I recently had the pleasure of exploring some new insights on the Human Design chart with my guest, Peter Roth.
It was truly fascinating to uncover aspects I didn’t know about before.
Peter also delves into the topic of cards—not tarot or Oracle cards, but playing cards viewed from a spiritual perspective.
As a source cards practitioner, he shares how these cards serve as the original map of the structure of life, highlighting the intriguing differences between tarot and playing cards.
Peter’s journey is equally impressive.
In his early life, he earned a third-degree black belt in karate and co-founded the New York City Marathon.
Now, he resides in New York City with his wife of 43 years and enjoys the company of his two sons and three grandchildren.
He is truly a beautiful soul.
🙏 Peter’s Journey into Spirituality
Peter shared that he absolutely loves his spiritual journey, which, interestingly enough, began the day he was born.
He experienced a near-death experience that required him to be resuscitated, giving him a glimpse of the other side.
He explained that when we’re that close to birth, our awareness is heightened.
There’s a woman named PMH Atwater who wrote a book after researching many adults who had to be resuscitated as children, assuming they all had near-death experiences.
These individuals are unique because they’ve seen the other side.
While they may not remember their near-death experience, it profoundly changes them.
Peter reflects on how it must have changed him, as he has always felt ‘out there.’
When he was 17, his father suddenly passed away, prompting a deep desire to follow his spirit and understand where he went and how he could find him again.
That moment marked the true beginning of his spiritual path.
He went on to study in college, taking courses in Buddhism and various spiritual practices, driven by a need for answers rather than a desire for a career.
I think that’s where it starts for a lot of people.
They just want answers.
Peter continued his journey by studying bodywork, focusing on applied kinesiology for many years.
He became deeply invested in helping others, even finding himself in significant debt due to this commitment.
At one point, he took on a leadership role in a large group that gathered in Central Park every Sunday morning.
This group, consisting of hundreds of people, was drawn together by a charismatic figure who hosted a daily radio show in New York.
Peter recalls that this was back in the ’70s, and he often appeared as a guest on the show, even hosting occasionally when the main host was away.
During these appearances, he found himself debating experts on various topics, often providing answers and engaging in discussions about subjects he was initially unfamiliar with.
He was amazed by his ability to debate with these knowledgeable individuals, not realizing at the time that the information flowing through him was purely intuitive.
Over the years, he connected with scientists and provided them with insights they needed, despite not fully understanding the subjects himself.
It’s neat that they were open and interested in it, too, by receiving it in that way.
Peter explained that those scientists recognized the value of the information he provided.
When he shared insights that he felt they needed, they understood the importance of listening.
He expressed his enthusiasm for being able to contribute in such meaningful ways, highlighting how much he loves being part of this exchange of knowledge.
Peter reflected on his journey of discovery, noting that he often wondered why he seemed to know so much.
In the ’70s, he traveled around the country to write a book about running, deeply entrenched in the running community as one of the co-founders of the New York Marathon.
While researching where to run in 125 American cities, he couldn’t visit all of them but managed to explore quite a few.
Each morning, he would wake up to write another chapter and find that he had an innate knowledge of the cities, unable to explain how it all came together.
He mused that perhaps the information was poured into him while he slept, as people began reaching out to him after the book’s release, asking how he had gathered such detailed insights.
His intuitive abilities didn’t stop there.
Peter had studied bodywork and applied kinesiology, excelling at helping people even without formal licensing.
With a family to care for and unable to go back to school, he decided to embrace his spiritual side and explore this intuitive knowledge.
Remarkably, he discovered that he could read people’s bodies remotely and perform chiropractic adjustments over the phone.
He was in awe of how the universe flooded him with information, constantly questioning how it all worked and where this guidance came from.
In 1997, he started a healing school, which has held weekly classes ever since, except for summer breaks. In the early days,
Peter hosted classes in his living room, often with 20 students in attendance.
Without a set agenda, he would simply ask for guidance and allow the teachings to flow naturally.
He expressed gratitude for the experience, acknowledging that the process was almost surreal.
🌈 Exploring Human Design
As the conversation shifted, Peter touched on the Human Design system.
He pointed out that in this system, I am born to be a leader, designated as a number three, which represents leadership among the six numbers based on Chinese hexagrams.
He highlighted how people recognize my knowledge and are drawn to follow me.
In contrast, he mentioned that he is not a number three or four, which represents mastery and personal connection with students.
Instead, he emphasized the unique aspects of leadership and mastery in spiritual journeys.
I asked Peter to explain what Human Design is for anyone who might not be familiar with it.
He described it as a system that was channeled to a man living in Ibiza, Spain, in 1987.
A voice spoke to him, instructing him to take notes over the course of eight days, delivering a profoundly intricate system.
Peter mentioned that it took him five years to learn how to present it to the public.
Human Design is based on our birth date, time, and place, focusing on the position of planets in the sky.
Unlike traditional astrology, which involves houses and planetary positions, Human Design incorporates the 64 hexagrams of the Chinese I Ching.
When you know your planetary positions, you can identify which hexagrams correspond to you.
Peter elaborated that not only is our birth date important, but also that 88 and a half days before we are born, the unconscious half of our personality begins to take shape.
He explained that this influences how we understand ourselves, essentially functioning between the conscious and unconscious aspects of our being.
I found Human Design to be extremely fascinating and shared my curiosity with Peter.
I asked him about the importance of knowing one’s birth time since many people may not have access to that information.
He explained that understanding our time of birth is crucial because it directly affects the activation of our personality based on where the planets were positioned at that moment.
For those without an exact birth time, he suggested astrological rectification as a solution.
He noted that his wife, an astrologer, is certified in this practice, which involves interviewing individuals about significant milestones in their lives.
This process can help narrow down the exact time of birth, sometimes down to the second, by correlating it with these life landmarks.
It was enlightening to learn that people could potentially uncover their birth time through such methods, even if they lack that information on their birth certificate.
Peter shared his reflections on the concept of free will in relation to Human Design.
He emphasized that the significant landmarks in our lives are established from the moment we are born, which raises questions about the extent of our free will.
While we may feel we are making choices—like proposing to a partner or planning a career—those moments may have been preordained, aligned with the timing in our charts.
Intrigued, I asked Peter about the most fascinating aspects of a Human Design chart compared to what most people tend to focus on.
He expressed a particular interest in the six numbers associated with individuals, mentioning that I would be identified as a leader.
Peter noted that despite not identifying as a leader or master himself, he is a number six, known for his essence of innocence and simple being.
He doesn’t carry an ego about his role; instead, he feels gratitude that others are willing to listen to him.
We discussed how everyone has different numbers, and Peter remarked on the rarity of being a number six.
When he encounters other sixes, he finds joy in helping them understand themselves better, especially since they may struggle with the lack of ego needs that others possess.
Peter also recounted his early involvement in founding the New York City Marathon, where he initially took on a leadership role among other prominent figures.
However, he pointed out that those in higher positions viewed him as a threat due to his popularity and enthusiasm.
Despite this perception, he clarified that he wasn’t born to lead; he simply enjoyed what he was doing.
He described himself as a shoreline person, someone who prefers to observe rather than join groups.
Although he has often been called upon to lead due to his abilities, his motivation stems from a desire to help rather than from a personal aspiration to lead.
I expressed my curiosity about Peter’s interpretation of the “marketplace” concept in Human Design.
He explained that the marketplace relates to a need to be around many people, highlighting the importance of community and connection.
He noted how I cherish my student body and that, while the term might sound commercial, it captures my essence perfectly—I thrive on interaction and engagement with others.
As our conversation unfolded, I shared my own needs for both social interaction and solitude, revealing that my husband’s ideal environment is a cave, reflecting his preference for isolation.
Peter quickly pointed out that within my chart, Neptune embodies a trait called the hermit, which signifies that solitude enhances my mental functions.
He remarked on how frequently people reveal aspects of themselves during chart readings, to which I nodded in agreement, recognizing how naturally the conversation flowed.
