Episode 186: Frequency Shift: The Key to Manifesting Your Dreams
Did you know that you’re an amazing manifester? Super amazing.
Everything you’ve experienced up to this point in your life—both the good and the bad—has been a result of your manifestation.
I understand that manifesting is often viewed in a positive light, as a way to bring the things that make you feel good into your life.
But the truth is, you also manifest the bad, the ugly, the unexplained, and the untalked-about—the negative experiences.
Now, let’s flip that on its head.
Every single experience, no matter how we perceive it, is an opportunity for growth.
When we start viewing manifestation from this perspective, we begin to understand that each experience is a chance to learn, evolve, and raise our frequency.
And in doing so, we naturally start to attract more of what we desire and less of what we don’t.
🙌 Understanding Manifestation and Frequency
So often, there’s a script, a voice, a frequency, or a narrative that the collective consciousness tends to play into.
In most people’s minds, the focus is often on what they don’t want.
But the universe doesn’t distinguish between not wanting or wanting something.
It simply hears your frequency, and your energy, and responds accordingly.
The universe doesn’t get into the specifics of whether it’s about what you want or don’t want—it just matches your energy like a frequency matchmaker.
When you begin to realize that your thoughts, words, deeds, and actions all carry a certain frequency, you’ll understand that if there’s something in your life you don’t want, it’s a signal to change your frequency.
It’s really that simple.
Now, you may find yourself thinking, I’ve tried not to focus on what I don’t want, or the things I feel I can’t have, or what I think I should be doing.
Despite trying, it can feel like you’re stuck in a loop.
🤞 Changing Your Frequency to Manifest Desires
Show up differently.
Give yourself permission to pretend you’re someone completely different and step into that version of yourself, even if just for a couple of minutes.
Think of a family member, a friend, or a coworker—someone you can imitate.
Most people, when asked to do this, usually pick out annoying traits or behaviors, things that might bother them or that they find amusing.
But here’s the truth: those traits that annoy you often act as mirrors, reflecting things your conscience is nudging you to work on.
Instead, choose someone you admire—the way they present themselves, how they talk, think, act, and interact with the world.
Pretend to be that person for just a minute or two.
Imagine how they would show up if they were trying to manifest the same things you’re trying to bring into your life.
What would they say?
How would they act?
What steps would they take to raise their frequency and match the vibration of what they want to manifest?
Once you’ve imagined yourself thinking and acting like that person you admire, give yourself permission to carry that mindset throughout the day.
Now, here’s the key: I’m not saying to continue pretending to be them.
Instead, use them as inspiration for how you will show up—especially when nerves kick in, fear creeps up, or when old patterns resurface, leading you to say negative things like I can’t, I won’t, or it’s impossible.
In those moments, pause, catch yourself, and ask, What would the person I’m inspired by do?
How would they reframe this situation?
Reframing is essential.
You might catch yourself doing something that goes against the very thing you want to achieve.
When that happens, how you choose to react is completely in your control.
You can react negatively, thinking, oh no, here we go again, or you can acknowledge it and say, okay, I’m doing it.
🔁 Reframing Negative Thoughts and Behaviors
When you give yourself permission to reframe, think about how you want to shift your perspective in ways that serve your highest good.
How can you make this reframe an inspiration, a tool to help you shift out of your current frequency?
Mastering your frequency is key to mastering your life.
Now, life isn’t something to be mastered in a rigid sense, but by mastering your energy, you hold the keys to the doors you’re meant to walk through.
The more curious you get about yourself, the more brutally honest you are with how you’re showing up—or not showing up—the more you’ll realize that you’re the driver of your life.
You have the ability to change course, to do what you are meant to do.
But this requires drastic, radical change, along with radical honesty.
You need to be inspired to take action—real, tangible action.
The keyword here is action.
You can be fully aware of a behavior that doesn’t serve you, but awareness alone won’t create change.
Or, you can be aware and start taking steps, no matter how small.
Even tiny, incremental steps lead to progress and shift your energy toward what you want to achieve.
💪 Overcoming Fear and Physical Challenges
I’ve struggled with nerve issues for a very long time and for many years,
I was absolutely terrified to work out.
Every time I did, it would lead to massive flare-ups, and that fear of my own body became overwhelming.
The fear of injury, of not being strong enough, was constantly on my mind.
When I was pregnant, this fear became even more significant.
I worried I wouldn’t be strong enough to hold my baby after my daughter was born.
I realized I had to do something about it.
I had to face the thoughts that were holding me back and make peace with the reality of where my physical body was.
It wasn’t just physical work that needed to be done—it was emotional work, too.
Healing my physical body started with healing my mindset, and I’ll be honest, it didn’t happen overnight.
It took daily choices, small shifts in my frequency, and a commitment to change my relationship with myself.
My thoughts, words, and actions needed to align with the health and vibrancy I wanted to embody.
✨ Consistent Actions for Lasting Transformation
Even if it feels like your progress isn’t fast enough, remember that consistency is key.
If you keep at it—consistently shifting your frequency, changing your words, and remapping your mind—you will make changes.
But it takes time.
Those ingrained thoughts or beliefs didn’t appear overnight, and they won’t disappear overnight either.
Some challenges you’re facing might have been around for years, decades, or even lifetimes.
You have the capacity to create the changes necessary to manifest the life you truly want.
It starts with one breath at a time and requires constant redirection.
And I want to emphasize constant redirection.
Some behaviors or beliefs are so deeply ingrained in our ancestral or personal belief systems that they become invisible to us.
