Do you ever feel disenchanted?
Like you’re just going through the motions, wondering, do I really have to do this?
Maybe you’re simply bored.
I often ask myself that question when something feels off: Am I just bored?
And more often than not, the answer is yes.
So, what do you do when life feels dull or uninspiring? What’s the secret of how to beat boredom?
Usually, it’s a call for creativity.
Not to create a masterpiece but simply to create.
It could be as simple as taking a walk by the river, planting a garden, or calling a friend for a fun outing.
🏅 Honoring Your Creative Expression
Creativity is at the core of who we are.
We are here to create.
We are here to co-create.
Your authentic expression is to create.
So, what are you here to create?
This week, I invite you to ask yourself: What do I want to create?
How do I want to express my creativity?
Is there something your soul has been nudging you to bring to life—something you’ve been ignoring?
Because if there is, that knock isn’t going to stop until you answer it.
And if you wait too long?
That moment of inspiration might pass.
I’ve been there—I’ve told myself, I’ll do it later, I’ll do it later… until later finally comes, and the excitement is gone.
The alignment is gone.
That creative energy has moved on.
Spirit wants to support us in our creations.
It flows through us, guiding us toward expression.
When we create, we tap into something greater—a divine connection with Source, God, the Universe.
We’re not just creating; we’re co-creating.
When that flow is gone, it becomes choppy and hard to tap into.
That’s why I want to emphasize this—if there’s something you’ve been sitting on for a while, take a moment to check: Is this still in alignment with me?
Because sometimes, it’s not.
I’ve experienced this with different projects and offerings.
I thought I wanted to do them, but I kept dragging my feet.
Then, when I finally started, the energy just wasn’t there.
The spirit that was once supporting me—the force of Source, God, the Universe—had moved on.
That doorway had closed.
The same can happen to you when you wait too long.
🫧 Creativity in Everyday Life
Some creations are deeply woven into our soul’s purpose, and their energy will always be available.
But others have their own divine timing—if we don’t act, the moment passes.
So the question remains: What are you here to create?
And I want to give you something simple—something so simple—because creativity doesn’t have to be complicated.
One of my favorite things to make is cacao.
I love making cacao, especially when I feel inspired to do so.
In fact, as soon as I finish recording this episode, I’m going to make some—because the thought of it just came to me, and now I want it.
There’s something special about creating the perfect cup.
From choosing the base to adding cacao, cinnamon, cardamom, salt, and honey—it all comes together in the most scrumptious, delicious way.
But it’s more than just a drink; it’s a masterpiece, a creative expression of my soul.
It’s also a sacred connection—a relationship with Mother Cacao that I deeply cherish.
And that’s the thing—creativity can be this simple. And knowing how to beat boredom starts with acknowledging that simplicity.
It can be making a cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.
Whatever it is, we are always co-creating.
Right now, I’m preparing for spring, getting ready to repot and replant.
I love my plants.
I’m a full-on crazy plant lady, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have over 60 plants!
Part of my creative process is repotting, propagating, rearranging, and sometimes even giving them away.
They grow like crazy, so I love sharing them—whether it’s gifting a full plant or just a small trimming.
It’s one of my favorite things to do.
And that’s the beauty of life—we get to create in ways that bring peace, joy, and happiness, not just to ourselves but to others, too.
But creativity isn’t always about butterflies and rainbows.
Sometimes, we feel called to create things that others might not see as beautiful (and I say that in quotes), but we love them, and they bring us joy.
That’s what truly matters. That’s how to beat boredom in a way that feels aligned in a way that feels aligned and fulfilling.
⚡ Tapping Into Flow and Energy
Lately, I’ve been on a crystal-buying spree as we stock up on new inventory.
I can’t wait to share more about what’s coming!
I love seeing the intricate carvings, imagining the artist sitting down, deciding what to create, and bringing it to life with such precision and artistry.
It’s incredible to witness that kind of creativity in action.
Mother Earth created the crystal, and then someone came along to polish and carve it.
