Every tarot deck begins with the 22 Major Arcana cards, whose Tarot card meanings represent the most significant milestones on your soul’s journey.
Each card reflects a season of growth, transformation, or awakening that we all experience throughout life.
The journey begins with The Fool, a reminder of pure potential and the courage to step into the unknown with an open heart.
From there, The Magician teaches that you already possess everything you need to create your reality, while The High Priestess invites you to trust your intuition and the quiet knowing that lives within.
The Empress embodies abundance, creativity, nurturing, and life blossoming into being, while The Emperor represents structure, stability, healthy boundaries, and building something that lasts.
The Hierophant speaks of ancient wisdom, tradition, and belonging to something greater than yourself, while The Lovers, one of my favorite cards, reminds us that love and meaningful choices are always rooted in our deepest values.
As the journey continues, The Chariot represents determination and forward momentum, Strength teaches quiet courage and compassion, and The Hermit encourages you to pause, reflect, and discover the answers already living inside you.
The path continues through the ever-changing cycles of The Wheel of Fortune, the truth and balance of Justice, the surrender of The Hanged Man, and the transformational endings represented by Death.
Then come Temperance, reminding us to seek harmony and patience; The Devil, revealing the attachments and limiting beliefs we have the power to release; and The Tower, where anything built on an unstable foundation falls away so something stronger can rise.
After every storm comes The Star, bringing healing, hope, and renewal, while The Moon reminds us that not everything is as it seems and encourages us to trust our intuition even when the path feels uncertain.
Finally, The Sun brings joy, clarity, and success; Judgment marks a powerful awakening, and The World celebrates completion, wholeness, and the beautiful closing of one chapter before the next begins.

The remaining cards in the deck are known as the minor Arcana cards, and together their Tarot card meanings represent the many experiences of everyday life.
Each suit corresponds to one of the four elements that we all carry within us.
The suit of Wands represents the element of Fire and speaks to passion, creativity, purpose, ambition, and inspiration.
As you move from the Ace through the King, the cards tell the story of ideas being born, visions taking shape, challenges strengthening your resolve, victories being celebrated, and ultimately stepping into confident leadership with your gifts.
The suit of Cups represents the element of Water and reflects your emotional world, relationships, intuition, compassion, and capacity to love.
These cards explore everything from new emotional beginnings and meaningful partnerships to friendship, grief, nostalgia, emotional fulfillment, and learning to trust the wisdom of your heart.
Together, the Wands and Cups remind us that true fulfillment comes from balancing inspired action with emotional authenticity.
The suit of Swords corresponds to the element of Air and represents your thoughts, communication, beliefs, and the stories you tell yourself.
These cards often bring truth and clarity, even when that truth feels uncomfortable.
They guide us through moments of indecision, heartbreak, healing, anxiety, breakthrough, discernment, and ultimately learning how to think with greater wisdom, honesty, and integrity.
The suit of Pentacles represents the Earth element and focuses on the tangible aspects of life, including your work, finances, health, body, home, and long-term security.
These cards remind us that abundance is built through patience, consistency, collaboration, generosity, and steady growth.
Together, the Swords and Pentacles encourage us to create lives that are both mentally aligned and firmly grounded in reality.

Okay, beautiful souls, we are going to begin where every deck begins, which are 22 cards that hold the major moments in your journey, which are also the Major Arcana. First up, the Fool.
Pure potential stepping into the unknown with an open heart. The Magician. You already have everything you need. Focus your will and you can make it real. The High Priestess.
Your intuition speaking softly. Trust your inner voice. The thing you know without knowing how. The Empress. Abundance and nurturing, creativity, love, things blooming into being.
The Empire. Structure, steadiness, boundaries, leadership, building something that lasts. The Hierophant. Traditional and searching, wisdom passed down and belonging to something bigger than you. One of my favorites, The Lovers.
Connection and choice, a meeting of hearts, a decision made from your values. The Chariot. Drive and focus. Victory when you point all your energy in one direction. Strength.
Quiet courage, not force, but the gentle, patient power that comes from the heart. The Hermit. A time to go inward. Solitude, reflection, seeking the answers within yourself. The Wheel of Fortune.
Cycles turning. What goes around comes around, and the moment is shifting. Justice, truth and balance, cause and effect, fairness and taking responsibility. The Hangman, a pause on purpose, surrender and seeing your situation from a whole new angle. Death, rarely literal, an ending that clears the way, transformation, releasing what’s complete.
Temperance, balance and patience, blending, moderation, finding the middle path. The Devil: the chains you can take off, attachment, old habits, the things that feel like traps. The Tower: sudden change, something built on shaky foundation falls so something truer can rise. The Stars: hope after the storm, healing, renewal, and faith that the light is coming back. The Moon: not everything is as it seems, intuition, uncertainty, feeling your way through through the fog.
The Sun: pure joy, clarity, warmth, success. Everything out in the open and shining. Judgment: a reckoning and a rebirth. An inner calling, a moment of awakening, rising up. The World: completion, wholeness, accomplishment.

