I recently came back from hosting our live Akashic Record Retreat in sunny San Diego, part of a program I call Sacred Awakening.
As an Akashic Record Master Teacher, there’s nothing I love more than guiding others in accessing the deep wisdom of their soul.
Teaching people how to connect with their Akashic Records gives them a transformative way to uncover information that helps their soul on its journey of self-discovery, growth, and evolution.
It’s incredibly fulfilling to show people how to ask questions on demand to the guardians of their Akashic Records, revealing insights that offer so much clarity and support.
Each retreat brings its own set of revelations—aha moments and shared experiences that unite us as a community.
With each gathering, I see powerful themes emerge, reminding me how life-changing these events are.
It made me realize that community truly is everything.
Every time we meet, I feel so deeply that those who were meant to be there were there, and those who couldn’t make it were exactly where they were meant to be.
👨👩👧👦 Importance of Community and Group Healing
When we gather as a group of beautiful souls, there’s a unique chance not only to work on the healing that each of us is meant to undergo individually but also to contribute to collective healing.
Every retreat, we find ourselves drawn into a shared healing that resonates with the local environment—whether it’s the city, nature, or the ocean.
This year, we focused our energy on clearing a lot within the city itself, and it was such an honor to be part of that. The experience was deeply fulfilling and meaningful on so many levels.
Connecting face-to-face is something I cherish.
There’s a special kind of magic when we see each other in person instead of just being “floating heads” on a screen.
It brings a different, deeper sense of connection.
For me, I absolutely love this, but it’s even more moving when someone is attending their very first retreat.
Witnessing them embrace this experience is amazing, and it’s always a privilege to be part of it.
One of my big takeaways? I love being on the ground in person, and I miss that when it’s not there.
🔮 The Unique Experience of Underground Retreats
Here’s a fun little detail about our retreat space this year—it was underground, on the basement level.
Being a Midwest girl, basements are second nature to me.
But after moving to the South and then the West Coast, I noticed that basements just aren’t a thing in those regions.
There’s something deeply grounding about being in a basement, though.
It felt like we were being held close, cradled in Mother Earth’s arms.
The whole atmosphere was grounding and nurturing in such a beautiful way, and I loved every moment of it.
For those who haven’t spent much time in a basement, you should check out spaces that have them—they really do offer a different kind of grounding energy.
In fact, I realized that my body responds to that grounding in such a positive way.
I do have a partial basement at home, but I don’t spend a lot of time there.
So this retreat reminded me of how much I love that sensation of being held by the earth.
Another big takeaway was our retreat’s theme.
Each retreat naturally develops its own focus, and this one centered on courage, confidence, curiosity, and clarity.
There was so much richness to it, and I was honored to see everyone dive into these themes with open hearts.
🌈 Courage, Confidence, and Curiosity
At first glance, courage and confidence might sound like simple, even generic, themes.
But these qualities are far from basic—they’re essential, deeply woven into every aspect of our lives.
Courage and confidence are required if we’re going to show up fully, whether it’s for our spiritual growth, our health, our relationships, family, career, finances, or simply for the joy of life.
Without the courage and confidence to step up, it becomes nearly impossible to live in alignment with our highest potential.
Owning our power in a way that serves both our highest good and the good of those around us is transformative.
When the guardians of the Akashic Records brought forward this theme, I initially wondered if it was too simple.
But I quickly realized how much depth there is to it.
This is a complex topic that goes beyond surface-level confidence—it requires us to consistently check in with ourselves.
Where are we with our courage? Are we truly owning our power?
This theme was a beautiful reminder to stay curious, to gauge where we are, and to allow ourselves to step into our power with humility and grace.
But embracing courage and confidence also means checking in with our self-worth and how fulfilled we are.
🪞 Depth in Simplicity and Self-Reflection
My big takeaway from this retreat is that even if a topic seems simple, it doesn’t make it any less profound.
Simplicity doesn’t limit us from going deeper; in fact, the depth we reach is entirely up to each person.
As someone who shows up to teach and loves diving into meaningful topics, this rule applies to me as much as to anyone else.
I know that if I don’t go deep, I’m not honoring myself.
Simplicity doesn’t mean we won’t explore at great depths.
Depth is truly in the eye of the beholder, in the soul willing to journey there.
Your soul craves depth.
To reach that depth, we need the heart, courage, and confidence to explore places we haven’t looked before or to revisit areas where we’ve uncovered something but know there’s another layer waiting.
It’s about having the willingness to peel back infinite layers, to show up in the truest way possible. That’s how we honor ourselves and embrace our purpose fully.
