You are in charge of yourself.
No one else is in charge of you.
And you might be thinking, “Amy… duh.”
But this is important.
Sometimes we give our power to other people instead of learning to regulate your nervous system when life feels uncertain.
Or to circumstances.
We wait for someone to help.
To save.
To support.
Or we stay in the story so we don’t have to change.
Because change requires us to show up in a completely different way.
🔒 The Stories That Keep Us Safe
There are so many stories and mechanisms we use to keep ourselves safe.
Parts of us are terrified of change and what taking responsibility for your life might actually demand from us.
Terrified of being seen.
Terrified of success.
Terrified of worthiness.
Because if we step into that… someone might ____.
Fill in the blank.
Whatever your reason is, it’s important to pop the illusion driving the reaction.
And please note, most of this is subconscious.
Even when we’re aware it’s happening, there are patterns wired into the nervous system that fire automatically.
⚠️ A Nervous System on Alert
For a long time, whenever someone in authority asked to speak to me, I assumed I was in trouble.
I wasn’t consciously thinking that.
But my nervous system would sound the alarm, and my subconscious fears would rise.
My stomach would drop.
My body would brace.
In my first big girl job, I realized this was happening every time my GM called me into his office.
I finally connected the dots.
Growing up with a severe alcoholic stepdad meant walking on eggshells.
So my nervous system created a strategy: prepare for impact.
That reaction once kept me safe.
But it wasn’t healthy in my adult life.
And the truth was, my GM was kind and never yelled at me.
I was never in trouble.
Once I became aware of the pattern, I was able to break it and start healing self sabotage.
🔍 Awareness Creates Choice
This is so important.
If you want something different, you have to understand how your nervous system reacts to it.
Otherwise, it may quietly block the very reality you’re trying to create.
So here’s what I recommend.
First, get clear on your desire.
Then notice how your body responds to it.
And when I say body, I mean mind, body, and soul.
Do you contract?
Do you light up?
Do you feel fear?
Excitement?
Be honest about taking responsibility for your life brings up for you.
You can’t shift what you refuse to see.
📡 Becoming a Frequency Match
You cannot attract what you are not a frequency match for.
If your nervous system is screaming, “I’m not worthy,” you won’t hold worthiness.
If it believes success equals danger, you won’t sustain success.
You’ll only match what your subconscious is naturally calibrated to.
So tune into your frequency.
When you think about your desire, what is your honest reaction?
Name the fears.
Name the excitement.
The more you acknowledge both, the more you can rewire the response.
Not by suppressing it.
But by working through it.
✨ Clearing the Field
This is where spiritual practices become powerful.
They help clear the reactions stored in the field.
I love tapping into the akashic records.
I love meditation.
I love crystals and light language.
These practices help us move out of stuck frequencies.
They create space.
Because if you’re bottled up with “I’m not worthy,” there’s no room for worthiness to land.
Meditation helps you feel safe in your body and regulate your nervous system by releasing what no longer serves you.
It helps you release what no longer serves you.
Light language and crystalline energy provide consistent vibrational support, supporting taking responsibility for your life by helping you stay grounded and energetically clear.
Crystals hold steady frequencies.
They don’t scan the room and fluctuate.
They anchor.
They stabilize.
They help clear energy that isn’t yours.
They support alignment with spirit.
They are powerful tools for recalibrating your field.
🔥 You Are the Hero
Spiritual practices help you gain control of your reactions and underreactions.
They help you understand vibration.
They help you take aligned action.
But here’s the truth.
No one is coming to rescue you.
You rescue yourself.
You are capable.
You are powerful.
And if you’re here listening, you’re on a spiritual path.
You’re hungry for knowledge.
The question is, what will you do with it?
Taking responsibility for your life is choosing to embody what you already know instead of waiting for permission.
You are here for a reason.
You are meant to serve in a powerful way.
Get your nervous system in check.
Choose yourself.
Again and again.
You are the hero of your story.
And you deserve happiness.

You are in charge of you. No one else is in charge of you. And you might be going, Amy. Like, duh. And while I say that, I want to emphasize something very important. We sometimes give our power away to other people or other circumstances, hoping that someone will come help, save, support, or you stay in story so you don’t have to change because changing then requires you to show up in your life in a completely different way. So many different stories, so many different mechanisms that we use to keep ourselves safe. There’s aspects of our being that that is terrified of change, terrified of putting ourselves out there, terrified of being seen, terrified of success, terrified of worthiness. Because if I do that, someone might, and then you fill in the blank. Whatever that is, whatever reason you have, it’s important to pop the illusions that cause this behavior reaction. And please note, this is a very subconscious behavior. Even if we are conscious that it is happening, there are things wired into the nervous system that causes this behavior. I’ll give you an example. For a really long time, I always thought if someone is in an authority position, if they ask to speak to me, I was going to get in trouble.
