Wherever you are on your path, this is going to be a fun episode.
I’m sharing 10 crystals that I consider foundational stones, I believe are incredibly supportive for your spiritual journey, and great to have in your energetic toolkit.
These are crystals I’ve personally worked with and gravitated toward early on.
They’ve stuck with me over the years.
Of course, you might have your own foundational stones—and that’s beautiful.
The most important thing is listening to what calls to you.
Crystals are living energies.
They meet you where you are.
Crystals for healing come in many forms, and these foundational stones are some of the best places to start.
Let’s begin with Amethyst.
This is a stone many people are drawn to right away.
For me, it wasn’t the first, but it quickly became a favorite.
Amethyst connects you to your upper chakras and spiritual realms.
It’s a psychic activator and a protector.
It clears your auric field, helps with energetic boundaries, and brings a sense of deep inner knowing.
I love how it feels both powerful and gentle, which makes it a go-to for daily support.
Amethyst is one of the most popular crystals for healing spiritual energy and strengthening your inner voice.
Next is Lepidolite, also known as Purple Mica.
This stone is pure calm.
It works directly with the nervous system, offering peace during emotional or energetic turbulence.
I was first drawn to it early in my journey, but its true impact showed up when I was pregnant and on bed rest.
I’d place it on my heart, and it felt like the deepest exhale.
Lepidolite brings emotional reset and grounding through the heart.
It’s a beautiful ally for healing, soothing, and returning to center.
Among the crystals for healing emotional pain, Lepidolite is incredibly effective for deep emotional regulation.
Now let’s talk grounding.
Smoky Quartz is sacred when it comes to anchoring your energy.
It connects you to the Earth and holds a deep resonance with Mother Nature.
Smoky Quartz is the stone I turn to when I need to stay rooted while still exploring higher consciousness.
It keeps you present in your body, which is so important for spiritual integration.
It also supports manifestation from a grounded, intentional space.
When considering what crystals are good for healing and grounding, Smoky Quartz is a must-have.
For protection, Black Tourmaline is unmatched.
I keep pieces all around my home—by the TV, computer, Wi-Fi router—because it shields from energetic interference and EMFs.
It’s a strong, steady presence, like a mama bear that creates a force field around you.
To me, it’s a guardian stone.
It helps clear unwanted energy and keeps you in a space of clarity and strength.
When people ask what crystals are good for healing a space from negative energy, Black Tourmaline tops the list.
Let’s shift into love energy.
Rose Quartz is one of the sweetest stones you can work with.
It supports self-love, compassion, and divine connection.
This is the stone that reminds you you’re held, loved, and worthy—always.
If I’m ever feeling disconnected or low, Rose Quartz helps me remember who I am.
It feels like a hug from the universe.
Crystals for healing the heart chakra start here—with Rose Quartz and its unconditional energy.
Malachite brings heart healing in a different way.
This is a transformation stone.
If you’ve been guarding your heart, Malachite helps dissolve the walls and move you through deep healing.
Its energy is strong, sometimes intense, but so necessary for growth.
I’ve watched this stone literally change color through use—absorbing and shifting energy.
The green in Malachite aligns with the heart chakra and brings a powerful connection to divine will through the heart space.
Just a quick note: don’t put Malachite in water.
It’s toxic in liquid form.

Citrine is pure sunshine.

The one I’m showing today is common Citrine, which is actually heat-treated Amethyst.

It’s a fire element stone with a sweet, steady warmth.
Citrine is one of the most energizing crystals for healing self-doubt and boosting clarity.
Labradorite is the stone of magic.
I remember the first time I saw it—I was mesmerized.
The flashes of color, the energy, everything about it pulled me in.
Labradorite connects to the upper chakras and helps awaken your intuition.
It’s a protector, too, clearing your field while amplifying your spiritual vision.
The different flashes in Labradorite—blues, purples, golds—each carry their own resonance.
It’s an alchemy stone, powerful for transformation and intuitive awakening.
As one of the top crystals for spiritual journey expansion, Labradorite helps unlock your inner mystic.
Selenite is an absolute must.
I believe everyone needs at least one Selenite stick.
It acts like a million strands of light moving through your body.