💎 Rediscovering Crystalline Energy and Grids
Another big takeaway from this retreat was rediscovering my connection with crystalline energy.
I used to talk about it a lot—its depth, how I infused it into everything I did and the beauty it brought to those practices.
And while I still work with crystalline energy, somewhere along the way, I stopped sharing it in the same way. I’m not even sure why.
Sometimes we just step away from certain things without realizing it, only to have them resurface later, ready to be embraced again.
At this retreat, I felt inspired to create beautiful crystal grids once more.
I had so much fun setting these grids up, each one supporting our theme and the energy we were working with.
We’ll be sharing images of these grids here so you can take a look.
Creating them, infusing them with crystalline energy, and remembering how much intention and joy I felt in the process was such a gift.
Working with this energy brought a sense of play and wonder back to my practice, and I’m excited to carry that forward.
It was just so much fun reconnecting with crystal energy.
I’m feeling inspired to talk more about crystals!
It’s funny—people often suggest I teach about them, and I have to laugh because I actually have a course on crystals.
I just rarely promote it!
But I think I’ll do something special with it soon because it feels like the crystals want to be shared.
There’s something truly magical about working with crystals; they’re like little light beings, supporting us in attracting or repelling energies and frequencies to align with our intentions.
When we give a crystal a purpose, it amplifies our intentions, and our manifestations, and even diffuses what’s unnecessary.
Crystal grids work in much the same way.
They support us on specific topics, amplifying frequencies and helping us focus our energy.
I’m excited to talk more about crystals, and to dive back into this realm because, honestly, it’s just so much fun!
Another takeaway from this retreat was about how time seems to be catching up with itself, or maybe with us.
There’s a sense of things aligning, as though the pace of life and the deeper work we’re all doing are meeting up in a new way.
🕒 Perception of Time Speeding Up
Time is speeding up—so, so, so, so fast. This retreat was the fastest one I’ve ever experienced, both hosting and attending.
It felt like I was blinking, and suddenly it was lunchtime.
Blink again, and it’s five o’clock. I’ve never felt time speed up quite like this before, and it’s definitely something I’ll be sitting with.
Maybe I’ll even dedicate an episode to this topic because when time feels like it’s speeding up, it can be unsettling if you’re not prepared.
It can feel strange, even jarring.
Honestly, I could have stayed another three days, just soaking up the retreat experience.
Feeling grounded in the underground space really helped me stay connected to my body amidst the fast pace.
I know that if I hadn’t been so grounded, it might have felt disorienting and draining.
That grounding energy was a huge takeaway.
I don’t think I’ve ever shared this experience before, but it was truly fascinating how quickly time moved.
It’s definitely something that impacts us, and it’s a reminder of the importance of staying present, especially when life’s pace feels like it’s accelerating.
💜 Coping with Grief and Divine Timing
The last takeaway—and while there were many more, this one is the one I’m being guided to share—is the realization that, no matter what is happening, we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.
Just before leaving for the retreat, I lost a family member.
It happened only five days before I left, just six days before the retreat began.
It was incredibly hard, but I felt deeply that I was where I was meant to be.
Showing up for the retreat felt divinely timed, and I have no doubt that my family member who passed knew exactly what he was doing, choosing to leave this world exactly when he did.
This experience has inspired me to dedicate an upcoming episode to grief, which I hold close to my heart.
Grief is such a profound part of the human journey, filled with complexities that we all experience in different ways.
Even though I was grieving, I could recognize the stage I was in, and I knew I was meant to be at the retreat.
Hosting it was incredibly healing for me, offering a space where I could hold my grief and still be present. It reminded me of how everything truly aligns in divine timing, even in moments of loss.
✨ Future Retreats and Participation
And now, I get to process everything outside of the retreat, exactly as I’m meant to.
Those are my takeaways!
If you’ve never been to a retreat, I highly recommend it.
Finding a guide you trust and truly want to spend time with is key to the experience.
If you’re thinking about joining one, we’ll be hosting the next Sacred Awakening retreat next year, open to our Sacred Awakening students
I can’t wait to see the magic unfold again!
In addition, I’m also hosting an intimate retreat next year for a smaller group, and it’s already completely sold out, which still amazes me!
If you’re interested in joining a future retreat, feel free to check theamyrobeson.com for more details about Sacred Awakening.
Our retreats are generally reserved for Sacred Awakening students, with one larger retreat and a smaller one on the schedule for next year.
I’m also considering bringing back a retreat that would be open to everyone.