I wasn’t even aware that that’s what my nervous system was doing because my nervous system would have all these alarms going off, and I would have this nervous pit in my stomach. And what I realized when I was maybe 21 in my first big girl job, I realized that this was happening because every single time my GM called me into his office, I thought I was in trouble. And I asked my mom one day, Hey, if your boss ever asks you a question, do you think you’re in trouble? And she’s like, thought about it, and she was, Actually, yeah. And then I told her why I think that was. And growing up, my stepdad was severe alcoholic. We walked on eggshells. And so that was a nervous system reaction that my inner child and other aspects of my being created to let me know, Hey, just prepare a brief. And it’s not a healthy habit. And I have broken that habit because I realized early on that not everybody that I speak to in career is going to be yelling at me. That’s just not how that works. My GM was also really super nice, and he never yelled at me.
I was never in trouble. But maybe between the third and fifth time, him doing this, I made that connection. And this is really important. So if you’re wanting something different, we want to have to understand how our nervous system is reacting to it so then you can take charge, so you can be in control because if you’re not aware of how your nervous system is reacting to something or underreacting to something, it may be causing you not to be able to create the reality that you want. And so here’s what I highly recommend doing. One is notice how your body is responding to the desire. So know what your desire is and notice how the body is responding to it. And when I mean body, I’m talking about mind, body, soul. How are you reacting to it? And what can you do differently if it’s not the reaction that’s allowing you to get the results that you want? Because here’s the thing, you can’t attract something you’re not a frequency match for. And so if your nervous system is going haywire, like I’m not worthy of this thing, or I’ll get in trouble if this happens, or you fill in the blank, you are not ever going to be a frequency match.
You’re only going to be a frequency match for the thing that your natural subconscious is naturally responding to. And so if you think that you have to work harder and harder and harder and harder and harder you because that’s what you’re a frequency match for. And so you got to notice what your frequency is holding out. So tune into the body when you think about that desire, how do you naturally react to it? And be honest with yourself. Talk about what fears you have. Talk about what you’re excited about, because the more you actually address what the fears are and the excitement is, the more you can rewire the nervous system to let go of those fears, because you’re not just holding them down, bottling them up. You’re addressing them, and then you can work through them. And this is where number three comes in. And having spiritual practices to clear out those reactions is really helpful. And this is where I love using the Akashic records. This is where I love using meditation or crystals or light language. Different spiritual practices allow us to come out of a frequency that we’re stuck in, and then we can move the energy and then start pulling in the energy that we can hold on to because it has room to come in.
If you’re all bottled up with, I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy, there is no space for actual worthiness. So you got to make the space for the worthiness to come in. And so you can do that by using spiritual practices. One, the Akashic records. Every word, deed, thought from the moment your soul comes into existence, your information is recorded in the Akashic field. It’s like a Google database of your soul. And we can ask for love and guidance and support in any and all areas. We can ask for blind spots. We can ask about our frequency. We can ask about what’s holding me back from attracting this thing, and how can I become a vibrational match for it? What can I do to make space for this desire? All of those questions can be answered inside of the Akashic records. You can also meditate, meaning let go, let go of the junk in your field. Let go, let go. Get safe in your body. Let go, let go. Open up answers to your prayers by sitting in meditation. You also become a frequency match for healing because you’re making space for an open-hearted connection to the universe, God, the divine.
Light language. Light language is a frequency match. So is crystalline energy. So we can work with the crystalline energy. We can work with light language to heal blocks, to get us out of trance, to remove certain frequency codes in our energy field. With a crystal, a crystal has the ability to send out a consistent vibrational match to you and the desire, and it can hold consistency with it. Where just us walking into a room, scanning the room, our energy can go up and down based on all of the data, our brain, our subconscious, our eyes, our ears, our energy is taking in to understand, is there a threat? Is there not a threat? What do I do with all this information? And we’re really good at scanning the room, and then your nervous system will respond to that. And so with the crystalline energy, it can help bring consistent energy. If you have a hard time taking on other people’s energy, the crystalline energy can help It can help you protect your energy field. It can help pull out energy that doesn’t belong to you. Lower vibrational thoughts can help you connect to spirit. So many different things that we can do with crystalline energy.

There’s so many things that we can do with our spiritual practices. I just named a few of my favorite things, but you can do whatever you’re drawn to.
The main thing is understanding vibration, taking action, and most importantly, understanding you’re in control of your own life, and no one’s going to rescue you. You are going to rescue you. You know why? Because you are capable of doing that. And I just know by you listening or watching this that you are down a spiritual path. You’re going down a spiritual path and you’re hungry for knowledge. What are you going to do with that knowledge? That is completely up to you. But you’re here for a reason. You are meant to do great things. You’re meant to serve in a great way. And so trust that you are capable of amazing great things, and you got to get your nervous system in check. And you have to understand you are the hero in your story. You are the person rescuing you. You are the person that gets to decide each and every day, each and every moment, if you’re going to choose you or abandon you. You are my friend, and you deserve happiness.