Peter expressed his admiration for my human design chart, noting how well it aligns with who I am meant to be.
He encouraged me, saying that I was manifesting perfectly according to my design.
🃏 The Significance of Cards
We then transitioned into a discussion about cards, and I asked Peter to explain what he meant by “cards” to those unfamiliar with the concept.
He described the 52-card deck as a profound tool that goes back thousands of years, serving as a structure of life that predates tarot.
Each card corresponds to aspects of life and, interestingly, aligns with the seasons and weeks of the year.
Peter then revealed that, according to my birth date, I was born to play the King of Diamonds.
He explained that diamonds represent the world around us, while the King symbolizes authority, indicating that I hold a natural authority about life.
He also mentioned my personality card, which is based on the ruling sign in my astrology—Mars, revealing that I embody the Two of Diamonds.
This dual aspect emphasizes not just authority but also the need to share knowledge and insights about life, which resonates deeply with my purpose.
As we continued our discussion, I shared my excitement about learning from Peter, particularly regarding the concept of cards.
I expressed that I had heard how the original tarot was linked to playing cards but had never considered the correlation with the Tree of Life.
I revealed that I had two large playing card artworks in my home and two gigantic tarot card pictures in my bedroom, showcasing my attraction to both forms of divination.
Peter expanded on the topic, explaining that in addition to my birth and personality cards, I also had a Jupiter card—the Jack of Spades, representing growth and expansion.
He described it as the “Prince of Consciousness,” emphasizing how my level of consciousness influences the expansion of my life.
I felt a sense of harmony as he spoke, appreciating how everything aligned beautifully with my journey.
❤️🩹 Intuition and Healing
Curious about the tools Peter employs in his practice, I asked him what he tends to lean toward when someone is struggling.
He revealed that he is highly intuitive and often calls on that intuition during his classes.
He described how he connects with each student, assessing their chakras and the Tree of Life’s spheres within their bodies.
By identifying weak points, he can trace back to the moments when those chakras became disturbed, whether it was during pregnancy, at birth, or in adolescence.
Peter shared how, in rapid-fire classes, he taps into his intuition to provide insights about his students’ struggles, often amazed at how accurately they resonate with his findings.
His trust in his intuitive gifts has developed over his 29 years of experience, allowing him to communicate messages from the universe with confidence.
I admired his perspective on intuition and how it relates to the Akashic field.
While Peter described it in terms of the universe, I recognized his insights echoed the teachings I hold about the Akashic records.
The connection between our interpretations was striking.
He then shared a personal story from earlier this year while vacationing in Mexico.
He recounted slipping on a stone bathroom floor and crashing onto his face, resulting in a rather dramatic and bloody incident.
Despite the mishap, he was unscathed and enjoyed the rest of his vacation, which only reinforced his belief in his luck.
About five days later, while still at the resort, Peter recalled that he heard a voice urging him to lie back down and be still.
He emphasized how he had learned to trust these messages over the years, always paying attention to the guidance he received.
Peter continued, emphasizing how he had learned to heed the guidance of the voices he heard.
He recounted the experience of lying down when instructed, during which he found himself in a profound state of stillness.
For about 15 minutes, he couldn’t formulate a single thought—just an awareness of that emptiness.
It was a unique and intense experience, one that he had encountered before in his life.
When the voice finally instructed him that the session was over, his body entered a phase of full convulsions, akin to a thrilling amusement park ride.
As the vibrations coursed through him, he realized this phenomenon had opened new channels in his third eye, allowing light beings from the 12th dimension to work with him.
I was fascinated by his story, particularly his openness to visitations from other realms.
I asked him to elaborate on his experiences, knowing that my audience would appreciate hearing about the unusual encounters he had.
🌏 Visitation from Inner Earth Beings
Peter described a significant visitation he had about a year and a half ago after he had been longing to experience the inner Earth.
He explained that beneath the Earth’s surface are 120 cities, steeped in rich history.
Notable locations include Telos, located under Mount Shasta, and Shambala, often referenced in Tibetan teachings.
He shared that famous figures like Madame Blavatsky and Admiral Byrd had also explored these mystical realms, adding layers of intrigue to his desire for a visit.
As Peter recounted his experience, he explained that one evening, while reclining in bed, he felt a distinct fush-fush sound above him.
After closing his eyes, he experienced vibrations in the bed that startled him.
When he reached out, he discovered he was in communication with three beings from inner Earth—two men and a woman.
They telepathically conveyed their intention to raise his frequencies for a collaborative purpose rather than mere tourism.
Peter elaborated on how his consciousness level began to rise significantly after this encounter.
He introduced the concept of consciousness scaling, referencing a system that ranks consciousness from one to a thousand, based on the work of David Hawkins, author of Power vs. Force.
He noted that the average consciousness level of humanity hovers around 190, while most benevolent individuals are in the 400 range.
He was delighted to learn that I was in the 500s, and he explained how this scaling relates to universal love and the various emotional states people experience.
He shared that higher consciousness is less about extraordinary abilities and more about an expansive capacity for love and connection.
In his day-to-day life in New York City, he strives to uplift others through simple acts of kindness, engaging with strangers on the subway and complimenting them, fostering happiness wherever he goes.
His passion for elevating the vibrational frequency of those around him resonated deeply with me, as it reflected my own aspirations for personal growth and the impact I hope to have on others.
I emphasized the importance of little things, noting that our small actions help raise the frequency of the planet.
They not only make someone else feel good but also enhance our own well-being in return.
This creates a ripple effect, simply by deciding to be loving and kind each day.
For me, the concept of oneness was something I deeply explored to better understand its significance.
Having tolerance for those who may get under our skin allows us to elevate our own frequency, enabling us to assist them in being their authentic selves without constructing stories around their behavior.
Sometimes, it’s simply a matter of people not knowing any better.
🙌 Human Design and Personal Insights
Peter shared his insights into human design, explaining that he can tap into people’s chakras and see that everyone is born with their unique traits.
He often examines the charts of famous individuals, utilizing their birthdates to create human design charts.
These charts reveal that some people are inherently predisposed to trouble.
He pointed out that human design isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution; while everyone has shadows, there are individuals with particularly challenging designs.
He recounted how his brother had been married to a woman whose chart was so problematic that they chose not to share it with her, as it only highlighted her negative traits.
According to Peter, human design is rooted in the Yi Jing, consisting of 64 hexagrams, each with six lines, totaling 384 lines.
Each line can be viewed through both positive and negative lenses, leading to a spectrum of over a thousand possible traits.
I pondered whether those with challenging human design charts tend to seek out readings.
Peter suggested that those who struggle profoundly often remain unaware on an unconscious level and therefore don’t seek out this type of wisdom.
He mentioned that when he reads charts for individuals with difficult lives, they often express gratitude for the validation their charts provide, realizing they were born into their struggles and can now work through them.
This validation not only provides purpose but also shifts the perspective that there are no mistakes in our paths.
He remarked that while you can’t change your chart, you can always strive to do better.
His readings can extend up to two and a half hours due to the intricate details involved.
Having conducted thousands of readings, he assured me that clients consistently affirm the accuracy of his insights throughout the process.
Each chart tells a story, revealing the overarching themes of an individual’s life.
Despite having personal elements in his own chart that he doesn’t particularly like, Peter embraces the visibility of his “underbelly beast,” which enables him to assist others more effectively.
Peter expressed his fascination with the ability to identify problems, noting that this awareness manifests in his daily life.
He often finds himself thinking about potential pitfalls—what could go wrong?
Yet, this perspective ultimately makes him more adept at navigating life, allowing him to adjust his approach to potential challenges.
I acknowledged the duality of this experience, recognizing that there’s always a flip side.
Peter shared that he is grateful for this insight, although it’s not something his family is always eager to hear about.
Curiously, I asked him if he identified as a projector, to which he replied that he was a generator.
He explained that as generators, our role involves stirring the pot of life.
We’re not direct manifesters; instead, we’re indirect manifesters, throwing everything we know into the pot and hoping for good results.