It clears, protects, balances, and uplifts your energy.
Selenite is especially powerful for meditation, chakra alignment, and transmuting lower frequencies.
It’s gentle, high vibrational, and so easy to work with.
I use it daily to keep my energy clean and clear.
Then there’s Clear Quartz.
This is the most programmable stone out there.
You can charge it with any intention or energy you want to work with.
It amplifies whatever it’s near—your thoughts, your other crystals, your space.
It’s what powers so much of our tech world, and for good reason.
If you’re only going to invest in one crystal, let it be Clear Quartz.
It can be anything you need it to be.

And finally, Sodalite.
I went back and forth on whether to include this or Optical Calcite, which is also incredibly powerful.
But Sodalite was one of the first stones I connected with when my third eye started to awaken.
It helps clear the mental fog and brings clarity to your inner vision.
Sodalite works with the third eye chakra, helping you see truth, awaken spiritually, and tap into your deeper knowing.
It comes in various indigo shades, some with white or black mixed in.
It’s a great stone for intuitive development.
Crystals for healing the third eye and mental clarity don’t get much better than Sodalite.
It’s a favorite for those looking to open your third eye chakra and trust their inner wisdom
So out of all these crystals—Smoky Quartz, Black Tourmaline, Amethyst, Lepidolite, Citrine, Clear Quartz, Malachite, Rose Quartz, Labradorite, Sodalite, and even Optical Calcite—ask yourself: which one is calling to you right now?
Crystals are little light beings.
They carry the elements, just like you.
Some are more earthy, others more fiery, watery, or airy.
When we balance these elemental energies within ourselves, crystals can help us attract what we’re ready for and release what no longer serves.

We are doing something sparkly, shiny, Me. High vibe today, which I’m super excited about. We are talking about crystals. Maybe you’re like, what’s the hype? I don’t get crystals. Or maybe you’re like, I love crystals. I can’t get enough. Whatever camp you are in, or maybe you’re in the middle camp of like, I like them, but I just don’t know much about them. I thought today would be a fun day to talk about 10 crystals that I believe are so important to have on your spiritual journey, so important to have as a foundation in your toolkit of crystals. Now, these are all crystals that are, my opinion, foundational crystals. You may find crystals that you find more foundational, and that’s okay, too. The main thing is whatever speaks to you at the moment is the crystal that’s for you. And some of these, I find, are core crystals in in my toolkit that I like to work with.
These are ones that I first gravitated towards in the beginning. Now, I gravitate towards a lot of different type of crystals. So these are not the only crystals I work with. These are just foundational crystals that I think are super cool and have deep spiritual meaning to me, and I’m just really excited to share them. So let’s first start off with one of the core ones, which is Amathist. Amathist is usually the first stone people are attracted to. This was not my first stone I was attracted to, but most people are attracted to this first. Some people are not. Amathist comes in different hues and different colors. I love Amathis. I think Amathis is amazing and powerful because it wakes up your psychic centers. It is also a stone that acts as a psychic vacuum. It will clear out psychic attacks in your auric field. It will protect you. But most importantly, it’s connecting you to spiritual realms and connecting you to your upper chakras. And it is powerful. It is magnificent. And I think it has a really sweet yet powerful energy that can support you on your spiritual journey. Now, the next one is also in the purple category.
This is a very deep, dark lapidolite. Also, known as Purple Mica. This is probably one of my most favorite calming stones. And it’s a calming stone because it literally calms the nervous system. It brings you into peace. And on your spiritual journey, there’s going to be turbulence, there’s going to be doubt, there’s going to be questioning, and you always want to come back to calm. You always want to come back to center. This stone, I didn’t realize the power of this stone until I was pregnant. And so I was very attracted to it in the beginning of my spiritual journey, but I didn’t really understand its power and how to fully work with this particular crystal until I was pregnant. When I was pregnant, I was on bed rest, and so I spent a lot of time laying down. And this is one of the most amazing heartstones to just put on your heart space, to put on your heart center, and it will calm you down. It’s like a big hug to your nervous system, and I love it. It comes in lavenders. It comes in deep dark purples. It just depends on what quality you’re getting.