It’s something I’ve offered before, and I’m playing with the idea of doing it again.
So, stay tuned—there may be something on the horizon!
With love and blessings,
Amy Robeson

Hey, Amy Robeson here. Thank you for joining me on this podcast where we talk about spirituality, the awakening process, mental health, and so much more. Join me weekly to get your weekly dose of spirituality and medicine. I look forward to seeing you on the inside. Hello, everyone, and welcome to today’s episode. I’m so excited you are here. I recently came back from our live Akashic Record Retreat. I hosted it in San Diego, and it’s for a program called Sacred Awakening. I’m an Akashic Record Master Teacher, and One of the things that I love to do is teach people how to access their soul’s information, information that can assist their soul in having a self-discovery, evolving, and being able to ask questions on demand to the guardians of their Akashic records. And so anytime we do these live retreats, there are always big ahas and also just themes that come up. And I thought it would be fun to do an episode on this. And one of the big things that’s always a big takeaway, no matter what I’m doing when it comes to life, is that community is everything. That who was meant to be there was there, and who was not was meant to be exactly where they were as well.
And when we get together as a group of beautiful souls, we have the opportunity to not only assist in healing what we’re meant to heal individually, but we get to assist with healing on a collective level as well. And so we always end up doing this really beautiful group healing that has to do with something with the city or the nature of the ocean or something like that. And this year, we ended up clearing a lot of stuff within the city itself. And so it was really, really neat to do that. And it was such an honor. And I always get so much joy out of meeting people in person because there’s something magical when you get to actually see someone face to face and not just be a floating head on the screen. And you get just a different different sense of connection as well. And for me, I absolutely love this, but sometimes this is the first time that someone’s ever come to a retreat. And so it’s such an honor to witness and see that. And it’s pretty amazing. So one of my other takeaways is that I love being underground, and I miss that.
This is a silly one, but the retreat space that we held was held underground. It was in the basement level. And I’m a Midwest girl, so I grew up with basements, but also moved to the south, also moved to the West Coast, and basements aren’t a thing. And there’s something really grounding about being in a basement. I just absolutely love it. And it felt just like we were being held in Mother Earth’s arms. She was just holding us, and it was so grounding and so beautiful. And I absolutely loved every moment of it. If you don’t know what I’m talking about if you’ve never had a basement before, you’ve never been in a basement, check out places that have basements. I, fortunately, do have a partial basement in my house, but it’s not something I end up spending a lot of time in. So that was something that I realized that I really like my body loves that. And it was just something really beautiful about that. Another big takeaway was our theme for this retreat. Every time we do a retreat, there’s always some different theme. And this one was about courage and confidence and curiosity and clarity and so much more.
And for me, having this topic, it sounds so generic, but it’s not. Our courage and confidence is required in all areas of our life. And if we don’t have the courage and confidence to show up for ourselves, for our spirituality, to show up for ourselves for our health, to show up for ourselves for our relationships, or our family, or our fun, or our money, or wealth, our careers, or our business. It is a requirement. Owning your power and having the confidence to step into your humble power and use that power in a way that serves your highest good and serves the highest good is pretty amazing. And so this one was really… It’s such a simple topic, but it’s so complex. And when the guardians of the Akashic Records were like, This is the topic, I’m like, Are you sure? Because to me, it just felt so simple, but it’s not. It’s so not. And it’s such a complex topic that requires us to check in, to check in where our confidence level is, to check in where our courage is, to have that curiosity, to give ourselves permission to own our power in such a beautiful way.
But this also requires us to check in where our self-worth and where we’re at and how we’re being fulfilled. And so my big takeaway for this, to summarize it, is just because it’s a simple topic doesn’t mean it’s not profound. And just because it’s a simple topic doesn’t mean that we can’t go deeper into it. And the depth in which we go is totally up to that person and that person only. As someone who shows up and teaches and loves to talk about certain things, this rule applies to me and applies to anybody who’s showing up. I want to go deep because I’m dishonoring myself if I don’t. And simple doesn’t mean that it’s not going to go deep. Depth is in the eye of the beholder. Depth is in the soul in which it chooses to go into. Let me say that slightly different because I said that a little funky. Your soul wants depth. And in order to have depth, you have to have the heart, the courage, and the confidence to look where you have not looked before or to go deeper into what you know you’ve uncovered, but there’s another layer to it, and that you’re willing to uncover an infinite number of layers if it means that you are going to really, really show up the way you’re meant to show up.