We all hold elements in our body, so I’m super excited to jump into this as well.
Let’s start first with fire. Wands are passion, energy, ambition, your creative spark. When Wands show up, something in you is lit. Ace of Wands, a spark of inspiration, new energy, a fresh idea, raw potential in your hands. Two of Wands, planning your next move, looking out at the world and deciding where to go.
Three of Wands, progress, your efforts starting to reach out into the world and come back to you. Four of Wands, celebration, home, stability, a happy milestone worth pausing for. Five of Wands, a little friction, competition, clashing energies, everyone’s talking at once. 6 of Wands, the win, recognition, success, a moment of well-earned pride. 7 of Wands, standing your ground, defending what matters, holding your position.
8 of Wands, things speeding up, momentum, fast movement, everything happening at once. 9 of Wands, one last push, Tired but still standing. Resilient. So close to the finish. 10 of Wands: carrying a lot, a heavy load, responsibility.
Time to set something down. Page of Wands: a free spirit, enthusiasm, curiosity, a new idea worth chasing. Knight of Wands: bold action, adventure. Passion, charging ahead, sometimes a little too fast. Queen of Wands, warm and magnetic, confident, self-assured, lighting up the room.
King of Wands, the visionary, a natural leader, bold, big picture, making it happen. Cups are the water suit, emotions, love, inner world. When Cups show up, It’s all about the heart. Ace of Cups, a new feeling, love, compassion, the heart opening and overflowing. Two of Cups, a real connection, partnership, mutual attraction, two people meeting as equals.
Three of Cups, your people, friendship, community, celebration, joy shared. Four of Cups, a little discontent. Feeling restless, maybe missing the good thing right in front of you. 5 of Cups. Grief.
Focused on what spilled when there’s still something left in the cup. 6 of Cups. Sweet. Nostalgia. Memories.
Innocence. A reunion. A soft look back. 7 of Cups. Too many choices.
Daydreams. Options. Sorting the real from the illusions. Eight of Cups. Walking away, leaving something behind to go find what’s deeper.
Nine of Cups. The wish card. Contentment, satisfaction, a quiet grateful yes. Ten of Cups. Emotional fulfillment, harmony, a happy home, love that feels whole.
Page of Cups. A tender message, creativity, intuition, a soft and open heart. Knight of Cups, the romantic, following the heart, charm, an offer made with feeling. Queen of Cups, deep compassion, nurturing, intuitive, a safe place to land. King of Cups, calm in the storm, emotional balance, kindness held with Strength.
Swords are the air suit. Your thoughts, your words, truth, the things you work out in the mind. They can feel sharp, yet they are very honest. Ace of Swords, a breakthrough, mental clarity, truth cutting clean, a light bulb moment. Two of Swords, on the fence, a hard choice you’re avoiding, a decision waiting to be made.
3 of Swords: Heartache, a painful truth, sorrow that’s real and part of being human. 4 of Swords: Rest, recovery, stillness, giving your mind the pause it’s been asking for. 5 of Swords: A hollow win, conflict, tension, a victory that maybe wasn’t worth it. 6 of Swords: Moving on, leaving rough waters for a calmer one, a gentle transition. Seven of Swords.
Something’s off. Strategy. Sneaking around. A nudge to check the whole story. Eight of Swords.
Feeling stuck, trapped, but that cage is mostly in your mind and the way out is real. Nine of Swords. The 3 AM worry, anxiety, overthinking, which always feels bigger in the dark. Ten of Swords. Rock bottom.
A painful ending. But you’ve hit the bottom, and the only way from here is up. Page of Swords, a curious mind, sharp, alert, chasing a new idea or a truth. Knight of Swords, full speed ahead, ambitious, direct, all logic and momentum. Queen of Swords, clear-eyed, honest, independent, sees straight through what’s real.
King of Swords, the wise mind, Truth, fairness, thinking with clarity and integrity. And the last suit, the Pentacles. This is the Earth suit. This is money, work, your body, the practical parts of your life. When these show up, this is the practical parts of life that you can actually touch.
Ace of Pentacles, a new opportunity, a seed of prosperity. Something solid you can build on. Two of Pentacles, juggling, balancing it all, staying flexible, keeping the plates spinning. Three of Pentacles, teamwork, collaboration, skill, building something with the right people. Four of Pentacles, holding on tight, security, saving through maybe gripping a little too hard.
Five of Pentacles, a hard stretch, feeling left out in the cold, help is closer than it looks. Six of Pentacles. Generosity, giving and receiving, the flow of support moving both ways. Seven of Pentacles. Patience, the long game, tending what you planted, trusting it will grow.
Eight of Pentacles. Mastery, putting in the reps, refining your craft, quiet, dedicated work. Nine of Pentacles. Enjoying the fruits, abundance you build yourself, independence well earned. 10 of Pentacles: lasting security, wealth, family legacy, something that holds for a long run.
Page of Pentacles: a student, ambitious, focus, planting a new venture with intention. Knight of Pentacles: steady and reliable, methodical, patient, the one who finishes the job. Queen of Pentacles: nurturing and practical, abundant, Grounded, taking care of what matters. King of Pentacles. Solid success, providing, secure, generous with what he builds.
And that’s all 78 of them. But I want to leave you with a really special note. While you learned all of the traditional meanings of each card, I want you to pull a card next time. While you know the traditional meaning, get quiet and trust that quiet noticing, that hearing, that feeling, that sensation, that knowing is the reading. Trust your intuition, my friend.
