In this deeply personal episode, I share the emotional experience of learning that my childhood elementary school was destroyed in a devastating 5-alarm fire. What surprised me most wasn’t just the loss of the building, but the buried grief, trauma, and memories that...
I’ve been on a whirlwind of adventures lately.
I’ll call them adventures because I’ve been doing so many fun things in my business, things I genuinely enjoy.
One of my goals this year was to have more fun.
And I think no matter what you do, whether you run a business, have a career, are a stay-at-home parent, or are caring for someone, you can find ways to bring more fun into it.
I just recently hosted our annual Live Sacred Awakening Akashic Record Retreat.
And this year, it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had at the event.
I know that might sound funny, because I always enjoy every single retreat.
But the contrast between last year and this year was so big—so magnificently different.
In fact, hosting events like this has reminded me of why spiritual awakening retreats are such a powerful way to reconnect with joy, community, and purpose.
🌿 Reflection on Growth and Celebration
Last year, I was grieving.
I had just lost someone I loved, someone I had known for over 20 years.
And a few days later, less than a week later, I went and hosted our retreat.
I showed up.
I did everything I was supposed to do.
But it was a hard thing to process.
This year felt so much lighter.
When you attend annual events, you get to evaluate where you were a year ago compared to where you are now.
The evaluation is not to judge, but to explore and be curious about how far you’ve come or what patterns you’re still working through, including getting over trauma that may have shaped your past experiences.
Have you overcome them?
Where are you now?
What can you do differently to grow, to evolve, and most importantly, to celebrate?
Celebration is one of the most important things we can do for our evolution.
Even small things, like the food coming out on time, are worthy of celebration.
Just showing up is a celebration.
Showing up for yourself is a celebration.
🌸 The Beauty of Retreats
I’ve been hosting this live retreat since 2017, and it has been such a joy to watch it evolve.
To be a part of my students’ evolution is something I can hardly put into words.
It’s an honor to put something like this together and then also get to participate in it.
I love watching students come to their very first retreat and then return the following year.
The growth people experience in spiritual awakening retreats is incredible – it’s like watching someone peel back layers and rediscover their true essence.
Their growth is incredible.
Watching their faces and energy shift over three days is magnificent.
I’m so grateful I get to be part of this journey.
🎬 The Red Carpet Experience
This year, we did something extraordinary.
We hosted the Zero Limits movie Red Carpet Premiere.
I wanted to celebrate this film with my students because in it, I talk about the Akashic Records, community, and one of our intimate retreats.
It was such a special memory and a big deal for our community.
Thursday night, we got to dress up, take photos, and celebrate together; it felt like a gala.
If you’d like to watch the Zero Limits movie, it is premiering on Apple, Prime, and Amazon.
I’ll link the details in the show notes.
✨ Living at Zero Limits
The theme of this retreat was living at zero limits.
I also call it limitless creation or infinite possibilities.
That’s what the Akashic Records are all about—helping us tap into the infinite possibilities available to our souls.
We explored our desires, what we want to manifest, and what holds us back.
And then we did the healing work around those blocks.
We even explored DNA and other fascinating topics.
But the biggest breakthrough I want to share is this: learning to see yourself as beautiful and to take pride in what you’re doing.
💖 Recognizing Your Beauty
Each and every person is beautiful.
We are all unique in our own ways.
Have you told yourself that you are beautiful?
Have you looked in the mirror and said, “I love you. You’re magnificent.”?
If not, I encourage you to try.
At first, it may feel awkward or even painful.
But when you say “I love you” and “you’re beautiful,” you begin to recognize the beauty of your essence and learn how to embrace your natural beauty in every aspect of your life.
It doesn’t matter what others think—it matters what you think.
It doesn’t matter if others are proud of you. It matters if you are proud of yourself.
Even showing up for yourself is something to be proud of.
Breaking trauma responses, setting boundaries, and no longer people-pleasing are huge accomplishments.
Even 1% progress makes a magnificent difference.
Only you can reparent yourself back to wholeness.
Yes, the community can support you.
But unless you allow yourself to receive love, it will remain outside your door.
The moment you open the door and let love in, you transform your experience.
You are worthy of that love.
You are worthy of that recognition.
🌟 Worthiness and Infinite Possibilities
If we want to live at Zero Limits, we must look at worthiness.
Worthiness is often tied to trauma responses and unconscious expectations.
Sometimes, because of past disappointments, we unconsciously expect things to go wrong.
That expectation creates a ceiling on what we allow ourselves to receive.
But when we shift our patterns, our values, and our responses, we open to new experiences.
We create a new relationship with reality, with ourselves, and with worthiness.
In this process, incorporating spiritual goal setting can help you identify what truly matters and guide your next steps with clarity.
So if you are preparing for the end of this year or dreaming into the next, reflect on worthiness.
You are worthy.
You are capable of releasing old expectations.
You are capable of receiving more than you’ve ever imagined.
You are capable of creating the reality you truly love and desire.