But lapidolite, lapidolite is amazing. It’s also an emotional reset button. So if you’re having emotional turbulence and you’re wanting to do some emotional healing, so working with your emotional body, this is the for you, lapidolite. Let’s talk about grounding and anchoring and moving into your anchor and into your center. Smoky Quartz is sacred grounding. It energetically connects you to mother earth. It brings you into earth residence, and it creates this really powerful grounding cord for you so you can explore higher realms, higher levels of consciousness while still being anchored in Earth. We are having a human experience, and so we want to have a sacred connection to Mother Earth, and we want to be super grounded while having some really high vibe energies move through us and assist us in navigating things. I think this is a really powerful manifesting stone as well, because when you’re doing it from a place of groundedness, rootedness, You’re more likely to achieve your dreams and goals. And smoky quartz is one of the best. Speaking of grounding, one of my other favorite grounding stones, but mainly for protection is black tourmaline. I love me some black tourmaline. I have black tourmaline everywhere in my house.
This is a shield, a protector. It pulls out its mighty guns, and it’s going to protect you, my friend. Really, really protect you, not only from energetics, but from EMFs as well. I have these next to our TVs. I have them next to my computer. I have them next to the WiFi router, all of that. And it’s a super powerful stone. It sends off such strong protection. And for me, For me, it’s more like a mama bear stone. She comes in and she’s like, What you doing? You’re not allowed here. You’re not welcome here. And she puts up a force field around you that’s going to help you. And in so many different ways. And I think that the color for the black is such beautiful groundedness as well. So black tourmaline. Let’s talk about love, love and Compassion. Rosequartz. It’s a sweet, beautiful stone. It’s the Stone of Divinity and Love and Self-Compassion. Rosequartz is all about assisting you and recognizing that you are loved, and you are always loved, and you are loved unconditionally. And so they’re wanting you to bring that back in. And so rose quartz, rose quartz. I love rose quartz, especially if I’m feeling down or if I’m forgetting who I am, coming back to that unconditional love is like a sweet hug from the universe.
I love it. It’s so sweet. All right, next one. We’ll do another Heart Stone, right? Melikite. Melikite is a deeply healing Heart Stone. You’ve been protecting your heart? This is going to break through all of that noise. Lots of the noise, lots and lots of the noise. It’s the Stone of Transformation. It’s a transformation queen or king. It’s going to help you transform. It’s going to help you heal your heart. It’s going to help you tap into your divine will in a such a powerful heart-centered way. It’s a true heart chakra healing Stone in terms of the green. A lot of the heartstones have the tendency to be pink, like the rose quartz. But when you look at the heart chakra color, it’s actually green. And this is a green heart chakra. Let me see if I can get it to… Oh, yes. It is a green heart chakra stone. Let me see if I can grab you one more. I love all the banding in malachite. Now, Malachite, you never want to drink with it, meaning And you can make crystal elixirs, and that’s for a different conversation. You want to make sure you never put Malachite in water because it is toxic in water.
So malachite is a really powerful transformation stone. And I had a teacher that would carry this stone around with her, and it turned completely black. When I was first starting off on my spiritual journey, I was obsessed, obsessed with this stone. And it’s really cool to see how the banding will change and how the colors will change based on how much you’re working with this stone. For me, this is just a go-to stone. Citrine. Citrine, citrine. Now, the one that I have in my can is common citrine. I’m showing common citrine on purpose because this is the most recognized type of citrine. Now, there is natural citrine. It has the tendency to be more expensive. This is normally what most people see is the common citrine. Now, common citrine is heat-treated amethyst. It’s still powerful. It actually is a natural clearer, meaning you can put other crystals on the crystal are connected to the crystal to clear them? They are powerful. It’s the Stone of Joy. It’s a manifesting Stone. It’s going to connect you to your Solarplex, and it is going to be like a burst of sunshine for you. It will help you take action.
It will help you take action, and it acts as like a sweet friend. It has fire element energy, but it’s not in your face. It’s not in your face super strong, but it’s sweet and it’s powerful, and I think it’s really balanced. Hey, friend. Did you know that we started a new live Crystal Show? All right, my friends, let’s jump back into the episode. The next one is lavatorite. When I saw this stone for the first time, I was like, What is that?
