How to Bring Abundance Into Your Life: The #1 Secret
The number one way to bring more abundance into your life is surprisingly simple.
In fact, it’s so straightforward that it’s often overlooked.
This powerful practice can be done daily and holds the key to transforming your reality.
It’s all about embracing a fundamental spiritual law: the law of gratitude.
📖 The Law of Gratitude
The law of gratitude teaches us that the more we count our blessings, the more blessings will flow into our lives.
Put simply, when you take a moment each day to say, “I’m grateful for…” or “I appreciate…,” you set powerful energy into motion.
By focusing on what you already have and appreciating it, the universe responds by bringing even more into your life to be grateful for.
But the magic of gratitude doesn’t stop there.
Expressing gratitude not only attracts more abundance but also raises your energetic frequency.
This elevated frequency acts like a magnet, pulling in more of the things you desire and aligning you with the life you want to create.
Gratitude is an incredibly powerful manifesting tool.
But how does it tie back to abundance?
The answer lies in the connection between gratitude and your perception of abundance.
The more grateful you feel for the things you have, the more abundant your life becomes.
Gratitude shifts your focus to what’s already going right, and in doing so, you begin to recognize and attract even more abundance.
So, how can you incorporate this practice into your daily life?
It’s incredibly simple.
The key is to intentionally take time each day to count your blessings.
🗓️ Daily Gratitude Practices
For instance, you might start your day by expressing gratitude for something as basic as waking up in the morning—an often-overlooked blessing.
Or, during your morning ritual, whether you’re drinking a glass of water, tea, or coffee, take a moment to pause and appreciate it.
Recognize how this drink nourishes your body, mind, and soul, and simply feel grateful for it.
For me, one of the things I cherish most in the morning is my child.
She brings me so much joy, especially because she’s a natural morning person like me.
She wakes up happy, and I’m incredibly grateful for those precious moments we get to share at the start of the day.
It’s so simple, yet it’s often overlooked.
Gratitude is a powerful practice that can shift your perspective and elevate your mood, no matter what’s happening around you.
Incorporating gratitude into your daily routine doesn’t have to be complicated and can fit seamlessly into your day.
In the morning, take a moment to reflect on something you’re grateful for.
It might be something you’re looking forward to, a blessing already present in your life, or even the simple joy of starting a new day.
Midday offers another opportunity to practice gratitude by pausing to appreciate the little moments.
You might feel thankful for a kind interaction with a stranger, the ease of smooth traffic on your way to a meeting, or the valuable lesson that came from a challenging situation.
In the evening, close your day with a gratitude inventory.
Identify three things you’re grateful for—whether big or small—and take time to truly feel the appreciation in your heart.
While the big things are obvious, it’s the smaller blessings, the overlooked moments, that deepen your practice and nurture a profound sense of contentment.
By consistently tuning into gratitude, you cultivate a habit that brings mindfulness, joy, and fulfillment to your daily life.
🙏 Feeling and Expressing Gratitude
When you express gratitude, it’s not just about saying, “I am grateful for this.”
You bring the emotion into your body and feel it through every part of you.
You can even imagine gratitude as a color or a warm sensation filling you up.
If you can’t feel it right away, that’s okay—imagination works just as well.
For me, when I feel gratitude, my mouth naturally curves into a smile because I can physically sense the appreciation in my heart.
It might sound like this: “I’m so, so grateful that everything worked out today exactly as it was meant to. I’m grateful for the wonderful dinner I shared with my family. I deeply appreciate my amazing team and all the ways they make my day easier.”
As you express this, you might also ask for more, like, “I’m so thankful for this and for so much more to come.”
At first, expressing gratitude this way may feel awkward or phony—it’s new, and it might not feel natural.
But the more you practice, the more genuine it becomes, and soon you’ll find that gratitude flows naturally, transforming your energy and your outlook.
It’s completely normal to feel like you’re making things up or faking it when you first start practicing gratitude.