With love and blessings,

Hey, Amy Robeson here. Thank you for joining me on this podcast where we talk about spirituality, the awakening process, mental health, and so much more. Join me weekly to get your weekly dose of spirituality and medicine. I look forward to seeing you on the inside. Hello, and welcome to today’s episode. I’m so excited you are here. Man, I’ve been on a whirlwind of adventures lately, and I’ll call them adventures because I’ve just been doing so many fun things in my business and things that I thoroughly enjoy doing. And one of my goals this year was to have more fun. And I think that when we’re working, if you have a business, if you have a career, or even if you’re a stay-at-home mom or stay-at-home dad, or even caretaking, doing whatever it is that you are doing, I think you can have more fun doing it. And I just recently hosted our annual Live Sacred Awakening, Akashic Record Retreat. And this year, this event was probably the most fun I’ve had at the event itself. And I know it sounds silly because I have fun at every single live retreat. But the contrast between last year and this year was so big, so magnificently different.
And last year, I was grieving. I just lost someone that I love that I’ve known for over 20 years in my life. And a few days later, less than a week later, I went and hosted our retreat. I showed up. I did everything I was supposed to do. But that was a hard thing to process. And so this year, it just felt so much lighter. And I find that when you do annual events or you go to an annual event, you get a chance to have an opportunity to evaluate where you were at a year ago compared to where you’re at in this moment. And the evaluation is not to judge, but to explore and to be curious how far I’ve or what patterns am I still working on that I was working on last time? Or have I overcome those patterns? And where am I at now? And what can I do differently to grow? And how can I evolve? And how can I celebrate? And I think that celebration is one of the most important things that we can do in our evolution and in our experience, even if it’s just something small, like the food got out on time.
There’s all sorts of fun things that we can celebrate, and it doesn’t have to be these grandiose things. And just showing up is a celebration. Showing up for yourself is a celebration. I’ve been hosting this live retreat since 2017, and it’s been so fun to watch this event evolve, to be a part of the evolution of to watch my students evolve. And it’s just… I can’t even put it into words. It’s just so magnificently… Let me say that again. It’s such an honor to be able to put something like this together and then also participated in. I love watching my students come into their first live retreat. Oftentimes, this is the first one they’ve ever gone to, unless they’re a repeat student that have gone to it, and then have them come back the next year or the following year or wherever their journey is taking them and how much they have grown. And just watching their faces and their energy evolve over three days is such a magnificent experience, and it’s such an honor that I get to be a part of it, and I’m so grateful for it. So today, what I want to do is talk about what was the big topic, what was the big theme, things that I found curious or big breakthroughs.
So I’m going to share that like I normally do with any event that I host because I think it’s fun, and I hope you get something out of it. So first, let’s talk about the big thing. This was the first time we were doing something extraordinary that was not the norm, and that was we got to do the zero limits movie, Red Carpet Premiere. I put the premiere on for my students because it’s what I’m talking about in the movie. I’m talking about the Akashic Records. I’m talking about community. I got to host in the movie, showcase one of our intimate retreats. And it’s such a special memory, and it’s such a big deal for our community that I wanted to put this event on. So Thursday night, we got to do the red carpet. It was so much fun. And it was so fun. It felt like we were dressing up for prom or dressing up for a big gala. And I’m so grateful. So that was a lot of fun. Anybody that came, thank you. It was amazing. And if you want to watch the Zero Limits movie, it is going to be premiering on Apple and September 25th.
So by the time you listen or watch this, it is available for you to go and watch on Apple and Prime or Amazon, however you say it. Or you can go directly to the movie’s website, and I will link that in the show notes as well. So what do you think the Sacred Awakening theme of the retreat was? To honor the movie, we talked about and we explored what it was like to live at zero limits. I also like to call this with limitless creation. I also like to call this infinite possibilities because that’s what the Akashic Records is all about. It’s all about assisting you and tapping in to the infinite possibilities that your soul has available to you. And so we got to explore and play in the records and explore this topic and explore our desires and explore what we want to manifest and what’s holding us back from manifesting these particular dreams and desires and then healing them. And then we also explored DNA and so many other things. But the one big thing that I want to share that I found to be a huge breakthrough for myself many years ago that actually got brought up in conversation at this one was this ability to view yourself as beautiful and to take pride in what you are doing.
And if I were to sum up the entire event, if I were to go, this is the biggest breakthrough, I would say it’s that. That each and every person I think is beautiful. We are unique in our own unique ways. And the question that I have for you is, have you told yourself you are beautiful? Have you looked in the mirror and said, I love you. You’re beautiful. You’re magnificent. Because if you haven’t, if you’ve never done this before, I encourage you to actually do this. It can be super gut-wrenching to do at first. It can be really challenging to do at first. For some people, it’s really easy to do, and others, it’s really hard. And I’m going to tell you this, if you can tell yourself, even if it’s not in the mirror, if you can tell yourself, I love you, you’re beautiful, you are going to start recognizing the beauty within your essence, the beauty in what you gift the world, the beauty in what you gift yourself. It doesn’t matter what other people think. It matters what you think. It matters how you perceive yourself. And it doesn’t matter if someone else is proud of you.
