In this episode, I explore how to recognize when a dream you’ve been pursuing no longer aligns with who you are today. I share why it’s important to listen to your intuition, question where your desires come from, and permit yourself to change direction. I discuss how...
Have you ever felt sad about saying goodbye to something, even when you know it’s the right thing to do?
Maybe it’s a career you’ve spent years building, a business you’ve poured your heart into, or something you’ve loved doing for so long that you can’t imagine your life without it.
You know that something is changing, but that doesn’t necessarily make it easier to let go.
I recently found myself in that exact situation as I received clear guidance from Spirit that it was time to let go of something I’ve been doing since 2017.
I’m in a season of change, and I’m sure you are, too.
For years, I’ve been hosting the Sacred Awakening Live Retreat, and this year, I felt guided to release the retreat as I’ve always known it and reimagine what comes next.
So, in this episode, I want to share some of the biggest takeaways from our retreat, what I learned about the dreams we hold, and why it’s so important to trust when Spirit guides us in a new direction, even when we love what we’re leaving behind.
Sometimes, we can be so attached to something that we forget we’re allowed to change. We can love what we’ve created, appreciate everything it has brought into our lives, and still recognize that it’s time for something different.
Today, I want to invite you to explore what it means to honor your dreams, trust your timing, and permit yourself to move forward when life begins calling you in a new direction.
🌼 The Power of Collective Energy and Dandelion Dreams
One of the things I love most about teaching Sacred Awakening is the energy that comes together when we gather as a group.
When we come together with a shared intention, our energy is amplified. We create opportunities to learn from one another, support each other, and experience things that might feel different when we’re working on our own.
When we enter the Akashic Records together, we amplify the energy of the Records and Spirit, creating space for transformation and deeper connection.
At this year’s retreat, our theme was Dandelion Dreams, and it was beautiful to witness the shifts that happened throughout the experience.
I watched people’s energy change, their expressions soften, and their confidence grow. There’s something incredibly special about watching someone reconnect with themselves and begin to see new possibilities for their life.
One of the biggest teachings from our retreat was recognizing that the dreams and wishes we once held may no longer align with who we are becoming.
Think about something you wanted deeply a few years ago.
Perhaps it was a particular career, a relationship, a business, or a lifestyle you imagined would make you happy.
What happens when you finally get what you wanted, only to realize that it no longer feels right for you?
Sometimes, we receive something we once dreamed about and discover that our priorities have changed along the way.
That realization can bring up feelings of guilt, confusion, or even disappointment. We might wonder why we no longer want something we worked so hard to achieve.
But you’re allowed to change your mind.
You’re allowed to release old desires and intentions that no longer feel aligned with the person you’re becoming.
You don’t have to keep pursuing something simply because it once mattered to you.
Instead, you can appreciate what that dream taught you, recognize how it helped you grow, and make space for what you genuinely want now.
As you think about your own dreams, ask yourself: Are the things I’m wishing for still aligned with who I am today?
You might discover that some of your dreams still excite you, while others are ready to be released.
Give yourself permission to explore those feelings without judging yourself for changing.
💜 Celebrate Your Dreams and Trust Your Timing
Another beautiful part of the retreat was reconnecting with our community.
After more than nine and a half years of teaching Sacred Awakening and welcoming over 2,100 students into the program, I continue to be amazed by the connections, friendships, and transformations that grow within this community.
One of my favorite reminders came from a returning student who shared that she had accomplished everything she wrote in her journal at a retreat two or three years ago.
She had written down her dreams, including traveling across the United States and experiencing things she had always wanted to do, and she had actually made them happen.
I thought that was so beautiful.
Sometimes, we write down our dreams and forget about them as we go about our daily lives. We get caught up in everything we need to do, and we don’t always stop to recognize how much progress we’ve made.
But when we take the time to look back, we may discover that we’ve already created experiences we once only imagined.
This is why I believe it’s so important to write down your dreams and celebrate how far you’ve come.
Big dreams become possible when we give them time, take action, and continue moving forward, even when we can’t see exactly how everything will unfold.
If something feels out of reach right now, you don’t have to figure out every detail before you begin.
Start with small steps. Pay attention to the opportunities that come your way, and trust that you’ll learn more as you move forward.