If you don’t know how to connect to that level of appreciation yet, just remember that it’s all part of the process—fake it until you make it.
Give yourself permission to practice gratitude, even if it feels unfamiliar or forced at first.
Allow it to fill your body and heart, and with time, you’ll naturally start finding things to appreciate.
One of the things I absolutely love doing, which brings me great joy, is watering my plants.
I’m so grateful for them—they make me happy and bring a sense of calm to my space.
I appreciate how they provide oxygen, cleanse the air, and add a vibrant energy to my home, bringing the outdoors in.
There are so many things in my life that I’m naturally grateful for, and by focusing on these, it becomes easier to find gratitude in areas that may be harder to express at first.
The more you practice, the more you’ll find gratitude flowing effortlessly, even in the most unexpected places.
First off, I’m not a big fan of cleaning.
It’s not something I enjoy, but I do appreciate it when my house is clean.
There’s something about a sparkly, tidy sink that brings me joy.
I appreciate myself when I take the time to clean, and my husband and I make it a point to clean our house every Sunday.
While I might not love the actual task, I’m grateful that I have the ability to do it.
I appreciate my body for being able to move and bend in ways that allow me to clean my space.
This shift in perspective—finding gratitude even in tasks I don’t love—raises my frequency.
Now, how does this bring in more abundance?
When you raise your frequency through gratitude, you start attracting more positive things into your life.
On the flip side, when you’re stuck in complaint mode, feeling frustrated, or having a rough day, a consistent gratitude practice can break that cycle.
By expressing gratitude first thing in the morning, throughout the day, or at the end of the day, you’ll shift out of that negative frequency.
It’s like a reset button that pulls you out of the funk, moving you from complaint to appreciation and opening the door to more abundance and positive energy.
💪 Gratitude to Overcome Challenges
We all experience character-building moments and days when things just don’t go as planned.
There will be days when you have a rough time, but if you end your day with a gratitude practice, you can close it out with a high frequency and high vibration, even while acknowledging what happened.
Life doesn’t always go smoothly—loved ones transition, things go wrong, and challenges arise.
However, by practicing gratitude, you can navigate these difficult moments with more ease.
It doesn’t mean it won’t be hard or gut-wrenching, but gratitude helps you approach these experiences from a place of empowerment.
It also supports you in raising your frequency, which in turn attracts more abundance into your life.
Most importantly, a gratitude practice reminds you to recognize the blessings you have.
We all have countless blessings, but sometimes we’re so caught up in what’s going wrong that we fail to see the blessings right in front of us.
It’s completely normal to feel negative at times—we’re wired that way.
However, we have the power to rewire our brains to be more positive, which in turn helps us attract more abundance into our lives.
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room.
When you’re having a difficult, character-building day, it might be hard to find anything to be grateful for.
In those moments, reframing the situation, how you feel, or even the challenge itself can help you start to identify things you can appreciate.
I’m not going to tell you to dismiss your feelings—that wouldn’t be helpful.
It’s important to honor what you’re feeling.
But even on the toughest days, you can still end the day by finding three things to be grateful for, and you can always revisit the bigger challenge tomorrow.
The issue will still be there, and you’ll have the time and space to process your emotions.
Challenges are inevitable, and it’s okay to take the time you need to process them.
What I’ve found is that reframing can help ease the situation, allowing you to eventually express gratitude for the experience—whether that’s in the moment or once you’ve had time to work through the emotions attached to it.
Sometimes, challenges aren’t going to be easily solved, and it would be unrealistic to think that expressing gratitude alone can fix everything.
However, there’s always something to appreciate about the process, such as the closure a challenge might bring, or the simple act of having a gratitude practice to help you navigate a tough day.
This practice can shift your mindset and make you feel better.
There’s always a way to reframe your perspective, and it’s important to remember that you’re human and have a human experience.
So, lean into your gratitude practice to help you process whatever challenge comes your way.
🫙📓 Gratitude Tools: Jar and Journal
A practice to consider is a gratitude jar.