It’s such a beautiful collaboration—humans working in harmony with nature.
Creative expression allows us to release melancholy and step into flow.
And flow isn’t just a fleeting feeling—it’s our birthright.
It’s our energetic connection to the Earth, to spirit, to something greater than ourselves.
When we’re in the flow, things align effortlessly.
Doors open, synchronicities happen, and clarity comes.
We say yes to what resonates and no to what doesn’t.
It’s a powerful thing to witness—both in ourselves and in others.
Because when you’re in flow, you’re giving yourself permission to co-create with the universe.
You’re saying yes to what’s truly meant for you.
You’re saying no to what isn’t.
And even if you make a so-called “mistake” (though there really are no mistakes), the universe will always course-correct.
If you say yes to something you were meant to say no to, you’ll learn the lesson quickly, realign, and step back into the flow.
Flow and creativity go hand in hand.
Being in flow means aligning with your heart’s desires and acting on them in a way that honors your energy in the present moment.
Creative expression becomes a sacred act when we fully embrace this alignment. That’s another powerful way of how to beat boredom.
🔋 Energy Expenditure and Creativity
Let’s talk about energy expenditure.
Creativity doesn’t mean working 24/7 like a mad scientist.
That’s not creativity—that’s burnout.
True creativity is about allowing inspiration to flow to you, through you, and with you.
It’s about riding the wave, not forcing it.
Lately, I’ve been in this process myself.
I’m revamping a lot of things, including one of my signature courses, Sacred Awakening, my Akashic Records course.
I’ve been receiving downloads—it’s going to change, it’s going to evolve—but I can’t force creativity.
I’ve tried sitting down more than a few times, and honestly?
It felt hard.
It felt stuck.
I couldn’t see the new vision because I was still holding on to the old.
And that’s the challenge—letting go.
This course is my baby, and releasing parts of it hasn’t been easy.
I’ve been nurturing and growing this course for so long, and now, it’s time for a change.
Last week, I had this clear message: Now is the time to sit down and create.
I could feel the energy flowing through me, urging me to reimagine it in a new way, and I was ready to dive in.
It wasn’t planned—I hadn’t scheduled this moment.
But as soon as I felt the pull, I knew I had to act right then.
Not tomorrow, not next week—right now.
I carved out space in my day and went for it.
In just 90 minutes, I redesigned the entire course.
And let me tell you, I’ve been teaching Sacred Awakening since 2017, so when I say this course is my baby, I truly mean it.
But I’m so excited for the new version—because it’s changing, and it’s changing in big ways.
The course is changing a lot, and I’m thrilled about it.
But that’s the magic of flow—it starts with a small spark, a little nugget of inspiration, like a raindrop.
I felt it, and I could sense how I could reimagine things, how I could create something new.
That one little idea turned into another, and soon, it became a full wave.
Once that wave hit, I knew I had to jump on because if I didn’t, it would pass me by.
I used to think creativity was only for people who were artsy or crafty because that’s how others described it.
But that’s just not me—I’m not artsy at all.
Yet, I love creating things.
Once I realized that creativity doesn’t have to be about art or craft, I understood that everyone is creative in their own way.
Each person has something uniquely their own to create—something only they can bring into the world.
And that’s what makes it so magnificent.
Now, don’t get me wrong—I’m not dismissing art at all.
I think art is amazing.
It’s also about what speaks to the individual and what they feel called to create.
Art is in the eye of the beholder, and it’s about what resonates with you.
So, go create something today.
Anything. And take a moment to acknowledge that you created it.
It could be the outfit you put together, the way you decorate your home, or how you show up in a meeting or conversation.
Those are all forms of creative expression.
Even how we hold space in our relationships can be a creative expression of love and care. And that’s one of the lesser-known tips on how to beat boredom – finding creativity in connection.
🫂 Embracing Imperfection and Taking Action
I remember in high school, we had an English class assignment where we had to read aloud.