Show up beautifully, show up beautifully, beautifully, beautifully. Another big takeaway that I had from this retreat is that I used to talk a lot about crystalline energy. I still do. I still talk about it, but I stopped talking about it the way that I used to. And the depth in which I used to talk about it and how I would talk about it and how I would infuse the crystalline energy into things. And I still infuse the crystalline energy into things, but I can still have so much more fun with And so this retreat, I always got it to make some really beautiful grids, and we’ll show those here so you can take a look at them. I used to do this all the time, and I used to emphasize what the grids were for, and why they were for that. And I stopped doing it, and I don’t know why. Sometimes we just stop doing things, and then it comes back into our awareness. And I’m like, I want to bring that back. And so we brought in different grids that supported the topic and the themes. And I had so much fun making these grids working with the crystalline energy and highlighting the crystalline energy.
It was just so much fun. And I really want to actually start talking about crystal stuff more. It’s so funny. People are like, Hey, you should really teach this. I’m like, I actually have a course on crystals. I don’t really ever promote it. And so I think I’m going to do something special on that coming up soon just because the crystals want to be talked about, they want to be shared. And there’s something really magical when we work with crystals because they’re little light beings that want to support us in attracting or repelling certain energies, certain frequencies to support us in whatever area, and whatever manifestation or intention that we have to give that crystal for a job. Grids work the same way as well. They want to support us in a particular topic, and we can do that by working with the crystals, and they amplify the frequency, the intention, the manifestation, the energy, and they diffuse what is not necessary as well. And so I’m going to be talking a lot more about crystals just because I think it’ll be fun That was one of my other takeaways. And another takeaway that I had at this retreat was that time is meeting up.
Time is beating up so fast, so, so, so, so fast. This was the fastest retreat I’ve ever been on. I’ve ever hosted. The time just went so quickly. I’m blinking, and it’s lunchtime. I’m blinking, it’s five o’clock. And I’ve never had time to speed up like that. And so that’s something I’m going to be sitting with. Maybe I’ll do a topic, an episode on time speeding up because it can really… If you’re not expecting it, it can feel really strange or it can feel jarring. It can feel different, it can feel all sorts of different things. I could have stayed for another three more days doing the retreat. So time is definitely speeding up. It feels like it’s speeding up, and it definitely impacts us. For me, with the time feeling like it was moving really quickly, I did love that we were underground, and I felt super grounded and super connected to my body because if I wasn’t super connected to my body, it would have felt really jarring and taxing. And so So that was an interesting takeaway. I don’t think I’ve ever shared that one before. So it was very fascinating to me that the time just went so quickly.
The last takeaway, which there are so many other ones, but this is just the last one I’m being guided to share, is that no matter what is going on, being where we’re meant to be is exactly where we’re meant to be. And I just recently had a family member pass away just five days before I left for the retreat. So one week before I actually started, no, six days before I started hosting the retreat, I had a family member pass away. And so it was really hard, yet I knew that that’s where I was supposed to be. And so showing up was exactly timed divinement for that. And I know that this family member who passed away knew exactly what he was doing when he passed and why he chose to pass exactly when he did. And I’m actually going to do an episode on grief just because this is something that I hold near and dear to my heart. I think grief is a part of the human experience, and it’s a very complicated thing. And I want to do a topic on that. So everything works on divine timing. And even though I was grieving and I could recognize exactly what stage I was in, I was meant to be at the retreat, and I was meant to be hosting it because it was so darn healing for me to have that space to be in that.
And now I get to process it outside of the retreat exactly the way I meant to process it. So, yeah, Those are my takeaways. If you’ve never been to a retreat, I highly recommend it. And you want to find someone that you trust and that you want to spend some time with. If you are looking to come to a retreat sometime, we’ll be hosting the next one again next year. And these are open to our Sacred Awakening students. And so it’s always a lot of fun. And I can’t wait until we host the next one. And then I’m also doing an intimate retreat for a small number of people next year as well. And that one completely sold out, and I’m shocked by it. So I can’t wait. So if you’re interested in a retreat, you can check out my website for more information about Sacred Awakening. These retreats are usually open only to Sacred Awakening students, and I’ll be hosting another one next year. We’re also hosting an intimate retreat next year as well. So we have a bigger one and a smaller one. And I might be bringing out a different retreat. I used to have a retreat that was open to everyone, and I’m playing with the idea if I want to do that again.
So if you’re interested, let me know. I’d love to hear from you. Comment on this podcast or the video. If you’re watching it on YouTube, make sure you subscribe and like this video. I so appreciate you. Share this with a friend, and I will talk to you soon. Take care. Bye.