Every time something happens that you’re grateful for, write it down on a small piece of paper and add it to the jar.
It can be as big or as small as you want, and you can revisit the jar anytime you need a boost.
If you’re having a challenging day and finding it hard to identify something to be grateful for, you can take a moment to read through all the things you’ve written in your jar.
Reading them aloud can remind you of the many blessings in your life and help shift your energy in a positive direction.
Another way to practice gratitude, without the need for a jar or pieces of paper, is to keep a gratitude journal.
In this journal, you can write down what you’re appreciative of and grateful for each day.
You can use it as a tool for expressing gratitude in the morning, during the afternoon, or in the evening—whether you choose to write it down, say it out loud, or simply reflect on it internally.
The key is to make it a consistent practice, whether you’re journaling, reflecting in your mind, or expressing it verbally.
🍽️ Expressing Gratitude During Meals
One of my favorite ways to express gratitude is by saying “thank you” before I eat.
It’s a simple practice that helps me stop and appreciate everything that went into getting that food on my plate.
I’m grateful for the farmers who grew the vegetables or fruits, or for those who raised the animals that provided the meat.
I also appreciate the person who prepared the food and the nourishment it will provide my body.
This practice helps me honor not just the food, but the entire process that makes it possible to enjoy a meal. It’s a beautiful way to cultivate gratitude in everyday moments.
Expressing gratitude during meals is a wonderful way to break up your day and shift your focus from your mind to your heart.
It’s a practice I truly love and have been doing for quite some time.
🧘♀️ Unlock Abundance with the Power of Gratitude
Whether you choose to express your gratitude internally or externally, it’s a practice that can be done in your own way and doesn’t take long—sometimes just 10 seconds is all it takes.
By consistently practicing gratitude, you’re tapping into the spiritual law of abundance, which helps bring more positivity and abundance into your life.
So, what are you grateful for today?

Hey, Amy Robeson here. Thank you for joining me on this podcast where we talk about spirituality, the awakening process, mental health, and so much more. Join me weekly to get your weekly dose of spirituality and medicine. I look forward to seeing you on the inside. Hello, and welcome to today’s episode. I’m so excited you are here. Here, let’s talk about the number one way to bring more abundance into your life. And I think this is the most simplest way to bring more abundance into your life. I think it’s often overlooked, and you can do it daily. It’s very, very simple. And that is practicing a very powerful spiritual law, and that is the law of gratitude. And the law of gratitude states that the more you count your blessings, the more blessings will be counted upon you. So let me say that’s slightly different. Every day you say, I’m grateful for, I appreciate. And the more that you count those blessings, the more that the universe will find more ways to bless you. Not only when you count your blessings, not only when you express gratitude and appreciation that you bring more abundance in your life, you also raise your frequency, which then attracts more to you, more of the things that you want, more of the things that you’re wanting to attract.
So it’s a very powerful manifesting tool. And so how does it play back into abundance? Well, the more abundant you feel, which is gratitude, the more grateful you are towards the things that you have going on in your life, the more abundance you will recognize in your life. So how do you practice this on a daily basis? It’s very, very, very simple. One is you take time to do it. Not only can you count blessings in the morning where you’re just like, I’m grateful I woke up in the morning. That would be a great thing to be grateful for, right? Or while you’re drinking your first cup of water or your tea or your coffee, whatever your morning ritual is, you can stop and pause and be grateful that you have this delicious drink that is nourishing your body, nourishing your mind, nourishing your soul, and you’re just grateful for it. I know one of the things that I express gratitude in the morning for is my child. I think my child is so funny. She’s a morning person like me, so she wakes up naturally happy. And I’m just grateful that I get to spend time with her in the morning.