One of my classmates, who was super into acting, completely surprised us by reading with an accent and fully embodying the character.
To this day, I remember that moment.
He didn’t have to do that—it was an English class, not a theater class—but he created something for everyone to enjoy.
And it wasn’t just for us; it was for him too.
He tapped into his love of acting and his imagination.
It was a beautiful example of how creativity doesn’t always have to be grand—it’s about expressing what’s alive in you and sharing it with the world.
I think that’s so beautiful—creativity is everywhere.
Actors create all the time.
Chefs create.
Artists create.
And when I say artists, I mean it in the broadest sense—there are so many forms of art, and each one is beautiful to witness.
If you look at social media, you’ll see content creators who are constantly making entertaining, binge-worthy content.
There are so many ways to express yourself creatively and so many things you can create.
So, what is your soul asking you to create?
Can you start small if you’re afraid of actually bringing it to life?
If you are afraid, ask yourself: Why?
What’s the fear about?
What could happen if you create it, and what might happen if you don’t?
How would you feel if you didn’t accomplish that creation?
And can you give yourself permission to not be perfect?
It doesn’t need to be perfect.
We are perfectly imperfect, and that’s what makes us human.
Remember, done is better than not done.
Taking action and being in the flow of creativity is better than letting the idea sit forever without moving forward.
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Just start.
Give yourself the momentum to ride the wave of creativity.
Let the energy build, and before you know it, creation will come.
That’s when the creator energy shows up—whether you give it a sacred title or not, it’s that frequency that says, You’re ready?
Let’s go.
And you’re going to ride that wave, my dear.
You’ll ride it and own it because you are meant to create.
Creative expression is your soul’s birthright.
If you’re feeling bored, if you’re feeling down, that’s your soul calling you to create something. That’s how to beat boredom and return to joy.
Let your creative expression guide you back to joy.
So, go create it.
Explore how to beat boredom with small steps and deep presence. Recognize that boredom and creativity can be a powerful combination that awakens the soul.
I promise you, you’ll thank yourself later for taking that step.
With love and blessings,

Hey, Amy Robeson here. Thank you for joining me on this podcast where we talk about spirituality, the awakening process, mental health, and so much more. Join me weekly to get your weekly dose of spirituality and medicine. I look forward to seeing you on the inside. Hello. Welcome to today’s episode. I’m so excited you are here. Do you ever feel disenchanted? Or maybe you’re just like, Do I have to do this? Or maybe you feel bored. Bored is a good word. I’ll often, if there’s something going on in my life, I’ll ask myself if I’m bored, because oftentimes it’s that. I’m bored. And so what do you do when you are or disenchanted or just not loving your life. Usually this is a cry for creativity. This is a cry to go create something, and it doesn’t mean go create a masterpiece. It means be creative. It could be taking a walk down by the river, or it could be going to plant a garden. It could be calling a friend and going to do something fun together. It Creation is our very essence. We are here to create. We are here to co-create as well.
And so your authentic expression is to create. And so what are you here to create? In this particular week, I want to ask you, what is it that you want to create? How do you want to be creative? And is your soul asking you to create something that you’ve been ignoring? Because if it has. That knock is not going to stop knocking until you start using your creative expression to bring it into fruition, to birth it into life. Or you’re going to wait too long, and this happens. I’ve had this happen to me many times where I’m like, I’ll do it later, I’ll do it later, I’ll do it later. And then finally I’m like, Okay, I finally have time to do it. And then I’m not at all excited to do it. I’m not at all in alignment to do it anymore because that ship has sailed. That energy of force that wants to support us in creating that because spirit comes in and wants to support us in our creations. And it us to create this flow because when we’re creating, there’s this beautiful connection to source God, creation, universe that comes into us, that works through us, and we’re co-creating with the universe.