However, the universe has its own timing and method for delivering outcomes, often surprising us with what manifests out of left field, rather than what we expect from our efforts.
While stirring our pot, we must learn to step aside and let life unfold, providing the universe with positive intentions and the right material to work with.
He shared that this process has fascinated him for the past 22 years, allowing him to observe not only his own life but also the lives of those around him, especially those whose designs he understands.
I found it intriguing that we had just discussed the different types of human design.
Peter elaborated on the distinctions between generators, manifesters, projectors, and manifesting generators.
The latter, he explained, possess a special definition in their throat chakra, enabling them to manifest through their words.
They must first tune into what emerges from their energetic field.
In contrast, generators, like us, rely on gut feelings to determine whether something is right or wrong, responding to situations with immediate intuition rather than logical reasoning.
He emphasized that while we may not manifest with the same power as manifesting generators, we still have the potential to be powerful in our own right.
Curious about my own chart, Peter asked if I could share it.
As I pulled it up, he pointed out its fascinating elements.
On the left side, the hexagrams of the Yi Jing were laid out, corresponding to the specific lines that represented my birth.
On the right was the body graph, which features nine energy centers instead of the traditional seven chakras.
He noted that the top three chakras in my chart were undefined, meaning they were not colored in.
This indicated that I have an open higher mind and a mundane mind, both of which are receptive to the universe’s energies.
The only bit of color in that area came from the ’61 line, which represents the pressure of mysteries—an aspect common among profound spiritual teachers.
Peter mentioned that many of his students share this trait, driven by a desire to unravel the mysteries of existence.
He explained that when someone has open chakras, they act like antennas, absorbing everything happening around them.
However, this openness also comes with a tendency to seek out further questions and challenges.
Peter noted that my higher mind seems particularly geared towards understanding the universe’s mysteries, while my lower mind remains wide open, making me an original thinker who constantly rethinks and innovates.
In contrast, people with defined chakras often seek order and clarity, emphasizing structure in their lives.
Peter shared that his wife is one of those individuals, as she prefers to have everything organized, often making lists and pursuing certifications to bring order to her studies.
He concluded by affirming that, like him, I lean towards being an inventor, relying more on imagination than structure.
Peter continued our discussion by highlighting that my throat chakra is undefined, which suggests a constant desire to articulate my thoughts carefully.
In contrast, he described himself as a “verbal gunslinger,” someone who can easily engage in conversation.
He shared that his younger son also has an undefined throat yet excels in sales because he’s learned to master how to use his voice effectively.
Meanwhile, he humorously noted that while he can talk endlessly, selling isn’t his strong suit.
I found this insight intriguing, especially considering my background in sales.
Peter acknowledged this, recognizing that I knew how to navigate those waters successfully.
We shifted our focus to the solar plexus chakra, located in the lower right triangle.
Peter pointed out that this chakra, associated with feelings, is also undefined in my chart.
He noted that this makes conflict challenging for me; I prefer to keep things calm and avoid uncomfortable situations.
He drew parallels with his wife and younger son, who share this design, explaining that their aim is to maintain a chill environment.
However, he cautioned that avoiding conflict too much can lead to emotions bubbling beneath the surface, sometimes resulting in unexpected outbursts.
Peter mentioned that he experiences a wide range of feelings, constantly oscillating between highs and lows.
While he’s comfortable in his emotional landscape, he acknowledged that it might not be easy for everyone.
I shared that I find it essential to address conflicts head-on.
If I take the time to discuss what’s bothering me promptly, I can prevent issues from escalating. Peter commended this proactive approach.
As we examined my chart further, he noted the little yellow diamond representing my identity, which is defined.
This included traits such as creativity, spiritual warrior (the 25), and self-love (the 10).
Having these defined traits means I possess a strong sense of self.
He also pointed out the little red triangle representing the ego, defined as well, which signifies that I have a healthy awareness of my ego and can manage it effectively.
Peter contrasted this with his undefined ego, which sometimes doesn’t serve him well.
I reflected on how this knowledge empowers us to work with our unique designs.
🗒️ Navigating Life Through Chart Awareness
Peter emphasized that there’s nothing inherently wrong in human design; each chart serves its purpose in facilitating the soul’s growth.
While some may perceive charts as less desirable, Peter asserted that these individuals are merely fulfilling their soul’s mission in this lifetime.
Curious, I asked if he had encountered anyone with entirely undefined or defined charts.
Peter confirmed that reflectors, those with all undefined aspects, make up about 1.5% of the population.
They reflect everything around them and must learn how to navigate their unique experience.
Conversely, he noted that individuals with entirely defined charts are rare and often experience challenges due to gaps in their definitions, leading to feelings of anxiety as they struggle to find coherence within themselves.
Peter highlighted an interesting aspect of my chart—the spleen chakra, which governs fear related to survival.
He pointed out that I have the 57 channel, linked to intuition, which can manifest as a fear of the future.
He emphasized the importance of intuition in navigating life’s uncertainties, something he also experiences.
The connection between the 57 and the 10 represents the need for self-love, suggesting that looking good and feeling good about oneself is crucial.
He mentioned that his younger son, who shares this trait, is always impeccably dressed and exudes confidence as a master salesman.
Peter observed that my need to present myself well to the world aligns with my identity as a spiritual warrior.
He expressed admiration for how I managed to accomplish this, highlighting my ability to create an impactful presence.
I appreciate aesthetically pleasing things; I want everything to look nice and feel nice.
It doesn’t have to be perfect, but I need that sense of beauty around me.
Peter elaborates on this by explaining the significance of integrity and principles, especially in the context of survival.
He emphasizes that without integrity, honesty, and principles, we face dire consequences.
He also discusses the importance of the sacrum, or the second chakra, which is not only linked to energy but also to the gate of caring.
This connection highlights the necessity of a caring nature in all aspects of life, including sexuality. He notes that not everyone possesses this level of caring.
I find it fascinating that numbers resonate with me, particularly 27.
It’s become a running joke with my husband, who teases me about how everything I do ends up being 27, but I like that it symbolizes caring.
Peter shares that the number 27 is significant because it reduces to a nine, representing fullness and completion.
He describes how my chart is rich with meaning, including the pressure to initiate change, individuality, and the desire to start new things.
My penchant for beginnings aligns perfectly with the energies present in my chart.
I love starting new things and embracing fresh beginnings.
Peter continues to discuss how my chart reveals my ability to focus attention and the importance of maintaining order in my life.
This inclination toward structure complements my love for aesthetics.
He mentions the strong work ethic inherent in my energy and touches on a unique aspect of my chart that reflects my spiritual purpose.
He explains that my spiritual purpose centers around finding answers and tackling questions.
This aligns perfectly with my role as a spiritual teacher and gives me insight into my strengths.
I wholeheartedly agree with Peter; it’s empowering to understand my spiritual path and the gifts I bring to others.
🤝 The Role of Connection and Community
Peter goes on to express the beauty of my chart and its higher consciousness traits, which we could explore in greater depth.
I genuinely appreciate his insights and have always enjoyed reading charts to uncover deeper truths for others.
For those interested in exploring their own charts or seeking a reading, his website is https://www.heartriver.org/.
He also has a weekly Podcast titled Energy Stew, which has been running for 19 years. You can listen to it at prn.fm/energy-stew.
I find it incredible that he’s been sharing his knowledge for so long. It’s a testament to his dedication.
Peter mentions his experiences with his grandchildren and how they’ve shared remarkable insights about their past lives.
This resonates with me deeply, as I believe in nurturing curiosity and joy as we age.
We must stay connected to what sparks our interest and keeps us growing.
Peter’s stories about his family highlight the advanced consciousness of children today.
He reflects on his granddaughter’s early awareness of her past life, showcasing the innate wisdom that can exist in young children.
His approach to past life readings is both fascinating and profound.
He shares how he often looks into the past lives of individuals and has even encountered souls from other planets.
It’s a thrilling aspect of his work, and he recounts his journey of discovery, affirming that his insights were validated by published research.