It’s so simple, yet it’s often overlooked. And so you can have three different gratitude practices. You can practice first thing in the morning, just expressing something you’re grateful for. It might be something you’re looking forward to, or it could be possibly something that has already or is occurring in that particular moment. Midday afternoon. Look for things to be grateful for. I’m so grateful for that lovely conversation I just had in the grocery store with that complete stranger. I am so grateful that I am on time for this meeting and that the traffic just allowed me to get here smoothly and effortlessly. Or it could simply be, I’m just so grateful for the lesson I just learned. Whatever it is, we can express gratitude for. And then the end of night practice, this is, I think, is the easiest one, and the most profound one is where you do an inventory of your day and you find three things to be grateful for. It can be big Big or small. And don’t look for the big things. The big things are obvious. It’s the little things that people forget to count their blessings for. And this is where you get to really tune into your heart and appreciate the things that you are experiencing, that you get to experience, that you are participating in, and express gratitude for them.
And When you’re expressing gratitude, you’re not just saying, I am grateful for this. You are bringing the emotion into your body, and you’re feeling gratitude through your whole body, or you’re imagining it like a color or like something. It doesn’t matter if you can’t feel something, you can imagine it. For me, naturally, when I’m expressing gratitude, my mouth wants to start smiling. Smiling because I’m feeling the appreciation and the gratitude in my heart. It might look like something like this. I am so, so, so grateful that everything just worked out the way it that you’re supposed to today. I’m so grateful for the lovely dinner I got to have with my family. I’m so grateful for the magnificent team that I have in all of their that they get to problem-solve throughout the day, which makes my life easier. I’m just so, so grateful for this. I appreciate them. I appreciate all of this. I’m asking for this, and I’m asking for so much more, so much more things that I am grateful for that I can appreciate. This appreciation can sound something like that. You can make it sound. You can feel like you are being phony when you’re first starting off doing this because it might feel like a foreign thing to do to you.
Please note that this is normal, totally normal, to feel like you’re making things up, that you’re faking it because you don’t know how to connect to that level of gratitude yet. But it’s the fake until you make it principle. Give yourself permission to practice gratitude and feel it and allow it to be all encompassing in your body and in your heart. And the more that you practice it, the more that you will just naturally find things to be appreciative of. One of the things that I absolutely love doing that brings me great joy is watering my plants. I love my plants. They bring me great joy. I’m grateful for my plants. They make me so happy, and I’m just so happy I get to take care of them, and that they give me oxygen, and they cleanse my space, and they bring a different vibration and a different feeling. They bring the outdoors in, and I’m grateful for the records. There’s all sorts of different things in my life that I can find that I am naturally grateful for. And by expressing those things that I’m naturally grateful for, it’s easier for me to find things that maybe take a little harder time to express gratitude for in the beginning.
First off, I’m not a big fan of cleaning. I don’t like cleaning. However, I do appreciate when my house is cleaned. I love when my house is cleaned. I love when my sink is sparkly and clean. I appreciate myself when I do these things. My husband and I, we do clean our house every Sunday. And so I might not love the very active thing that I’m doing, but I appreciate that I have the ability to clean my house. I appreciate and I’m grateful for my body that it can move and it can bend in a way that it can allow me to clean my house. And so when you find things that you are grateful for, you’re going to raise your frequency. So how does this bring in more abundance? Well, when you are raising your frequency, you’re going to attract more things into your life. And so when you are in complaint mode, when you’re complaining and complaining and complaining complaining and you’re having a rough day, if you have a gratitude practice that you are consistent with, what it’s going to do is it’s going to get you out of that frequency. It’s going to break the cycle because you are so used to expressing gratitude at the end of the day or expressing gratitude throughout the day or expressing gratitude first thing in the morning, it’s going to break you out of the funk or out of the complaint or out of the fill in the blank.
