We all need community. We all need a safe space to feel loved, accepted, valued and understood. But sometimes fear holds us back from becoming a part of a group that could help us to evolve and experience the soul healing that comes from those who are meant to help us along our journey.

LETTING GO OF THE FEAR OF ACCEPTANCE

A WOW WEEKEND

I just came back from hosting an AMAZING weekend retreat with my Akashic Records practitioner students and wow, what a soul-quenching experience! It was so much fun.

We laughed, learned, cried, and loved on each other in the way a true community is meant to do. As I saw the transformations in each and every person there, the soul healing was incredible! I was once again reminded how important it is to feel seen, heard, and accepted for who we truly are.

I had two main takeaways from this beautiful weekend with my soul tribe and I can’t wait to share those with you!

When you’re in community with like-minded people, you get to grow. You get to soar. You get to be yourself.

TRIBE IS A VIBE

Community is so important. And when you’re in community with like-minded people, you get to grow. You get to soar. You get to be yourself. You get to find your inner voice. You get to experience true soul healing. You get to talk about things you truly love and desire. But sometimes we don’t take advantage of being in community, or we are fearful of being in community because we have a fear of acceptance.

Where does this fear of acceptance come from? It can come from body image, and not necessarily a discomfort with our physical body, but how people perceive our true, authentic self. We fear the judgment of how people see us, even in a group of like-minded people.

But when we have the opportunity to be in community with like-minded people, we have to let go of the fear of being accepted. That means a radical change in self-image and a radical change in the acceptance of giving and receiving. We have to be open to receiving love. We have to be open to giving love. We have to be open to sharing authentically who we are and what we believe in and our core values as well.

When you start to show up in community and express yourself in different ways, you start to learn more about yourself.

SAFETY IN COMMUNITY

During the Sacred Awakening retreat, I have a client tell me, “I feel safe, Amy. I feel really safe now.”

At the beginning of the retreat, she didn’t feel so safe, which is a huge thing. We have to feel safe in our being in order to truly be ourselves. Also, we have to feel safe in our being in order to explore the very thing that we’re wanting to explore and to also explore and heal past traumas. But we also have to feel safe to grow and to change. When we feel safe, we can start making those changes.

Do you feel safe being the true you? Are you exploring how to experience deep soul healing by inviting others into your life to share the journey with you?

Being in community can break the chains that have kept you in the fear cycle for a long time.

BUILD A BRIDGE

You are not defined by your looks. You are not defined by your titles.

You are defined by the very essence of who you choose to be and how you choose to present yourself to others. You are also defined by the judgments that you believe others are bestowing upon you. When you give yourself permission to stretch yourself and give yourself permission to let go of those judgments, to experience the soul healing of being accepted, and to let go of those fears so that you can start redefining how you show up in the world, you’ll start to notice new things about yourself.

You deserve to feel good. You deserve to have great relationships. You deserve to be accepted. You deserve to be loved. And the universe wants to bless you with that. I want to encourage you to start looking at and exploring any blockages, any fears around receiving love, giving love, acceptance, judgment, and comparison. When you start looking at those things, any of those blockages that are keeping you in those places, your walls that are protecting your heart will start to crumble, and those walls will start to break and your heart will start to open and you will start to bridge your inner and outer world.

You deserve to feel good. You deserve to have great relationships. You deserve to be accepted. You deserve to be loved. And the universe wants to bless you with that.

BREAK THE CHAINS

You don’t deserve to be stuck. You can stop imprisoning yourself with all these fears and being in community can help you with that as well.

Being in community can break the chains that have kept you in the fear cycle for a long time. A lot of times our fear of judgment and fear of acceptance is due to the past or it’s a story that we have created in our mind. And that story is what keeps us in prison. Let’s break those chains. Let’s get out of our own way and start loving ourselves in such a way, such a powerful way that you start to feel that love in every cell of your body and being.

Let’s break those chains. Let’s get out of our own way.

YOU DESERVE COMMUNITY

You deserve to be in community, and you deserve to feel safe while you’re in the community. You deserve the soul healing that is found within community. I want to encourage you if you do not have a community where you feel safe to be yourself.

You do not have to be alone. Community is so important. And when you start to show up in community and express yourself in different ways, you actually start to learn more about yourself.

And as you learn more about yourself, those walls break, even more, your heart opens up even more and you start to really tap into a different vibration and frequency that you have available to you.

We have to be open to giving love. We have to be open to sharing authentically who we are and what we believe in and our core values as well.

Full transcription of the episode:

I just got back from hosting an amazing spiritual retreat. I hosted a three-day retreat for our Akashic Records practitioners. It was so much fun. I’ve been looking forward to this because this is the first live retreat since 2019 because we couldn’t do anything during 2020 and everything was still wonky in 2021. And so so was it much fun. And today what I wanted to talk about is my biggest takeaway. I have many takeaways, but I wanted to talk about this big takeaway that I think you might find helpful.