I want one. Okay, comes in all sorts of different flashes. This one has a really nice high blue flash. I’ve had this stone forever. This is the stone of Magic, Magic, Protection as well. This is going to work with your upper chakra This is going to be a protector. This is going to clear your auric field, but it’s a stone of magic. So when you’re wanting to tap into that magic, you’re wanting to tap into your spiritual wisdom, laboratory is going to be the stone for to do that. It’s an alchemy stone. It is a stone that when you work on the different flashes, because you can have different flashes in terms of purple, pinks, golds, oranges, and blues. So when you’re working with those flashes, so you can see it’s not as flashy here because it has to catch the light. And now this one is really flashy. It’s just the matter of getting the camera to focus on it properly. There we go. It’s so pretty. It’s an intuitive Awakener as well, so it’s going to waken your intuition. Labradorite. You want to work with that one. And then, let’s do this one next.
Celenite. Celenite, Celenite. I think everybody needs a Celenite stick in their life. Celenite. It looks like black tourmaline, but it’s white. It acts as an infinite number of light strands moving through your body. It is a clearer protector. It’s an all-around chakra Balancer. It acts as a million bundles of stage going through your auric field. Celenite is a must-have. If you’re wanting to meditate with it, if you’re If you’re wanting to clear with it, if you’re wanting to balance with it, selenite is going to bring light into the body and transmute negativity, transmute lower vibrational energy. So selenite, selenite, selenite. The next one that we’re going to talk about, and I’m hoping I can get the rainbow to… Let me see if I can see it. I’m hoping I can get the rainbow to show up on here. I think I might be able to. If not, it’s okay. This one. The next one we’re going to talk about is clearquartz. Clearquartz is the most programmable stone. Clearquartz, you can use as any other type of crystal. So you can program it to be any other type of crystal. It is what runs our world.
They use clear quartz in all the computers. This is one the most powerful stones. It amplifies your intentions. It amplifies any other energies that you’re wanting to amplify. It can also be a clear, it can be a protector, it could be anything you want it to be. So it’s a must-have. So if you only want to invest in one stone, invest in clear quartz. This is the stone, and you can invest it in many different shapes. There’s many different clear quartz out there that you can and work with. And we can go down the rabbit hole of all the different cool things that you can find on clear quartz as well. But that’s not for today. That’s for a different day. But this is a really cool stone. Let’s do one more, one more. And that is Soda light. I decided to do Soda light. I’ve gone back and forth between calcite and Soda light. And let’s just show Calcite. This is optical calcite. It looks like clear quartz. Let me see if I can get it to… And if the lighting was cooperating with me. There’s all sorts of cool rainbows in this optical calcite.
The reason why I went back and forth between which ones are foundational is because I think calcite next to clear quartz is one one of the most powerful crystals. But if I was in the beginning of my journey, I didn’t gravitate towards that one first. And Soda Light was one of the first ones that I gravitated towards in terms of my awakening journey and waking up my third eye. And this is just a really powerful stone for that. When you’re on your spiritual journey, it’s really important that your third eye wakes up. It’s really important that all the junk in the third eye gets cleaned out and cleared out. And Sotalight is a really powerful stone for that to do. And I love all the different variations that Sotalight comes in. You can get it that where they’re really super deep indigo. Some have a lot of white in it. So this one that I’m holding has a good level of white in it, but then it has some really dark blues. And sometimes you’ll even find black in Soda Light as well. I think it’s powerful. I love I think it’s amazing. And specifically, if you only need to take one thing away about Soda Light, it’s going to wake up your third eye.
It’s going to wake up your third eye. Out of all these crystals, smoky quartz, black tourmaline, amethyst, Lepidolite, citrine, clear quartz, melechite, rose quartz, labradorite, sotalite, selenite, calcite. Which one of them is calling to you? Which one do you feel wants to work with you on your spiritual journey. Remember, crystals are little light beings that want to support you on your journey. They have all the elements in them just like you do. Some are higher in elements and some are lower in elements. So some have more water, some have more fire, some have the combination of all of them, some are more earthy, some are more airy. We are all those things and so much more. And when we balance the elements in our body and we use the crystalline energy, they can support us in repelling and attracting so many different things.