Peter emphasizes the importance of connection and community, leaving me inspired by our exchange and excited for future discussions.

It was really cool finding out some new things on the Human Design chart that I didn’t know about, which was really, really neat. He also talks about cards. And when he’s talking about cards, he’s not talking about tarot. He’s not talking about oracle cards. He’s talking about playing cards, but from a spiritual perspective. And And I think this is super fascinating. It explains the difference between tarot and playing cards. And when he says playing cards, he’s a source cards practitioner, which is the original map of the structure of a life. In his early life, Peter was a third-degree black belt in karate and was a co-founder of the New York City Marathon. He lives in New York City with his wife of 43 years, and he has two sons and three grandchildren. He’s just a really beautiful soul. I’m really excited for you guys to jump into this. So without further ado, let’s jump into this SoulChat interview with Peter Roth. Hello, everyone. I’m so excited for this SoulChat interview with Peter Roth. Hi, Peter. How are you?
Hi, Amy. Just great. So happy to be talking with you.
I’m so excited you are here. Tell everybody a little bit about yourself. You’ve been In the spiritual journeying for quite some time, how did you enter it and how are you enjoying it now in your older years?
Well, I love it. I entered it the day I was born because I had a near-death experience. I had to be resuscitated, and I got to experience the other side. When we were that close to birth, we were very aware. Actually, there’s a woman, who’s named PMH At water? Anyway, she wrote a book. She researched so many adults who knew that they had to be resuscitated as children, assuming they all had near-death experiences. And They’re all unique people because they’d seen the other side. They don’t remember the near-death experience, but having it changed them. I can see how it must have changed me because I’ve always been out there. Then when I was 17, my father suddenly died, and I was driven to to follow his spirit, to want to know where he went and how I could find him and see him again. All of a sudden, I was on a spiritual path and studied College, I took courses in Buddhism, whatever. I was on the path. I didn’t take it seriously as a life career. I just knew I needed answers.
I think that’s where it starts for a lot of people. They just want answers.
Yeah. Then I studied bodywork. I studied applied kinesiology for many years. Then got so in debt at helping people. I was part of a big group. I was a leader, actually, of a A large group that assembled in Central Park every Sunday morning for some years, some hundreds of people who were brought there by a charismatic guy who had a daily radio show in New York. He’s still that well, I don’t know if he still has it. He’s on the Internet anyway with the radio show. But this is back in the ’70s. I used to actually a guest on his show and even hosted occasionally when he’d go away. But he had me debating with people who were experts of different things, and I was able to give them answers and debate with them. About subject matter I wasn’t familiar with, and I didn’t understand how I knew all that. It turns out that it was all intuitive. It was just information would come through. Actually, over the years, there have been some scientists who I was connected with who I was able to give them information that they needed that I didn’t even know what I was talking about.
It’s neat that they were open and interested in it, too, by receiving it in that way.
Yeah, but that’s the package. They knew they needed this information. When I said, I have some information that they need, they understood they better listen. I love I love it.
Absolutely love it.
I didn’t understand why. How did I know so much? Then, I guess it was in the ’70s, also, I traveled around the country to write a book about running. I’m very entrenched in the running world. I’m one of the cofounders of the New York Marathon, and there are many aspects of running that I’ve had an impact in the world. And so at one point, I was researching a book on where to run in 125 American cities. Couldn’t get to all of them, but I did get to quite a few. And then when I was writing the book, every morning, I’d wake up to write another chapter, another city, and somehow I knew a lot about it. I didn’t understand how I had it all figured out. But I guess in my sleep or something, all the information was poured into me and I just knew what to do. When the book came out, there were people calling me from different cities saying, How did you know this? How did you know that? I said, Well, I don’t know. I just knew it. That book came out in the late ’70s. I’ve been very surprisingly extremely intuitive in ways that I just didn’t understand myself.
Why do I know these things? I was able to read into people’s bodies because I had studied body work. I’d studied applied kinesiology for some years, and I was so good at helping people, but I wasn’t licensed in anything. I had a family, and I couldn’t go back to school to be licensed. I said, Well, I’ve always been so spiritual. Why don’t I just try to turn this into something spiritual and see? And all of a sudden I could read people’s bodies remotely. I could do chiropractic adjustments on the telephone with people. And it was Crazy how everything flooded in from the universe in so many different ways. And my biggest questions, I guess, had to do with how does the universe work? What What’s going on? Where does all this information come from? How do we know what to do next if we were guided by spirit? And it was amazing that it just kept growing and growing, and I was just in wonder so much about these gifts that I seemed to have And so I started a healing school, in 1997. And we’ve had weekly classes ever since, except for summer breaks.
And even teaching classes, I just sit down with a lot of students. And in those early days, because I was on the radio a lot, et cetera, I had a big client I had a big student body, and I just let it flow. Students would come in. I had it in my house for some years. I had a big living room, and I’d have 20 students, and I wouldn’t have an agenda. I would just ask for guidance and be able to teach a class for a couple of hours. It was really Too far out. I didn’t know how to deal with it other than appreciate it. Because we’re going to talk about what we’re designed for, and we’ll talk about the human design system. Because in the human design system, I know your chart will talk about what that all means, but you’re born to be a leader. You’re a number three in human design, and that’s the number of leadership of the six numbers because it’s based on Chinese hexagrams. Those six, the three is leadership. And that makes sense. You are. And I’m not. It’s great if I could be a three, but I’m not.
I’m not a four, which is master, being a master and have devotees. And so you’re a leader and have followers. So just people recognize that you know so much. People love to follow you. But a master is much more personal and not necessarily having classes, just being integrated with people through their mastery.
For anybody that doesn’t know, what is human design?
Human design is a system that was brought in, channeled in to a man living in Ibiza, Spain, in 1987. A voice spoke to him and said, take notes, and a voice spoke to him for eight days and delivered this crazy system that is so amazingly profound. And it took It took me five years to learn how to present it to the public. And it’s based on our birth date, time, and place. So it’s based on where the planets are in the sky And instead of, in astrology, having houses and planets around the sky, it has the hexagrams, the 64 hexagrams of the Chinese Yi q’Chang. And he was shown how to surround the sky with them. So when you know where your planets are, you know which particular hexagrams are yours. And then he was given the understanding that not only is our birth date important, but 88 and a half days before we were born, the unconscious half of our personality clicks in. And that’s how we know half of you. And Well, it’s not so unconscious. It’s just between the front burner and the back burner.
Yeah, it’s what burner you’re using. In human design, we have the conscious part of our chart, and then we have the unconscious part of our chart. Is that correct? Is that what you’re seeing?
Well, we have the front burn and back burn. They’re all in play all the time. They’re all accurate. I’ve done thousands of chart readings because I studied with the original guy. I took a lot of classes with him 22 years ago.
I find human design extremely fascinating. I think it’s a really neat thing. What do you tell someone if… Because I know you need to know your birthday, you need to know where you were born. What about the birth time? Because there are some people that just don’t know what time they were born, and sometimes it’s not on their birth certificate either.
Well, that’s a deep understanding of how life is patterned. Because human design has to do with the patterns that you’re born to in life, personality patterns. So much is based on our time of birth, because that’s where the planets were, and that’s what activates our personality. If you don’t know the exact time of birth, you can find it out through astrological rectification. I learned what that is because my wife is an astrologer, and she had to be certified, and she had to learn how to rectify charts for people. In other words, how to find the exact time of birth. It says a lot about life because what you do is you interview people about the main landmarks in their lives, and Then once you know the landmarks, and an approximate day of birth can be just a day, can be within a few hours, using Astrology, you figure out with those landmarks in your life, you could only have been born at a particular second of time.
Fascinating. That’s really neat. People can figure out their time of birth if they don’t have the formation through- Yes, and there are astrologists who do rectifications who are good at it.