It matters if you’re proud of yourself, you’re proud of your actions, you’re proud of what it is that you’re doing. And if you’re not proud of that, What is one thing that you can be proud of? And it’s not this grandiose pride and look at me, I’m so much better than you. It’s not about that. It’s about looking at how you show up, looking at what you’re doing to be of service to yourself and to others. Because I’m telling you, being proud of yourself or showing up for yourself is a huge accomplishment. So many people are people-pleasers. So many people are pushovers. So many people posture. So many people have trauma responses. And so when you actually take the time to show up for yourself and be proud that you showed up for yourself, be proud that you put boundaries up, be proud that you’re not people-pleasing. Be proud that you’re taking steps to break trauma responses or to break patterns or habits or behaviors that aren’t serving you anymore. Even if you’re doing it one %, it is making magnificent, and you should be proud of your sofa doing it because no one else can reparent yourself back to wholeness except for you the way that you can do it.
Yes, we can have friends, we can have circles, we can have groups and peers and community that hold us up, that love us. But if we’re not actually able to receive that love back and to perceive it for ourselves, it’s only going to lay at your doorstep until you allow it to come in. And the only way to allow it to come in is for you to actually gift yourself. I’m opening the door. I’m opening this love up to myself because I deserve it and I’m worthy of that experience. And it is so powerful. It is so so powerful. You can do mirror work. You can look in the mirror, you can talk to yourself to start. If that feels too hard, you can do it in meditation where you are just saying, I love you. You’re amazing. Use your Use your name. Use the name that you like to use for yourself. Use your name and say it to your inner child. Say it to yourself. And then one day you’ll be able to do it in the mirror as well. It’s going to feel awkward, it’s going to feel awkward. It’s going to feel weird.
And you might have some guilt and shame that comes up. But that guilt and shame is coming up so you can heal it, you can forgive it, you can let go of it. And most importantly, you can open the door up to reparenting yourself back to wholeness because it’s your responsibility. It is your responsibility It is your responsibility to show up for yourself. It is your responsibility to love yourself. It is your responsibility for you to create the reality that you want. And if you sit in guilt and shame, if you sit in unworthiness, you will continue to have the same results or some version of those results. So the question is, can you gift yourself this opportunity to recognize your beauty, recognize your amazing self? And then also, can you give yourself the ability to start recognizing that you are worthy of such love, you are worthy of such recognition, and you are worthy of the things that you truly desire, and that when you give yourself permission to actually go for it and love yourself, new doors open up. It’s the question I have for you because you are worthy, my friend. So the next part, the next part that I want to talk about that I already started touching on is worthiness.
If we want to live at zero limits, if we want to tap into infinite possibilities, we have to look out where our worthiness lies and what is it that’s holding us back from accepting that we are worthy to receive, accepting our next level worthiness, going for the thing that you truly want, not the thing that you’re settling for, but the thing that you truly want, desire, and wish to have. Worthiness is such a huge topic that comes up in our community over and over and over again. I think worthiness is an interesting thing to study, an interesting thing to look at, an interesting thing to be curious about throughout our everyday lives. I think that when it comes to trauma responses, worthiness is wrapped up in those trauma responses, and it’s such an unconscious thing that can be happening that we don’t even recognize that this is what I’m expecting because I’ve always received it. And so there’s a ceiling that you’re putting on your worthiness because there’s an expectation of what you’ve always received or what you’ve always expected. And I’ll give you an example of what I mean by that. So if people always disappoint you during big big events.
So let’s just say every time there’s a big event in your life and people always disappoint you, maybe they disappoint you or there’s some drama or there’s some embarrassment, what are you going to expect any time you have a big event, that that’s going to happen. So if we look at, okay, I, on a subconscious level, showing up to this big event, don’t feel worthy enough to actually have things go exactly beautifully well because I’m so used to the drama or the chaos or whatever it is that you’re used to when big events happen, that there is some level on a subconscious level that you’re saying, I’m not worthy to have a better experience. And there’s a lot of things that are wrapped up in there. I’m just putting it very, very, very, very simply. And so when we’re looking at what you’re used to getting, are you putting a ceiling on what is actually possible for you to receive versus what you’ve always expected? Trauma responses can stifle. They can dramatically change our perception of reality because we’re so programmed to respond in a certain way in certain situations that determine our level of worth.
And so if you start working on your trauma responses, your patterns, your belief systems, your values, you’ll start changing the way you perceive your reality. You’ll start changing your expectations on different events, events or different experiences so that you can have a different experience than what you’re used to receiving, then what you’re used to or expecting to have. And this changes your relationship with yourself, and your relationship with others, and your relationship with your worth. And I think that that is such an amazing thing to sit with and to explore. So if you’re wanting to go to the next level, if you’re wanting to manifest something before the end of the year, or you’re getting ready to start looking at your dreams for next year because this is the time to start doing that, I want you to start looking at your worth because you are worthy and you’re capable of releasing old expectations releasing old trauma responses so that you can create the reality that you truly love and desire. Thank you so much for joining me today. If you’ve enjoyed this, please share it with a friend. Also, if you’re wanting to explore the Akashic Records more, please join us in Sacred Awakening.
