in some way. This fear can also show up by preventing you from taking action, so you stay in this stall mode because if you actually got the momentum to move forward, you could be harmed in some way. And so I see this often in my clients when they’re like very, very excited to do things, but they just won’t get off go. They’re wanting to move forward, they’re wanting to get the motion going, but they just can’t get off go.
And this is often a battle with the ego and a battle with the emotional body because they feel that— and they, I mean the emotional body and the ego and the mental body too— these aspects of your core being feel that they will be harmed, or it’s not worth trying, or what’s the point of putting in the effort, or it’s too hard, it feels too far away. You feel unworthy. And so if you are in motion, even if it’s 1%, you’re gonna get more of the benefit and get closer to the goal by getting in motion. But if you don’t even have the words to articulate what’s going on inside your body, or you feel like you’re just like glued to the bed, glued to the sofa, meaning like can’t like even muster up the courage or muster up the energy to get going. There’s this imprint where it could be preventing you from actually taking the action that we can clear from the DNA.
And I have found that it’s like either someone’s doing too much where they’re going, going, going, going, going, and they’re distracting themselves by doing too many things, but they’re not doing the things that are actually going to move the needle, or they can’t even muster up the energy or muster up the courage to get going. And then on another side of this wound. What I saw at the retreat is that the body will shut down to protect. The body will shut down to protect. And this can be injury, this can be autoimmune, this could be sleep disorder, this could be some sort of weird ailment or throwing out your back.
These protection mechanisms go, if I protect myself— and protection can also be a form of putting on weight to weigh you down, or starving yourself. I know this sounds kind of crazy that someone can put on weight and the opposite person could be not hungry at all. And this prevents someone from really accessing their power. And so this persecution wound just like takes over. It really, really takes over.
It feels like protection, but it’s not protection, because you might be protecting yourself from being seen, you might be protecting yourself from being hurt, you might be protecting yourself from persecuted, but you’re really self-harming. Because if you’re not stepping in your power, if you’re not discovering who you are and discovering why you’re here and discovering how you want to evolve and giving yourself permission to evolve, you’re harming yourself. And self-harm causes more harm than someone else’s words. Because let’s say someone did harm you in the past. If you continue to harm yourself and not take action, not move towards your dreams, not work through the uncomfortableness— because the only way through is through— break Breaking through that persecution is to look at some really gnarly energy, to look at some really inappropriate behaviors that you have, or inappropriate patterns.
And yes, those patterns might have gotten you to this point, and yes, those patterns might have made you safe at one point in time and have kept you feeling safe at one point in time, but there’s this percolation of the soul that’s coming through that says, I don’t want to live in this box anymore. I don’t want to have this fear of being persecuted. I don’t want to have this fear of speaking out. I don’t want to have this fear of being seen. Or because during the witch trials, it was money grab for land because women didn’t have the rights to have certain ownership.
And so if a woman became empowered in the community, people started accusing them of being witches. That way they could take their land. And so with that being said, there can also be this fear of everything being taken away that’s connected back into the witch’s wound as well. My The biggest takeaways from this intimate retreat is that we have voices, they’re meant to be heard. We have our body, our physical appearance, and I don’t care if you love your physical appearance or not, you are absolutely gorgeous, you are absolutely beautiful.
And the more you start to recognize your beauty, the more you start to recognize your unique gift, your unique voice, your unique way that you perceive the world, the more you’re going to step into your power and the more you’re going to show up because you are here to show up in this body and your body your body is strong, your body is beautiful, and your body is here to allow you to have a container to be embodied. And so take up the space in the body, because if you’re not taking up the space in your body, something else will come in. Some other being will come in and take up space in your body. And it’s important that you’re clearing, it’s important that you’re grounding, it’s important that you’re checking in, it’s important that you are having autonomy over your body, mind, and soul. And if your ancestors or your previous selves are taking up the space because they’re so fearful that you will be persecuted or you will be harmed in any way, you’re not truly living your authentic expression.
And so you’re here to clear these wounds. You picked your ancestral lineage for a reason. So even if you weren’t persecuted, but you had family members or you had weird things happen to your lineage, you have the right to say, I’m not participating in that, and I’m going to help you free yourself from these wounds. Because oftentimes souls come in to pick a lineage that has baggage so that they can also feel the liberty and feel the evolution and experience the evolution on a soul level. Because they understand that not only are they helping themselves as a soul, but they’re also helping the lineage, which they may have many connections to, to the souls, the ancestors in that lineage as well.
And so it’s up to you on what that may look like. Sometimes Sometimes things get worse before they get better. And so when we’re working through these wounds and we’re working through like the stickiness and the ickiness, it can feel so uncomfortable that you want to crawl out of your skin. But what’s on the other side is freedom and a chance to really live your authentic expression. And another aha for me is that the more work I have done, the more I have been able to step in my own authentic expression in a new way.
And I have done many retreats. I’ve been hosting retreats since 2017, and it’s so beautiful to watch people’s progress. People that were scared to use their voice are using their voice. People that were scared to take action or move forward, they’re taking action. They’re moving forward even if they’re scared.
The way that you show up gives yourself an opportunity. You are gifting yourself the opportunity to really discover who you are and what you’re meant to be doing. And so even if you’re scared, do it anyways. Even if you are downright not feeling comfortable in looking at something but you’re being pulled towards it, give yourself permission to say yes towards that pull, because within the pull is the opportunity to work through the uncomfortableness. And for me, I have had the blessing, I’ve had the honor to hold space in a way that allowed someone to discover who they are and give themselves permission to heal themselves.
It’s so magnificent. It really, really is magnificent. And I’m just so grateful to have been able to witness people change right before my eyes and to have the courage to actually step up and say, I’m going to change. It’s okay for me to change. The message that I want to leave you with today is you are courageous and you are brave.
Can you step into that energy? And can you give yourself permission to make the uncomfortable changes and to look at the uncomfortable things and to have conversations about the uncomfortable things so that you can actually voice your sovereignty. You can actually experience freedom. You can unshackle yourself from the past because you hold the keys to the shackles. And your voice, your power, your authentic expression is the thing that sets you free.
And your heart will lead you to the places, the community, the conversations, those opportunities for you to use the keys to unlock yourself from the shackles of the past. Thank you so much for joining me today. Please share this with a friend. If you are clearing the persecution wound, I encourage you to clear it. I encourage you to step forward.