But to me, what’s important is that if all the important landmarks in your life can be recognized from the second that you were born, what does that say about your free will of creating those landmarks in your life? They’re already there. They’re already there from the moment of birth Yeah. And the timing of it is already there. And so we say, Oh, I think I’ll propose to my girlfriend and we’ll get married. And it’s all my free will that’s creating that. But then you look at your chart and you were always going to get married at that moment in time that you did.
Yeah, absolutely. It’s all so fascinating to me, and I find it so very interesting. With human design, we’ve been doing charts for quite some time. What is the most fascinating thing in the chart that you like to look at compared to what’s the most popular things most people look at?
Well, one of the things that I like to look at are the six numbers that I was just talking about, that you’re going to be a leader. And what I was getting to, but moved on to other subject matter, was that when I had all these classes and I wasn’t a leader or a master, what was I? Well, I’m a number six. And six is the number, it’s called innocence. It’s just being. So I only know how to be. I don’t have an ego about it. I can’t call myself, Oh, I’m this master. I’m this leader. I can’t even identify with that. All I am grateful for is that people want to listen. God.
I think it’s not good. I think it’s not easy. Well, it’s not easy. I think it’s not good. I think it’s not good. I think it’s not easy. Well, it’s not easy. Everyone in our life, different numbers.
But it’s fairly rare to be a six. And so when I meet other sixes, I’m so happy to tell them about themselves Because they’re also not understanding why they have these or lack these ego needs that other people have.
I always say it’s all written in the stars. Also, Well, people don’t know how to look at us because they expect us to be like them, and we’re not. No, and you can’t be something you’re not.
In the early years, when I helped to found the New York City Marathon, there were a few other people there who had leadership. I became an important leader at the time. I was one of the four directors or officers of the organization. The two that were above me, the President or Vice President, looked at me as a threat because I was so popular and so excited about everything. They thought I was going to challenge them for leadership, but I’m not born to be a leader. I was just happy doing what I was doing. And of course, many times in my life, I’ve become a leader only because I’m not born to join groups. I’m not a joiner. And so if I’m with groups, it’s also in our human design that I’m born to be a shoreline person. That’s my ideal location in life is a shoreline. So that also means with groups, I’ll stay on the shore and watch. But I also, because of the abilities I have, many times I’ve been asked to lead. It’s not like I aspire to. I just want to do my best to help. I’m not a good joiner, so I might as well be leading.
In that situation. That’s cool. I like that because sometimes we got to rise to the occasion. Now, let’s talk about- Let me tell you about your ideal. Sounds good.
The marketplace.
Yes, mine is the marketplace. Tell me a little bit about that. I’ve had different interpretations, and so I’m curious to hear what your interpretation of it is.
Well, it has to do with wanting to be around a lot of people. You have a student body that you just cherish and they cherish you. And that’s a marketplace. I hate to make it sound commercial, but it is. But it’s also that this shows that you’re a person who really needs to mix, to be with others, to get out and enjoy being in the world with other people.
I absolutely need it. I require, and I also require my alone time as well. My husband’s is a cave. That’s his location, is the cave.
Well, you have in one of your traits here, where is it? Because I looked at your traits in detail. And at Neptune, in your chart, is a trait called the hermit. When in isolation, the lowness enriches your mental functions. So what you just told me is in your chart. People do that a lot. When I do chart readings, people say, Well, let me tell you about myself. And I’ll say, No, no, we’ll get there. He does that.
It naturally all unfolds, right?
Yeah. It’s amazing. You have a wonderful human design chart. I mean, I’m so impressed. It was so exciting to look at it and see the details. You’re truly who you’re here to be. Oh, thank you. You’re manifesting perfectly what you were born to. But let’s also I also talk about your cards.
Tell everybody what cards are so they know exactly what you mean by cards. I’d love to.
This is the 52 card deck. It’s something that I’m very indulgent with because it’s always accurate and it’s extremely profound. This is the deck that cards we play card games with, and yet it goes back thousands of years. It actually the pips in it or wherever the clubs or hearts or diamonds or spades sit on the card is also where they sit in the tree of life. That’s how far back this goes. It’s amazing how profound it is. The cards are really the structure of life. It comes, I think, hundreds of years before tarot, because tarot are the stories of life. You can’t have the stories of life unless you have the structure of life. So the 52 card deck, and just think about 52 weeks in the year, 52 cards, how many seasons there are, how many suits there are in the deck. It goes on and on how it resembles life. What’s exciting for you is that you’re born to play the king of diamonds, according to your birth date. Cards are always accurate. I’ve done thousands of card readings for people, and they’re always, always obviously accurate. And the King of Diamonds, diamonds are the world around us, and the King is the authority.
So you are an authority about life. It’s a natural authority that you’re designed for. And so it makes sense. And then your your personality card, which is based on the ruling sign in your astrology, actually, which is Mars. You can know that, right?
I think I did.
Yeah. And that’s the two of diamonds. So not only are you an authority about life. The two is sharing. You’re here to share all about life. So it makes total sense about who you are and what you’re here for.
Yeah, that sounds… I’ve never heard until I met you, Peter, about these card raisons. I’ve heard that the Tarot, the original tarot was always done with playing cards. And so I think it’s so neat to see that that that is the tree of life and that the tarot is the stories of life, which a funny fact is I have two big, gigantic playing card pictures for art in my house, and we have two big, gigantic tarot card pictures in my bedroom as well because I’m so attracted to both things. So I think it’s really nice. I’ve never heard of that correlation before. So fascinating.
Also, I want you to know that your Jupiter card, because we’re born to a hand of cards. Cards I told you were your birth card and the ruling card, which is your personality card, because that was your ruling sign. But your Jupiter card is the Jack of Spades. Jupiter is the card of expansion and growth. You’re born to play the Jack of Spades. That’s the Prince of Consciousness. Oh, what a surprise. It all fits so beautifully. Your life expands because of your level of consciousness.
That’s so neat. If anybody’s ever interested, they can come and get a card reading from you or human design and take some different classes from you as well. Peter does all sorts of different stuff, which I find really fascinating. We have a lot of similar teachings and thoughts as well, which I think is really neat. If someone’s struggling, if they’re struggling, what tool do you usually have the tendency to lean more towards?
Well, I’m also highly intuitive.
Yes.
So usually I’ll call on my intuition and ask. I do this in my classes a lot. I’ll have healing classes where for each student, I’ll feel remotely, feel their chakras, and feel the quality of their chakras and see where I see trouble in that. I’ll also scan these spheres of the tree of life on their body, and and see where those might be at this alignment. And then I’ll get to understand the nature of the problem that way. And then I can go back in time. And what I do is, if I find a weak chakra, I can go back and see where it got weak. It could have gotten weak in the womb. It could have gotten weak at birth. You know, any time. It’s a teenager. Wherever there was struggles in life is where our chakras get disturbed. Then according to which chakra and when it happened, then all of a sudden, the stories appear to me about what happened in that person’s life and what’s going on and what their patterns are of struggle and how that needs help. It’s interesting because I do this in rapid fire in classes because I always call in every student in the class through whatever the topic is.
Then I’ll just tap into my intuition and carry on about what’s saying. I’ll talk for a few minutes and then I’ll look up and say, Does any of this mean sense to you? Because I’m just hearing it from the universe and they go, Oh, yeah, Because I’ve been doing this for 29 years, so I trust myself. But also I’m always in wonder. It’s like I’m getting all this information. Oh, my gosh. Then I’ll say to the person, with all this information, what does it say to you? They reliably agree with it. But it’s always strange. It’s strange to work from the universe because it’s ungrounded. There’s no proof of anything. You’re just hearing stuff. Like I said earlier, I would hear scientific information and just talk to a scientist about it and not know what I’m talking about. And they go, Oh, that’s exactly what I needed. I’m fascinated by intuition, by I know that how you see it in the terms you use have to do with the Kashic field, the Kashic records. I’ve always known those identifications, but I’m not as succinct about it as you can be when you talk about the Kashic field and records.