And that flow is not there. It’s choppy, it’s hard to tap into. And so the thing that I want to emphasize, no matter what, is if there is something that you’re wanting to do and you’ve been sitting on it for quite some time, check to find out if it’s in alignment with you anymore, because it might not be. I’ve done this with different offerings, different projects of mine where I think I want to do it, and then I drag my feet, and then I go in, I finally do it, and it’s just it’s not there. There’s nothing to tap into because the spirit of what was going to support me and to support me in creating it, source God universe, it’s not there. It’s gone. I don’t have access to that doorway anymore, and neither will you. When we wait too long on something… Now, some projects can wait forever. Some projects, we are always in alignment. It’s part of our soul’s purpose. It’s part of our soul’s mission. And And that creative force will be with you. And then there’s times where it’s not. And so the question is always going to be is, what are you here to create?
And I’m going to give you something simple, like something something so simple because it can be nothing that’s too crazy to do. One of my favorite things to make is cacao. I love making cacao, especially when I’m inspired to go and make some, which I’m going to make some after I’m done recording this episode because that’s how much it just came to me. I’m like, I want that. But there’s everything about creating the perfect cup of cacao and what I use as the base, the actual cacao itself, the cinnamon, the cardamom, the salt, the honey. I use it all, and it’s so scrumptuous and delicious. And it is a masterpiece. It is a creative piece of my soul that goes into it. And it’s a beautiful relationship I have with Mother Cacao as well. And so I love it. But it can be as simple as that, as simple as making a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, whatever it is. We have the ability to co-create. I’m getting ready. It’s spring. I’m getting ready in spring. I’m getting ready to repot and replant all I love my plants in my house, and I’m a crazy plant lady.
I have over 60 plants. And so part of my creative juices is repanting them, propagating them, getting them into things, moving them into different spaces or bringing them to someone else’s home because I have so many, and they grow ridiculous. And so I love giving away plants as well when they get too big and trimmings. It’s my favorite things to do. And that’s the cool thing about life is we get to create little things that bring peace and joy and happiness to other people. And creation doesn’t have to also be all butterflies and rainbows. You might have the urge to create something that other people might not find as beautiful, and I’m putting that in quotations, but you love it, and it brings you great joy. I’ve been recently on a crystal buying spree because we’re buying new inventory, which I can’t wait to share more about what’s going to happen with this crystal stuff that we’re doing. But It’s like I love seeing different carvings of how someone created that and just even their thought process of they sat down, they decided to carve this, and it’s so intricate, and it’s so beautiful, and they created it.
Mother Earth created the crystal, and then someone went and polished it and carved it. And it’s like such a beautiful thing because we’re working together with Mother Earth. Creative expression allows us to let go of that melancholy. It allows us to tap into flow. And flow is a part of our birthright. It’s a part of our energetic connection with the Earth. It’s our energetic connection with spirit. And when we’re in flow, things start happening really simultaneously. Things start to flow, doors start opening, yeses are had, nos are had, because we’re saying no to things that aren’t in alignment. It’s such a beautiful thing to, one, experience, another, to witness, because when you’re in flow, you’re giving yourself permission to co-create with the universe. You’re giving yourself permission to say yes to all the things you’re meant to say yes to, to all the things you’re meant to say no to. And if you do make a mistake, which there are no mistakes, but let’s say you do say yes to something you’re meant to say no to, it will course-create. When you are meant to be saying no to that, and you’ll learn your lesson really quickly, and you’ll get back into flow.
Part of flow is being creative. Part of flow is being one with your heart’s desires and acting upon them in the way you’re meant to act upon them and understanding the energy expenditure that’s available to you at that moment in time. Let’s talk about energy expenditure. Creativity does not mean you are working 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and you are a mad person. That’s not creativity. Creativity is allowing the inspiration to flow to you, through you, be with you, and riding it like a freaking wave. And the other day, because I’m getting ready to revamp a lot of things. I am changing one of my signature courses, Sacred Awakening, my Kasha Cracker course. And I have been getting downloads. It’s going to change, it’s going to change, it’s going to change, and I don’t force creativity. I can’t force it. And I’ve tried to sit down several other times, more than several times, I’ll be honest, more than several times. And it felt so challenging. It felt so hard, and I just couldn’t see what was available to me. And I wasn’t willing to let go of the old, to let go of my baby because this is my baby.