I know that we all have character building moments. We all have character building days, and there are days that you are going to have a bad day. But if you have this at the end of the day to bring your day together, what you’re going to end with is a high frequency, a high vibration, while still honoring whatever occurred during the day. Because things happen. We We have loved ones that transition. We have things that just don’t go right. There are practices that you can have in place, like expressing gratitude, that will allow those things that are awful or hard or not the greatest for you to navigate more easily and effortlessly. It doesn’t mean it’s not going to be hard. It doesn’t mean it’s not going to be gut-wrenching, but it does assist you in navigating them in a place of empowerment. And it also assists you in practicing, raising your frequency so you can attract more abundance in your life. And most importantly, you’re expressing gratitude for the blessings, and you have tons of blessings. We all have tons of blessings. Sometimes we are so blinded by what is going on in our lives that you can’t recognize the blessings that are literally right in front of you.
And this is just normal. We are wired to be negative. So rewire your brain to be more positive, to attract more abundance into your life. Now, let’s just address the elephant in the room, too. When you are having a character-building day and you are having a challenging day, it might be hard to find one thing that you are grateful for. This is where reframing what happened or reframing how you feel or reframing the situation or reframing the challenge can help you find or start to find things to be grateful for. In those cases, I’m not going to tell you, don’t dismiss how you’re feeling because that would be wrong, you can still end your day with three things you’re grateful for and address that problem tomorrow because it’s going to be there for you to address no matter what because you got to process the emotions of whatever it is that was happening in that moment. Challenges are going to come up, and it’s okay to take a little bit to process them because we need to process the emotions that are attached to those challenges. But what I have found is reframing usually can help with the situation and process the situation and allow you to express appreciation for this situation eventually or in that exact moment, depending on what it is and how big the challenge is.
Sometimes the challenge isn’t going to be solved and just the matter of, I’m going to express gratitude. That would be foolish to even think that for some challenges, However, there is appreciation for what the challenge might bring to you when there’s closure to it, or there can be appreciation to having a gratitude practice for when you’re having a challenging day because that can make you feel better. And so there’s always a reframe that’s available. And know that you are human, you’re having a human experience. So lean into your gratitude practice so you can process the challenge no matter what. One other practice that you can do besides expressing gratitude in the morning, expressing gratitude throughout the day, expressing gratitude at the end of the day is having a gratitude jar. Anytime you have something you are grateful for, you can write it on a little piece of paper, throw it in the jar, and it could be a big jar, it could be a little jar, and you can revisit those appreciations whenever you want. So if you are having a character building day and you’re finding something and finding it hard to find something to be grateful for, you can go into your gratitude jar and take a look at all of the things that you’ve expressed appreciation for and read them out loud to yourself.
Another way you can do this that doesn’t involve a jar and doesn’t involve a bunch of paper being ripped out, you can just have a gratitude journal where you are writing down what you are appreciative, what you are grateful for each and every day. You can express gratitude in the morning in a journal. You can express it just internally as well. You can express gratitude in the morning in the middle of the afternoon, in the evening, internally or externally. You can do it in a journal, you can do it internally, or you can do it externally. Another way that I absolutely love to express gratitude is saying, Thank you when I eat my food. This is a great way to just stop and appreciate everything that it took to get that food on that plate. That could be from the farmers that grew or raised the animal or grew or raised the vegetables. Grew or raised, that doesn’t even make sense. You could be grateful for the farmer that grew vegetables or fruits or the farmer that raised the animal. You can express gratitude for whoever prepared the food. You can express gratitude for the food itself and be appreciative for the nourishment and the nutrients it’s going to provide your body.
Expressing gratitude during meals, I think, is a great way to break up the day and give yourself permission to move out of your head and into your heart. And it’s a practice that I absolutely love doing, and I’ve been doing it for quite some time. And it’s something that I think can be done internally or externally. So it just depends on what it is that you want to do or how you want to do it. And it doesn’t take very long. It can literally take 10 seconds. All right, my friends, the fastest way to raise your abundance, to bring more abundance into your life is to express gratitude, to practice the spiritual law of gratitude. So what are you grateful for? Please let me know. I would love to hear from you, and I can’t wait to see you in the next one. Please make sure you like and and share this with a friend. Bye.