I just talk about the universe, and I know that there are all kinds of angels and archangels and guides. It’s amazing what comes through. You want to hear an interesting story about what happened to me earlier in the year? I was in Mexico on vacation at a timeshare resort, and I slipped on the bathroom stone floor and crashed directly onto my face. It was very bloody. The blood even had to be mopped up afterwards.
But nothing was broken because I’m blessed to crash on my face and to be able to have a good vacation after that, even though it was bandaged up.
I I was fine and had a good time. But about five days later, I was still in the resort, and I was getting out of bed in the morning, and a voice said, Lie back down and be still. I’ve learned over the years to pay attention to voices.
Yes.
Because often… I’m hearing all the time, but there are times when there’s a striden voice telling me what to do, and I’ve learned through trial and error to obey. Because when I resisted, I paid the price for it. I said, Okay, and I laid back down, and all of a sudden, my brain was shut down. For about 15 minutes, I couldn’t even have one thought except to be aware that I couldn’t have a thought. That was insane. It was amazing. But there were a couple of times earlier in my life where I was in similar situations where my brain was shut down for a period of time. I know to trust that. I’m lying there, and after about 15 minutes, the voice says, Okay, we’re done. And all of a sudden my body went into full convulsions for a couple of minutes, which was wonderful. I mean, it was like an amusement park ride. Every muscle of my body was vibrating heavily, shaking. And then at the end, I said, Okay, what’s going on? And the voice said, Okay, when you slept on the bathroom floor and fell on your face, We saw that you opened up some new channels in your third eye.
Okay.
And this voice said that… I think I don’t remember what they said, three or four light beings from the 12th dimension had seen this and had come to work on them. And that’s why this was all happening.
That’s amazing. And I know you’ve had quite a A bit of visitations as well.
Can you talk about that? We can talk about it because I know your audience will appreciate it. Most people can’t understand what I’m talking about, But about a year and a half ago, I had my first visitation from inner Earth. I’ve been asking for a visitation because I want to visit inner Earth. There are 120 cities. There’s a lot known about the inner Earth through history, actually.
For anybody that doesn’t know, can you give just a brief description?
Sure. There are cities. There’s one down in the Earth, but under Mount Shosta called Tellos, and there are books about that. Also, one of the Tibettan secret teachings is about Shambala. Then Madame Blowatsky, who was a famous spiritual teacher, a woman from 100 years ago and started the Theosophy School. She actually visited Chambala and wrote a book about it. And Admiral Bird visited inner Earth. And that was the government shut down the information, but his family has been coming out with it. I wanted to visit, and I didn’t know what that meant. Then all of a sudden, I was in bed, sitting in bed or reclining. My eyes were closed, and there was a fush-fush over my head. And I opened my eyes and it stopped. Then I closed my eyes and I opened my eyes again. And then the bed started to vibrate. Heavily. And it was like, what’s going on? And I asked, I said, is anybody here? And there were three people from an who were visiting Astrali, a man, two men and a woman. And they started speaking with me telepathically, telling me that they’d come to raise my frequencies so that I could visit.
Because we had work to do together. It was really about responsibility, not just being a tourist. They needed me to have a higher frequency. And so that was nice. And I said, Well, we’ll see again. And then the next day, I was dousing for my consciousness level, because you can do that. I’ve doused for yours. I’ve told you before, you have a high consciousness frequency. And all of a sudden, mine was rising. And over the next several days, it rose almost to the top of the charts. And it was like, what’s going on here? And so I’ve been become a real student of consciousness. And there are people, there’s a company called Focused Lifeforce Energy out in British Columbia who will send a high frequency to your home 24/7. And they’re at flfe. Net, and I love them. And I’ve been a subscriber to them for many years. And so I’m working with them, managing this consciousness level that inner Earth wants me to be at. And so it’s… I’m learning about what consciousness means, and it’s on a scale of one to a thousand based on a Hawkins scale, and he’s the guy who wrote the book Power versus Force.
And the lower numbers are where most people are at. The overall consciousness level of humanity right now is about 190. Okay. To a thousand. Most good people are in the 400 range. You’re up in the 500s. Some exceptional people are. It’s important to understand what that means to life to be at that higher level. All consciousness levels have to do with this universal love. The lower levels are struggle, where there’s hate and rage and envy, all the lower understandings of emotions and happiness. As you get higher, you get much more comfortable loving and much more disciplined about living your life that way. And it’s not about romantic love. It’s about universal love. It’s about oneness and harmony. And so for me, being at a higher level now isn’t that I can walk through walls or levitate or anything like that. It’s really that I just love loving. And like I live in New York City, every day when I’m out in the city, I’m always talking with strangers. I just love to be positive with people in ways that reinforce their happiness. And so it’s on the subways. I’m always talking with strangers, complimenting them about different things and making everybody as happy as I can, just being friendly and helpful and in wonder about people, no matter what it is, what they’re wearing, how they’re looking, how they’re acting.
I’ll compliment them. I just love doing that. I think that’s part of what higher consciousness is about.
Yeah, absolutely. It’s the little things because when we have those little things that we’re doing, it, one, helps us raise the frequency of the planet, makes someone else feel good, and makes us feel good all in return. It’s a multitude of a ripple effect that happens just by deciding that you’re going to be loving today and you’re going to be nice towards people today. For me, oneness was something that I focused on for quite some time just because I wanted to really understand what that was, because when you can have tolerance for the people that get under your skin, it allows you to raise your frequency and assist them and just being who they are without having to create story around why they might be behaving. Because sometimes people just don’t know better.
Well, because I look at human designs and I can tap into people’s chakras, I can see that people are born to be the way they are. I’ve looked at the charts of many famous people because you can find their birthdates at times. People, astrologers have looked at the astrology of many famous people, and I can find those charts and find their birth data and then do a human design chart and see that, yes, these are people who are born to be in trouble. Human design is not a whitewash. You have this incredibly wonderful human design. Granted, everybody has their shadows. But there are people whose human designs are terrible. My brother was married to a woman for quite a while whose human design was so bad, he and I decided not to show it to her because all it did was show what a terrible person she was. So when you look at so many famous people, and read their charts, you can tell exactly what they’re about. They’re bad stuff because human design is based on the Yi Jing, Which is 64 hexagrams. Each hexagram has six lines. So it’s 384 lines. Plus you can have a positive aspect or a negative aspect to each line.
And so there are over a thousand possible possibilities of traits that you can be born to, and it’s a full spectrum.
Yeah.
And so wherever your planets were at birth and whatever lines in hexagrams you’re born to represent you. It could be a whole bunch of the bad ones. And guess what will happen in your life? It’ll be bad. I’ve learned so much about looking at the charts of many of the villains of the world and seeing what makes them… Some will have rejection of higher principles. It would be very clear, yes, these people are rejecting higher principles. It’s fascinating when you get to learn the details of people’s lives based on these personality traits they were born to.
Do you think that people that do have some more challenging human design charts, are those the people that are usually seeking out chart readings, or are those the people that aren’t usually seeking out that type of wisdom?
If it’s that bad, they won’t be looking because on an unconscious level, they’re not going to be asking for trouble. I’ve had chart readings of people who have troublesome lives, and when they see their chart, they go, Thank God, I’ve been born into this trouble. So now I can deal with it.
It feels validating.
It’s validating and also gives you purpose. There’s no mistakes, so let’s get on with doing a better job. You can’t change your chart, but you can do a better job of It’s fascinating because there’s so much detail. A chart reading can go two and a half hours. That much detail. Every detail is accurate because I’ve done thousands and people go, Yeah, oh, yeah. So far you’re right. So far you’re right. Right till the end of the reading. It’s fascinating. I love to do them because everybody’s chart has a real theme to it because each person has a theme in their lives. Their lives are very clear in the way who they’re supposed to be. And we don’t have to like it all. I have things in my chart that I don’t like. I’m not happy with. Because in my chart, actually, I can see the underbelly beast. In other words, I can always see what’s wrong, and that helps me help people.
Yes.
I’m fascinated by the ability to see what the problem is, but it shows up just in my everyday life where, Oh my God, this could go wrong. That could go wrong. This could go wrong. But then it makes me better at living it because then you adjust for what could go wrong.