I’ve been birthing this and feeding it for so long, and it’s time for change. And one of the things that I got last week was Oh, I need to sit down now. I need to sit down now because this is coming in so clear, and it’s time to create it in a new way. It’s time to re-imagine it in a new way, and I’m ready to create. I’m ready to it. I could just feel this flow of energy that wanted to come through me. I did not literally have this planned out in my day. I just was like, Okay, I get it. I’m seeing it. I’m seeing it. I’m seeing it. Okay, I’m going to make this space right now, not tomorrow, not the next day, not next week, not two weeks from now, I’m going to sit down and do it. And it took me 90 minutes to redesign the entire course, which I have been teaching Sacred Awakening since 2017. It is my baby when I say that, and I’m so excited to do this new version of it. I’m so thrilled to do the new version of it because it’s changing, and it’s changing a lot.
It is changing a lot, and I’m so excited. But that was the the flow. That was that wave that was like, okay, I got a little nugget. A little raindrop came in, and I was like, okay, I can get with that. I can feel that. I can see how I can re-imagine this. I can see how I can create this differently. And I could see where my creative juices were going. And then that little nugget turned into another little nugget to them where here comes the wave. You better jump on because it’s going to pass you by if you don’t jump on. And so that’s the thing. I know for me, I always heard like, Oh, you’re so creative. So I always thought when I heard that from other people that they meant they were artistic and they were arts and crafty, and that’s just not me. I’m not artsy at all, but I love creating things. And once I wrapped my head around that, there’s a different way to create, and everybody’s creative. Everybody is so uniquely be them and they have the ability to create something that only they can create, I think it’s so magnificent, and it doesn’t have to be art.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not pooh-poohing on art. I think art is amazing as well. And art is also in the eye of the beholder of what they think is need and what they’re wanting to create. And so go create something. Go create anything today and acknowledge that you created it. Your outfit can be created. The way you style, the way that you do your house, the way that you show up in a meeting or you show up in a conversation can be creative. I remember back in high We had this… One of my classmates, we had this one of my classmates. We had to read out loud in English one day, and he just bust out an accent and started to be the actual character. And to this day, I will still remember that because one, no one’s ever done that. And two, he was super into acting. It was an English class. He didn’t have to do that, but he got to create something for everybody in class to enjoy. But his soul enjoyed it so much because he was tapping into his love of a character, his love of acting, his love of imagining what that character would be if it came to life.
And I think that’s so beautiful. Actors create things all the time. Chefs create things all the time. Artists create things all the time. And an artist is a blanket statement. There’s so many different forms of art, and it is such a beautiful thing to witness. I mean, if we look at social media, you have content creators. They’re creating content that’s super entertainment or super like, I want to binge this because it’s so cool. And so there are so many things for you to create. And so what is your soul asking you to create? And can you start with something small if you’re in fear of actually creating it? And if you are in fear, why are you in fear of creating it? What could possibly happen if you created it? And what could possibly happen if you don’t create it? How would you feel if you did not actually accomplish that creation? And can you give yourself permission to not be perfect? Because it doesn’t have to be perfect. We are perfectly Basically imperfect and better. Done is better than not done. Done and doing it and being in the flow of it is better than never accomplishing it.
And so it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just get going and give yourself momentum to ride the wave. Give yourself momentum to start allowing it to build, the energy to build. And then here comes creation. Here comes creator, whatever sacred title, give that frequency that they’re You’re going to go, oh, you’re ready? Let’s go. And you’re going to ride that wave, my dear. You’re going to ride it and own it because you are meant to create. You are meant to not be bored because if you are bored, if you are depressed, your soul is asking you to go create something. So go create it. I promise you, you will thank yourself later for doing it. All right, my friends, please share this with a friend, and make sure you like and subscribe, and I’ll see you soon. Bye..