So let’s talk about the big takeaway. And that is two things. One is community is so important. And when you’re in community with like-minded people, you get to grow. You get to soar. You get to be yourself. You get to find your inner voice. You get to talk about things you truly love and desire. But sometimes we don’t take advantage of being in community, or we are fearful of being in community because we have a fear of acceptance.

The fear of acceptance. And this fear of acceptance comes from one, body image, not necessarily physical body, but how people perceive us and how people view us, which is also the fear of judgment as well. And so when we have the opportunity to be in community with like-minded people, we have to let go of the fear of being accepted. That means a radical change in self-image and a radical change in the acceptance of giving and receiving. We have to be open to receiving love. We have to be open to giving love. We have to be open to sharing authentically who we are and what we believe in and our core values as well.

And I find that over the weekend it was fun to watch these beautiful souls, men, and women sharing from a very authentic place their hopes, dreams, and desires. And as they did this, I could see their faces change. I could see their energy changing. I could see them creating long-lasting friendships just because they were willing to let go of any fear of acceptance, any fear of judgment. When I say like, that doesn’t mean that they were like, I have no fear of judgment anymore. I’m sure some of them, especially the type of work that we were doing, some of them still had fear of judgment right in the beginning, but that fear started melting away and melting away and melting away. And the more that they were in community, that fear started to loosen up.

And I had a client at the retreat who said, I feel safe, Amy. I feel really safe now. At the beginning of the retreat, she didn’t feel so safe, which is a huge thing. We have to feel safe in our being in order to truly be ourselves. Also, we have to feel safe in our being in order to explore the very thing that we’re wanting to explore. And to also explore past traumas and heal past traumas. But we also have to feel safe to grow and to change. And when we feel safe, we can start making those changes.

You are not defined by your looks. You are not defined by your titles. You are defined by the very essence of who you choose to be and how you choose to present yourself to others.
You are also defined by the judgments that you believe others are bestowing upon you. When you give yourself permission to stretch yourself and give yourself permission to let go of those judgments, let go of those fears so that you can start redefining how you show up in the world, you’ll start to notice new things about yourself.

And when you start to bridge your inner and outer world, you start to see the very omnipresence which is God or the universe, whatever sacred title you give, that energy, dwells within you and you are not separate from it. Everything has a Yin and a Yin. We can hold multiple perspectives and still hold the energy of love. You deserve to be in community, and you deserve to feel safe while you’re in community. I want to encourage you if you do not have a community where that you feel safe to be yourself, join some communities online. You might be local and you’re like, “I don’t know anybody local that believes in these things.” And you might feel like you’re a lone soldier on an island to yourself. You do not have to be alone. Community is so important. And when you start to show up in community and express yourself in different ways, you actually start to learn more about yourself. And as you learn more about yourself, those walls break even more, your heart opens up even more and you start to really tap into a different vibration and frequency that you have available to you.

Everything is energy. And the more that we allow that frequency to rise, the more that we start attracting the things in our lives that we truly want to have. And these are not necessarily all material things. Its love and joy, peace, compassion, safety, and safety is a huge thing. I know for me, I didn’t feel safe for a long time, I didn’t feel safe to talk about the things that I was interested in. I didn’t feel safe to talk about my trauma. I didn’t feel safe to share something that I was displeased about. And the more that I worked on self-acceptance, I am really feeling this way, I do feel judged, that honesty allows me to free the junk from my cells that are keeping me stuck.

I accept you. Do you accept you? Accepting yourself is so important. Finding a community is so important. Letting go of those fears is so important. I want to encourage you to look in the mirror every single day. This might be a very hard exercise on what I’m going to share with you. One of the ways that I think that we can start accepting ourselves is looking in the mirror every single day and saying, “I accept you. I love you. I appreciate you. We got this.” Your talk is huge. So if you’re wanting a little more self-love, you want to let go of those fears. Obviously, examine the blocks. Start working on the blocks. Do your spiritual practices but do mirror work as well. You are a beautiful soul, and you deserve to be accepted

One more thing. If you are like, “Amy, I do not have a community.” Find a community. There are people out there that think like you, that would love to hang out with you. We are meant to be in tribes. We are meant to grow together and we have many like-minded people out there that believe in similar things that will accept you for who you are. Trust me, they will. There’s many people out there.

I’m sending you a big hug. I hope you enjoyed today’s episode. Make sure that you like and subscribe. It makes a world of a difference in growing our community and being supported so you don’t feel alone and share it with a friend if you think that this would be helpful. I’m sending you lots and lots of love and I will talk to you soon. Bye.