You might not accomplish everything on the timeline you originally imagined, and that’s okay.
You can still honor your dreams while allowing the journey to unfold in its own time.
During the retreat, we also explored the medicine of plants and animals, including dandelions, cacao, turtles, and spiders.
I love exploring these connections because the natural world can invite us to become more curious about ourselves and the experiences we’re having.
When we feel drawn to a particular plant or animal, we can take that curiosity as an invitation to explore what it might represent to us and what we might learn from the connection.
You don’t have to force a meaning or assume that every encounter has a specific message. Instead, stay curious, notice what resonates with you, and remain open to the insights that emerge.
I also have something exciting to share with you.
For the first time, I’m making the retreat activations, including our DNA activation, available as a home study.

🦋 Embracing Change, Grief, and New Beginnings
As I reflect on everything we experienced during the retreat, I also want to share a little about the changes I’ve been navigating in my own life.
I’ve been working through some personal challenges while receiving guidance to make significant changes in my business.
This year’s retreat was the last one I planned to host in person in the way I’ve always offered it, and I’m planning to take a break in 2027.
Even though I love hosting live events and connecting with our community, I’m also recognizing that I want to make more time for myself and my almost six-year-old daughter.
I want to create space to recharge, be present with my family, and honor what matters most to me in this season of my life.
And that hasn’t necessarily been an easy realization.
When you’ve spent years building something you love, it can be difficult to imagine doing things differently. You might feel excited about what’s ahead while also grieving the things you’re leaving behind.
Both feelings can exist at the same time.
This transition reminds me of when I left my previous career to build my spiritual business.
Other people expected me to return to my former career, and perhaps they could see how good I was at it. But I came to understand that being good at something didn’t mean I was meant to do it forever.
Just because something works for you at one point in your life doesn’t mean it has to remain your path indefinitely.
You can love something deeply and still know it’s time to move in a new direction.
You can appreciate everything you’ve accomplished without feeling obligated to continue doing the same thing forever.
And if you’re experiencing grief as you navigate a transition, I want you to know that it doesn’t automatically mean you’re making the wrong decision.
Sometimes, we interpret sadness as a sign that we should turn back. We wonder whether we’re making a mistake because letting go feels so difficult.
But grief is part of the human experience.
We don’t need to defeat it, push it away, or convince ourselves that we should be happy about every change.
We can allow ourselves to feel the sadness, uncertainty, and fear while still trusting where we’re going.
You might not know what the next chapter will look like. You might not have a complete plan or understand why everything is changing the way it is.
And that’s okay, too.
Sometimes, Spirit guides us somewhere unexpected, and our job is to remain open to that guidance rather than insisting that our lives unfold according to the plans we made years ago.
As you navigate your own transitions, ask yourself: Am I holding on because this is still right for me, or because I’m afraid of what it means to let go?
You don’t have to answer that question immediately.
Give yourself time to reflect, feel your emotions, and listen to what your intuition is telling you.
You can honor what has been while making room for what comes next.
✨ Trust Where You’re Going and Keep Dreaming Big
As we move through these changes, I believe it’s important to remain open to the possibilities that are unfolding around us.
I believe 2027 will be a significant year energetically, spiritually, and collectively, and I want to encourage you to pay attention to what you’re feeling guided to do as you prepare for the next chapter of your life.
Perhaps you’re being called to make a change in your career, approach your business differently, spend more time with your family, or finally pursue something you’ve been putting off for years.
Whatever it is, give yourself permission to explore it.
You don’t have to wait until you have everything figured out before taking the next step.
Sometimes, we delay our dreams because we think we need a perfect plan, complete certainty, or the approval of everyone around us.
But you can begin with what you know right now.
Take action on what feels meaningful to you, prioritize your well-being, and trust that you’ll continue learning as you move forward.
I also want to remind you that you don’t have to stand on a big stage, build an enormous business, or reach thousands of people to make a difference.
You are magnificent, my friend, and your dreams matter.
Every decision you make and every person you impact can create a ripple effect that reaches further than you might ever realize.
Sometimes, the most meaningful changes happen in the quiet moments when you choose to honor yourself, listen to your intuition, or show up differently for the people you love.