Right. There’s always the flip side, right?
I’m grateful for it, but my family doesn’t want to hear about it from me.
Are you still a projector or what are you?
I’m a generator.
A generator?
Yeah, and you are, too. And we’re just here to stir the pot. And as generators, we’re trying to be manifesters. We’re trying to make life work by stirring our pot, and we throw everything we know into the pot, and hopefully the pot will produce good results for us. The problem is that we’re not manifesters. We’re not direct manifesters. We’re indirect manifesters. While we’re stirring the pot, the universe goes to work. Says, Oh, that’s what you want, huh? All right, we’ll figure it out. We’ll give you good stuff in our way, in our timing. Not necessarily. The secret is that life comes out of left field. Even though we’re stirring the pot thinking it should come out of our pot. But our pot is disappointing because it doesn’t do as good a job as we expect because we’re not manifesters. But it does manifest a result, but in its own, in the universe’s way.
On its own timing.
Right. Not in our egos purpose. We have to learn to get out of our own way and that life come, but also provide intention, give the universe good stuff to work with and never know when the phone rings or the opportunity to show up that are just amazing. I love to watch it because I’ve known about this now for 22 years. I’ve been watching it not only in my life, but in the life of so many people I know, and I know their designs, and I watch life show up the way it’s supposed to.
Yeah, it’s really neat. For people that don’t know, so we were just talking about generators. There’s generator, manifester, generator, manifester, right? Projector. What’s the other A manifesting generator, which is like you and I, the generators, but they have a definition in their throat chakra that gives them a powerful voice.
So they can then be like, it’s called the voice of God. They can manifest from what they say to create a result. But they first need to receive what comes out of that field. Then a generator and a manifest in the generator, we have sounds, we have gut sounds of whether something is correct or not. It’s not our mind saying yes or no, I like this or this is good or not. It’s a gut, and it’s automatic, it’s immediate. When you have a response to something that is an up vibe or down vibe, you’ll know if it’s correct or not. Then you can manifest from that if you’re a manifesting generator. But you and I just have to keep on letting life reveal itself and go, and then follow through on that, but not with the same power as a manifesting generator. But it doesn’t mean we can’t be powerful. You have a very interesting story. You’re here to be a spiritual warrior. It’s amazing. Can you put your chart up?
Let me pull that up.
Because it’s amazing what it says about you. We’re talking about this as the body graph. On the left are the hexagrams of the Yi Jing and the particular lines of each hexagram you’re born to. Then on the right side is a body graph. It’s a chakra template. It has nine centers rather than the normal seven chakras. I’ll explain that. Your chart is very interesting because the top three chakras are undefined, in other words, not colored in. The top two, the very top one is the higher mind, and the triangle pointed down is the mundane mind. They’re both wide open. The only little color you have there is the ’61, and it’s unconscious, but it’s still in play, and it’s the pressure of the mysteries. I notice in my classes, a lot of my students have the ’61, and that’s why they’re in class because they want to understand the mysteries. A lot of profound spiritual teachers have the ’61. I don’t have it, but I’m wide open. When you’re wide open, you’re receiving a lot from the universe, from the Kashik field, whatever. It’s all coming in because these white chakras have antennas all around and mirrors to pick up whatever is going on around.
Then bring it all in. But when it’s white, it has a little racer in it and says, Ask the next question. What a race is what you’ve been working on. So you can work on more and better and new and different. And so your higher mind is definitely geared towards the mysteries of the universe. And the lower mind is wide open. You’re an original thinker. You’re always needing to rethink and come up with new and better. I’m this way, too. And so it’s fun to be this way, but it’s not normal. People who have this colored in defined are more rows and columns, people.
Are more what people?
Rows and columns. Oh, okay. They want to establish a clear order for everything. My wife has this defined, very defined. And so she’s always making lists and always everything has to be clarified in writing. And when she studies things, she needs her certifications. Everything has to be in order. And you and I aren’t like that. We’re more inventors. We more use our imagination.
Yes, I would definitely agree with that.
And your throat is undefined. And that just means that you’re always wanting to know what you’re talking about. Whereas mine is very defined. I’m just a verbal gunslinger, so I can just carry on and on and on. It’s amazing. Each way, because for instance, an undefined throat because you want to be careful about how you express yourself and say things correctly. My younger son has an undefined throat, and he’s an amazing salesman, and he’s really now a big-time sales manager in a big company. And it’s because he had such a gift to know how to use his throat because he has studied it. Whereas I’m not good at selling anything I can talk a lot.
That’s interesting because, in my previous job, that’s what I did. I was in sales.
Yeah, because you knew how to do it right. I want to come down to, well, the lower right is the solar plexus, the lower right triangle, is the solar plexus chakra. That’s feelings. It’s undefined. You’re not good in conflict. No. It’s uncomfortable for you to be in conflict. It’s difficult. My wife is designed like you, and my younger son is also. It’s like their goal in life is to keep things chill. Let’s just be chill. That’s everybody. We can meditate or whatever, so we’re chill. But it does, unfortunately, you do sweep too much under the carpet when you don’t express yourself enough, and sometimes it can burst out in anger, and you don’t know where it came from because you’re not happy with it because it’s not something that you like. Whereas I’m very defined, and because of that, I’m always up and down, up and down, up and down, high and low, hope and pain, hope in pain. It’s no fun to be always in feelings. My wife says that I waste too much time on my feelings, but I’m comfortable with them because I’m used to them. It’s white like this, you’d rather not be used to them.
I have to work hard when there’s a conflict and I have to make the space and time to talk about what’s bothering me Otherwise, I know it will come out in the most inopportune time. If I nip it in the bud right away, it’s better. Very smart.
We can come down to the little yellow diamond, and that’s your identity, which is defined. You know yourself. The one is creativity. The 25 is a spiritual warrior. And the 10 is self-love. To have those three traits, knowing yourself is wonderful. Then the little red triangle is the ego, which is willpower. It’s defined as being a spiritual warrior, which is an excellent way to have an ego. I always congratulate people who have defined egos because it means you know your ego and you can deal with it. When it’s mine is undefined. I always think my ego doesn’t serve me enough. And it doesn’t in ways, and it does. And in other ways, it’s a great gift. There’s nothing in human design that’s really wrong. It’s just the way we’re different.
I think it’s information that we know with that information, then we can work with it to find ourselves.
Well, but I say nothing wrong. Here, I’ve talked about people having terrible charts, and you could say that’s wrong, but that’s what their souls came here for.
Absolutely.
It’s only wrong from our viewpoint to them. They just can’t help being that way. They might not be happy being that way, but they have to be because their souls need to grow in this life that way and choose it.
Have you seen anybody with all undefined or all defined?
Yes. If it’s all undefined, then the type of reflector. Those people are just total reflections of what’s going on around them. Then they have to learn to work with what they’re reflecting.
And the reflector is really rare, right?
It’s one and a half % of the. And then I’ve seen people with them all defined, and there are much fewer people with all defined than undefined. When they have too much definition, often you’ll have to split between them in ways that there are gaps. In other words, it’s not all colored in between them, and those gaps create split definitions. Some people have triple-split definitions, and those people are usually very anxious because they never feel like they have all their ducks in order. And yet they feel very smart about things, but uncomfortable that they just can’t get it all together. One thing you have here that I really… You have so much that I really like, but one thing, in particular, I want to talk about right now is On the lower left is the spleen chakra, and that’s the home of fear for survival. You have the 57, which is intuitive.
Okay.
It’s actually called fear of the future. Oh, my gosh, if we need to know the future, we better be intuitive. I have that, too. But then it goes up to the 10, which is self-love. Actually, that channel between the 57 and 10 is called perfected form. That means that you always need to look good. The world around you needs. You need to build the world around you to look good. You need to… My younger son has this, and he’s always so wonderfully dressed, and he always looks great. He’s this master salesman, too. So looking good is important. But it’s wonderful to see. He’s a Queen of hearts, which means everybody loves him, and he loves everybody. And he’s also the king of spades, which is a total command. And recently, my wife was watching him at his house being on the Internet, working with his sales teams. And she was so impressed with his sense of command. I love it.
