WAYS TO PRACTICE RADICAL SELF-LOVE
We all have parts of ourselves that we don’t necessarily love.
These parts could be behaviors, patterns, or negative thoughts that run through your mind or wreak havoc in your life. The key to radical self-love is accepting all parts of you on all levels. That doesn’t mean you don’t get to change your behavior. It means you can be self-aware, love yourself, and forgive yourself at that moment. The more you become self-aware, the more you can make the changes you want.
THE RADICAL SELF-LOVE TRIFECTA
There are three very powerful ingredients to radical self-love that I call the trifecta to radical self-love. The trifecta is awareness, love, and compassion. These three ingredients create the reality you want to create because you shift all parts of your being into love.
AWARENESS
Accepting all parts of yourself is the first step to awareness and change. When you accept all parts of yourself and give yourself a lot of love, compassion, and grace, an opening of worthiness occurs within you.
LOVE
When you feel worthy and when you feel you deserve love, you can give yourself that love, and then a whole new world of possibility starts to open up.
COMPASSION
Then when you’re radically accepting yourself, and you’re giving yourself self-love on a different level, you have compassion for the patterns, the behaviors, and the thoughts that you are having that you don’t necessarily like. Compassion is a powerful tool because compassion invites change, acceptance, and new awareness.
OWNING YOUR WORTH
Worthiness is a huge thing for a lot of people. It doesn’t matter how successful you are. The next level of worthiness is always available to you because you might have goals, dreams, and aspirations that you still need to reach.
The question is, do you feel worthy of those things? If you don’t feel worthy, that is a key indication that another level of self-love has to happen.
YOUR PAST CREATES YOUR PRESENT REALITY
Your past created this reality, and how you think about the future will create your new reality. If you stop and start untangling the past from your energy, mind, and heart and tell yourself how much you love yourself…
You will start gifting yourself with more compassion when you make mistakes.
So, instead of beating yourself up, when you practice radical self-love by becoming more aware, you gift yourself compassion and remind yourself how much you deeply love yourself.
RADICAL SELF-LOVE PRACTICES
SAY I LOVE YOU TO YOU
If you have not told yourself you love yourself, look in the mirror today. Or, pull out your camera on your phone and look at yourself and say, ‘I love you!’
Use your name, first name, and last name, and repeat back, I love you. It’s a powerful exercise of radical self-love because you’re telling it to yourself.
CATCH YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
The more you become self-aware of your negative self-thoughts, the more you will start radically loving yourself differently. When you catch those thoughts, you’re going to state to yourself:
‘That’s not true. That is not my reality. I’m going to give myself compassion for even thinking about that at this moment in time.’
Then you’ll forgive yourself, say I love you, and gracefully move on!
No one can love you better than yourself. When you love yourself deeply and allow yourself to receive that love, you will have a new self-awareness, self-worth, and the ability to love yourself on a completely different level. You deserve this!

Full transcription of the episode:
Hello, and welcome to today’s episode. I am so excited you are here. Society is constantly influencing us, constantly. If you scroll on Instagram, a lot of women, and a lot of men, they look the same. There’s this body image that society is deeming normal right now. I’m here to say that it’s really important to not look like everyone else. Yes, we can have the tendency to have similar tastes in something because, of course, society will influence the clothes we’re wearing based on fashion at that moment in time. However, if you’re not into it, don’t be into it. Don’t be influenced by it. Because here’s the thing. We all have parts of ourselves that we don’t necessarily love.
These parts could be behaviors, patterns, or negative thoughts that run through your mind or wreak havoc in your life. The key to radical self-love is accepting all parts of you on all levels. That does not mean you don’t get to change the behavior. What it means is that you have the ability to have self-awareness and love yourself and forgive yourself in that particular moment. The more that you become more self-aware, then the more you’re able to make changes that you’re wanting to make.
But first, the first step to those changes and the first step to that awareness is accepting all parts of yourself. When you accept all parts of yourself, and you give yourself a lot of love, a lot of compassion, a lot of grace, there’s an opening of worthiness that occurs within the being. That being would be you. When you feel worthy, and you feel that you deserve love, and not only that you deserve love, but you can give yourself love, a whole new world of possibility starts to open up. Then when you’re radically accepting yourself, and you’re giving yourself self-love on a different level, you have compassion for the patterns, the behaviors, and the thoughts that you are having that you don’t necessarily like.
Compassion is such a powerful tool because compassion invites change, invites acceptance, and invites new awareness. There’s this beautiful trifecta that happens within the self, love. That trifecta is love, compassion, and awareness. Those three ingredients create the reality that you want to create because you start to shift all parts of your being into love. Worthiness is a really big thing for a lot of people. And worthiness, it doesn’t matter how successful you are; there’s the next level of worthiness that’s always available to you because there are goals and dreams and aspirations that you might have that you haven’t reached yet.
But do you feel worthy of those things? And if you don’t feel worthy, that is a key indication that there’s another level of self-love that has to happen. Self-love is more than just saying, I love myself, which is a very powerful exercise. If you have not told yourself you love yourself, go look in the mirror today. Pull out your camera on your phone and look at yourself and say, I love you. Use your name, use your first name, use your last name, and repeat back, I love you. It’s a powerful exercise of radical self-love because you’re telling it to yourself.
We’re all in this energy of the past experiences that are creating the current reality. Your past created this reality, and how you think about the future will then create your new reality. If you stop and start untangling the past from your energy, from your mind, from your heart, the heart that you guard so closely, and you start telling yourself, I love myself, and you start taking small actions of compassion when you mess up when you say something you don’t like to yourself or to others, or when you notice a pattern that’s occurring, you’re like, I’m doing this again. I can’t believe I’m doing this again.
So, instead of beating yourself up, you use that awareness, then you give yourself love, and you give yourself compassion, and it starts this snowball effect in your life, this ripple effect in your life that will start making changes in your reality that you will reap the reward in the future for. You will also start reaping that reward very gradually in the present moment. The more that you become self-aware of your negative self-thoughts, the more you will start radically loving yourself in a different way. Because when you catch those thoughts, you’re going to go, huh, that’s not true. You’re going to simply state to yourself, that’s not true. That is not my reality.
I’m going to give myself compassion for even thinking about that at this moment in time. Then you’re going to forgive yourself. Then you’re going to say, I love you, and you’re going to gracefully move on. Then when it happens again, you’re going to do it all over because the more you become self-aware and the more you give yourself compassion and give yourself that love, it will change the very fabric of your soul, the very fabric of your reality. But you have to be willing to do it. You have to be willing to stay consistent.
No one can love you better than yourself. Let me say that again. No one can love you better than yourself. When you love yourself so deeply, and you allow yourself to receive that love, you will have a completely new self-awareness, self-worth, and the ability to love yourself on a completely different level. You deserve this. You totally deserve radical self-love. So do you take a moment, right now, it doesn’t matter if you’re driving, if you’re walking, if you’re watching this, take a moment and tell yourself, I, state your legal name, love every part of me, the good, the bad and the ugly. I accept my faults. I accept my beauty. I accept all parts of me. I love me, and I am worthy. Take a nice deep breath in and own that new truth.
You are amazing, my friends. I hope you enjoyed today’s episode. I look forward to seeing you in the next one. Please make sure you like and subscribe.