You don’t always get to see the full impact of those choices, but that doesn’t make them any less important.
So, keep showing up for yourself. Celebrate your growth, remain curious about what you’re becoming, and trust the transitions that bring you into greater alignment with your life.
And if you’re feeling sad about something you’re leaving behind, allow yourself to feel that sadness without assuming it means you need to go back.
You can love the life you’ve created and still be ready for something new.
You can honor your dreams while allowing them to evolve.
You can trust Spirit while giving yourself permission to change your mind.
If you’d love to experience the retreat activations from home, visit theamyrobeson.com/liveselfstudy to learn more about the Activation Pass and VIP Pass.
I did so much channeling during these activations, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
As you move through your own season of change, remember that you don’t need to know every detail of the journey ahead.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is trust yourself, trust Spirit, and allow your life to unfold in ways you may not have expected.

Full transcription of the episode:
Have you ever been sad to say goodbye to something, but you know it’s the right thing to do? I recently had to have that experience.
I am in the process of changing and I’m sure you are too. And I just hosted our sacred awakening live retreat. I’ve been hosting this retreat since 2017.
How my AOSIP record program was birthed, how the method was birthed was all through inspiration to want to teach it as a retreat, as a live event. And then I ended up not doing it that way because spirit told me to do it differently. And I got very clear advice this year that it’s time to let it go, to reimagine it.
So, I wanted to do an episode on what we learn, our big takeaways from the live retreat, but I also want to talk about transition because I think it’s so crucial and important to trust when spirit is leading you somewhere else that even if you really are good at something or you really like that thing or you have all these people telling you they love it, that sometimes you have to trust where the winds are taking you.
With that being said, let’s talk about the big takeaways from the retreat and also let’s talk about transition.
So, one is when you get together in a big group of people, the energy is amplified. And that’s why I love doing group programs as well because when we get together as sacred awakening aashic record students and we go inside of the aashic records, we amplify the energy of the records. Amplify the energy of spirit and true transformation happens.
And this weekend, this live retreat was no exception to that. I literally watched people’s energy changed, their facial expressions changed, the way they carried themselves changed, and it was so darn flipping beautiful.
At this live retreat, we worked with plant medicine of the dandelion. I got very clear advice, very clear download that it was really important that I named and themed the Sacred Awakening live retreat this year, Dandelion Dreams.
And one of the big focuses right off the get-go was to connect and understand that some of the wishes that you made a long time ago, the version of who you are becoming are no longer in alignment with those old wishes. And so it’s really important for us to clear old desires, old intentions, old wishes.
Otherwise, it’s going to show up at your door and you’re going to be like, “Huh? That doesn’t even fit into my new plan. That doesn’t fit into who I am. That doesn’t fit into my identity.”
And so sometimes that can also be really hard when it does show up because it’s like you feel guilty or shame or confused on like what do I do with this? I asked for it. I wanted it so badly before and now it’s here and now I’m saying I don’t want it.
And I think that’s really important in terms of manifestation anyways because sometimes we change our minds and sometimes the old thing that we want no longer fits who we have become and where we’re going next and it is okay to say goodbye to those things.
It’s also important to clear those things as well.
The other big thing that I noticed in the retreat was I have a lot of return students. Like I love connecting with our community. We have one of the best communities. This is why I teach Shaker Awakening. I’ve been teaching our AOS recorder program for over 9 and a half years. We have over 2100 students in the program.
And when we get together, it’s really beautiful how our community interacts because people really do love each other and they make lifelong friends. And it’s just so beautiful to see that.
And the thing that I want to take away is when you write things down, sometimes we forget like, oh, I forgot I had that dream and I forgot I had that wish.
And I had a student walk up to me and they were there like a few years ago and she’s like, “Everything I wrote down, everything I wrote down from the retreat from 3 years ago, I think it was 2 or 3 years ago. I already did.”
She wanted to travel across the United States, she did that. She wanted to have certain experiences, she did it.
And it was so cool to see a witness her old journal and her old wishes because then she got to acknowledge and celebrate that she did do it and that no dream is too big.
We just have to have time and action and momentum and movement. And so if you’re dreaming of something big and it feels so grandiose, it feels so outside of you. Take small baby actions.