He can command a room.
Yes. Because he wasn’t the easiest teenager, et cetera. But now he’s 37 and he’s just… He amazes us how wonderful he is. You have this. It’s really about things that need to look good for you to feel yourself. You look great, so you’re accomplishing that.
I like aesthetically pleasing things. I want everything to look nice and be nice. It doesn’t have to be perfect. I have to feel like it’s nice.
You’re born to that. Then the 50 is principles and integrity. Since this is the chakra of fear for survival, then it means that if we don’t have integrity honesty, and principles in our lives, we’re all going to die. That’s what it feels like to you. It’s so important to maintain That’s what you’re seeing there. And then the 27, it’s in the second chakra, the red square is the second chakra, and that’s the sacrum, which is your motor. That’s why you’re a generator. But it’s also the sex chakra. And the 27 is the gate of caring. So the way you are in life, including your sexuality, has to be very caring. Caring person. Everything has to reflect caring. Not everybody has that. Actually, if it was on the other side, on the right side of the chart, it has to do with intimacy and passion, and it’s not personal. So it doesn’t have to do with caring as much as making babies. These charts, really cover the ground.
It’s neat because for me, just even the numbers really speak to me, and 27 is a big number for me. My husband will often make fun of me because I’ll be like, I had to do 27,000 things. Everything ends up being 27. I like that that’s the number for the carrying. That’s pretty neat.
Also, 27 is a nine, and nine means to fill up. Nine is the top rung of the ladder, and so you’re always filling up, taking in as much as you can. And so there’s so much to talk about in the chart. I mean, at the bottom, square is the pressure to initiate. It’s the first chakra, and that’s where you’re initiated from. And the 38 is individuality. You initiate from being an individual and want to be recognized as an individual. And the 53 is starting new things. It’s good that you have that because on the upper right coming out of the throat is the 35, and the 35 is getting bored. The 35 is always looking for something, what’s next. You have the 53, which is the energy to start new things. That takes care of that.
I always like starting new things. Lots of new things.
Then you have the red square of the nine, which is the ability to focus your attention very strongly. You have the five, which are having fixed patterns in your life. You like to have a sense of when you’re eating meals and when you go to bed and just have order in your life. And then that goes along with it. Perfect form, too. And then the 14 is energy to work hard to accomplish your goals. Fourteen is really a hard-working energy. But I also wanted to talk briefly about your There’s a chart software that people don’t… Most people don’t have, most chart readers don’t have. When I sell them, get into it because it has to do with spiritual purpose in life. Since you’re a spiritual teacher, I thought I’d look at it and see what your spiritual purpose is in life. These are based on a different-looking It’s the chart, but it doesn’t have all the same numbers, et cetera. It’s from different moments before and after you’re born. This one, what you’re guiding spiritual purpose in life is six days after you’re born. It’s actually based on finding answers. Purpose for people.
And so your guidance and spiritual purpose in life is to be very talented at tackling questions that need answers, and you’re great at finding answers. It’s wonderful to see that in your spiritual purpose. There are a bunch of different ones here, but the basic understanding is that you’re here to be very talented and spiritual and have answers for people. It’s nice to know what your spiritual purpose in life is.
Absolutely. For sure.
Yeah. There’s so much in your chart. Your lines are so beautiful. So many of them are really higher consciousness traits to live with. I’ve actually typed them out. At some point, we go over them in detail. I don’t want to go into all of them.
I still appreciate you, Peter. But I always love to read charts and get to the bottom of things for people. Yeah. If you’re interested, how can they find you to do a chart?
Well, I can be reached at my email address, which is peter@heartriver. Org. My school is heartriver. Org, or Heart River Center for Intuitive Healing. But their website is heartriver. Org, H-E-A-R-T-River. Org. It’s Peter at that. Then I have a weekly podcast that I’ve had for 19 years.
It’s amazing. That you’ve been on for 19 years.
But it wasn’t called a podcast in those days. It was called a radio show. But it’s still weekly. You’ve been a recent guest of mine on that. It’s It’s called Energy stew. People can go to energy stew. Podbean. That’s S-T-E-W. Energy stew. Podbean, like the beans of the pod. Com. And they’ll see years and years of shows that they can scroll through. And also I have a YouTube channel that I don’t promote that much, so it doesn’t get as many views, but it has, because it’s recent actually, and it has hundreds of old shows. And those are videos. And yours will be up there at some point soon. I have a guy who hosts those every so often. I don’t know what else.
I’ll put all of your info in the show notes and then the show description. If you’re interested in getting a reading, a human design reading, a chart reading, or checking out one of Peter’s classes, you can go to his website. I’ll make sure that that is in the show notes and the show description. I love talking to you, Peter. I think it’s always fascinating and interesting what you’re doing, and you just give me lots of hope about what you’re doing and where we can go when we get older as well, because I feel like I’m a forever student, and I love talking to you. I know that you’re going to be 82 soon. I talked to my grandma, and she’s 86, and it’s just she finds all this stuff fascinating as well. I think as we get older, we have to stay within the realms of the things that interest us spark joy bring curiosity keep us going, and keep us growing as well, which I think is so fascinating. I just love that you’re still doing I have grandchildren who are pretty advanced consciousness kids, little ones.
My seven-year-old, when she was three and a half, was telling me about a past lifetime of hers.
Love it.
Then at that time, her little sister was born, and she said, You know, Grandpa, when my sister and I were still living out in the sky, we were friends, and we decided to come here and be sisters. That’s amazing. She knows that she can talk to me about it. The rest of the family appreciates her information, spiritual information. They’ll just Because I’m built for this, and this is what I love. I have a grandson who I know of some of his past lives, and they were just incredible. I’m excited about him. He’s almost 11 months old now. And so I love to use my intuition to look. Another thing I do is look at the past lives of people. Very easily, I can go back and check out a past life. And it was interesting that as a scientist who I just learned about who has some breakthrough in science. And I looked for his past lives. Where is he from? How come he knows so much? I got that he didn’t have it. Well, at least I wasn’t shown past lives. I was only being told that he was from the future. That was fascinating.
I got goosebumps on that one. I haven’t seen that yet. That’s neat. I’ve seen all sorts of different things, but I haven’t seen that one. I’ve seen people that haven’t had any human lives before where they’ve had other previous lives, but no humans and this is the first time they’ve been. Yeah.
And I get that. I’ve done that for so many years that people have had lifetimes on other planets. And it was really weird because I didn’t know anything about that. And I was getting all this information. And then I found Linda Bachman, who wrote a book. She’s this person who has regressed thousands of people back into previous lives and in between lives. And of those thousands, some hundreds would go back into lifetimes on other planets. And when I read that book and interviewed her on my show, it all became real to me that, yes, all this information I’ve been getting about people in past lives on other planets was true. Yeah. It’s fascinating. Because it was coming in such detail to me. I just said, But this is crazy. But I had to accept seeing and hearing and speaking the details of what I was getting from these lifetimes. They were very interesting, the different kinds of planets people were from, et cetera. It’s so much fun to do that. I do a lot of that. I’m doing that two nights from now. I’m actually in the neighborhood that’s historical, My Little Magic Shop. And they’ve asked me to come in and teach a class on past lives.
So I’ll be looking at the past lives of all the people who show up. And I just love to do that.
Oh, that sounds like so much fun. Well, thank you so much for joining us today. I really appreciate being on. I know I could talk to you for another hour if I could, but I really appreciate you, Peter.
Likewise. It’s so important, I think, that we know each other and can be there for each other. I’m so happy that I’m not done.
You’re done, my friend. Thank you, everyone, for joining us. Please make sure you like and subscribe. And if you’re interested in getting a chart reading a card reading or any other service from Peter, go check out the show notes or the description. And we can’t wait to see you soon. Take care.
Bye. Bye.