Move towards that thing because when you move towards that thing, magical things occur as well.
Also, if you are wanting to take advantage and receive some of our activations from the retreat or do our DNA activation, for the first time ever, I am making this available for a home study. So, you can listen to it anywhere.
You can go to theamyroison.com livestudy. The amyia robesson.com live selfstudy or you can click the link in the show notes or the description to sign up for the activation pass or the VIP pass as well.
I’d love to send you the activations then DNA like it was so freaking powerful.
One more teaching that I want to take away. I have shared this a lot and I think it’s really important to talk about it.
We have certain medicines, certain plants, certain animals that want to come in and help us. And when we are attracted or noticing those medicines like a turtle, a spider, a monkey, a giraffe, a dandelion, cacao, whatever it is, there is sweet, beautiful medicine.
It is a particular frequency that wants to support you in becoming who you are. Wants to support you in the chapter you are in. Was to support you in ways that you can’t even fathom as well.
And so trust those medicines as they’re coming in. Work with them. Lean towards them because there’s so much that you can get out of them.
Okay. Now, as far as transition, I am making some interesting transitions in my life. I have had some really crazy unfortunate events that are happening in my personal life right now that
symbolize that I am like literally creating a new foundation.
And with that being said, I’ve been being guided for quite some time in my business. Like it’s time to make some like massive changes. It’s time to make some massive moves.
And I knew that this was going to be the last time I hosted our live sacred awakening retreat in person in the way that I’ve always offered it. And I’m definitely taking a break next year unless something changes and I will listen and I will trust that. But I’m definitely taking a break next year.
And I had a student come up to me and she’s like, “You’re taking a gap year.” I was like, “What’s a gap year?” And she goes, “You know, when someone takes a break off of school, like you’re going to come back to this.” I said, “Maybe. I don’t know.”
And this was the thing when I like transitioned out of my old career in into my spiritual business. Everybody told me I’d be back. I’d be back. I’d be back. I’d be back.
And I knew in my heart I would never be back. Like I would never step back into that career because I knew that just because I was good at it didn’t mean I was meant to do that forever.
And the beautiful thing about having the business that I have is I get to reimagine anything I want to do in my business and trust where I am being led.
And I love hosting live events. I love connecting. I also know that next year there are some personal things that I personally want to do and I have to trust that taking care of myself and taking that time off for myself cuz I’m only able to take so much time off.
I have a 5-year-old and almost six-year-old and I want to spend as much time with her, but I also know that mommy needs to recharge her batteries.
And so transition can be hard. And so if you’re being guided to make a transition and you’re grieving it, that doesn’t mean it’s the wrong move.
Grief is something we’re here to master. And not master in the way like we overcome it, we defeat it. Not like that.
Grief is a part of the human experience and it’s a brave different emotions. And it’s being able to dance with those emotions while still taking very good care of yourself and trusting where you are going.
I know that there’s some personal things that I want to do next year for myself that requires time off just for myself and I know that I got to do that. Maybe something changes. Maybe spirit leads me down a different path.
I’m very good at trusting spirit and I want to encourage you to trust spirit as well because the more you trust, the more unfolds, the more magic is created in your life.
And 2027 is going to be a massive, massive, massive year energetically, spiritually, collectively. Like we are making some massive changes.
And I want to encourage you to trust taking really good care of yourself, to actually act on taking very good care of yourself. Study, practice, do the things you’re being guided to do, and trust where the winds are taking you.
Trust where you are going because you are magnificent, my friend. And I am so grateful that you have shown up for yourself. And I am so grateful that you have big dreams because those dreams are going to impact a lot of people.
And you might not know how that works and that’s okay. But every little decision you make impacts people in your life. And those people impact people and those people impact people and those people impact people.
And so you don’t have to want to be on a big stage in order to impact many people. You just doing you, taking care of yourself, transitioning where you’re meant to transition, trusting where you’re meant to stay in alignment with, all of those things are magnificent, and you are magnificent.
All right, my friends. Please like and share this with a friend. And if you want those activations, please make sure you sign up because I’d love to send them. They are super uber nuber powerful. I did lots of channeling and I can’t wait to share them with you.
All right, I’ll see you soon.