It’s okay if you need to redirect yourself frequently because eventually, it will become natural.
You deserve these changes.
You deserve to align with the frequencies you seek.
But to meet those frequencies, you first have to raise your own.
🌈 Your Journey Forward
As you reflect on your journey, consider this, what will you choose moving forward?
What small, daily changes can you implement as habits and practices to manifest the life you truly desire?

Hey, Amy Robeson here. Thank you for joining me on this podcast where we talk about spirituality, the awakening process, mental health, and so much more. Join me weekly to get your weekly dose of spirituality and medicine. I look forward to seeing you on the inside. Hello, and welcome to today’s episode. I’m so excited. You are here. Did you know you are an amazing manifester? Super amazing. Where you’ve gotten your life up to today, you have manifested into reality, the good, the bad, and the indifferent. I know that oftentimes people don’t like talking about manifesting in a negative way because you want to manifest all those amazing things, those things that make you feel good. But you also manifest the bad, the ugly, the unexplained, the untalked about, the negative experiences. And I want to flip it on its head today because all experiences are opportunities for you to grow. And when we look at manifesting from that perspective that every experience that you experience is an opportunity for you to grow, we can actually celebrate that and we can raise our frequency and allow ourselves to attract more of what we want in our life versus less of what we don’t want in our life.
And so often there’s this script, this saying, this voice, this frequency, or this narrative that the collective consciousness normally plays into. And this is what happens in most people’s brains they focus on the things they don’t want. The universe has no objection to hearing, I don’t want or I want. All it hears is, This is my frequency. This is my energy. Please match my energy to this frequency. Because the universe doesn’t delve into it, I don’t and I want to. It’s an exchange. It’s matter-of-fact energy. It’s a matchmaker of frequency. And so when you start to recognize that your thoughts, your words, your deeds, your actions all hold a certain frequency. And if there is something you do not want in your life, you have to change your frequency. It’s really that simple. But I know you’re probably thinking like, Amy, I try. I try not to I try not to say, I don’t want this, or I can’t have that, or I should do this. I try not to do any of that, but I can’t get out of it. I can’t get out of that loop. Here’s the suggestion that I have for you.
Show up differently. Give yourself permission to pretend like you are someone completely different, and show up like that person. I know you have a family member a friend or a coworker that you can pretend to be for just a couple of minutes. Usually, you’ll pick someone. This is what most people do, is they usually can pick out the annoying things that that person does, just because it might be funny or it annoys you. But oftentimes, these are mirrors for us. These people that annoy us, these people, these characteristics, these behaviors that get under our skin are things that our conscience is telling us that we have to work on. And so pick someone that you actually really admire the way that they present themselves, the way that they talk, the way that they think, the way that they act, the way that they interact. And just pretend for just one minute or two minutes, how that person would show up if they wanted to manifest the things that you want to manifest? What would they say? How would they act? What would they be doing that would assist them in raising their frequency to match that vibration?
And then once you pretend to think or to just put yourself in that person’s shoes that you admire, then give yourself permission to show up like that throughout the day. Now, here’s the thing. I said show up like that. I didn’t say pretend to continue, pretend to be like them. But you can use that person as inspiration on how you will show up when you’re getting nervous, when you’re getting scared, when the old patterns show up and you’re all of a sudden saying negative things about yourself, or you’re using words like, I can’t and I won’t, and it’s impossible. Whatever the case is, stop, pause, catch yourself, and then ask yourself, what would the person that I’m inspired by do? And how would they reframe this? Because reframing is key. You can catch yourself in an act of doing something that goes against the very thing that you want to do. How you choose to react to that catch is totally up to you. You can catch yourself and react in a negative way where you’re just going, oh, my God, this again. Or You can go, Oh, I’m doing it. Okay, let me reframe this.
And when you give yourself permission to reframe this, how and in what ways do you want to reframe it so that it serves your highest good, that it serves as an inspiration, that it assists you in shifting out of your frequency? Master your frequency, you master your life. Not that life is meant to be mastered, but you will hold the keys to the doors that you are aligned to walk through by mastering your energy. The more that you get curious about yourself, the more brutally honest you are with yourself on ways that you are showing up, and ways that you are not showing up, and the more that you will recognize that you are the driver. You are capable of changing the course. You are capable of doing the things that you are meant to do. But you have to be inspired to take drastic radical change, have drastic, radical honesty with yourself, and do something about it. Keyword, do something about it, because you can be very aware of a behavior that doesn’t serve you and not not do anything about it, or you can be aware of a behavior that doesn’t serve you and start doing something about it, even if it’s tiny, tiny, little, tiny, tiny baby steps.
I have had nerve issues for a very long time, and for me, scared, terrified, like super terrified to work out for many years because anytime I would work out, I would in massive flare-ups. So very, very scared of my own body, very, very scared of the repercussions that if I work out, this is what’s going to happen. And that’s really nerve-wracking. And so I’ve had to find ways of being really honest with myself of, Hey, I’m actually scared of my own body. I’m scared of injury. I’m scared of not being strong enough. This was a really big for me when I was pregnant, not being strong enough to hold my baby after my daughter was born. And I had to do something about it. I had to make peace with the thoughts that were crippling me. I had to make peace with this was where my physical body was at, and I had to do the emotional work to heal my physical body in order to make changes. And it didn’t happen overnight. I’m going to tell you that right now. It did not happen overnight. It happened with daily choices to make changes and to have a shift in my frequency and a shift in my relationship with myself, my words, my deeds, my thoughts, and my actions so that they could match the vibrancy of health and vibrancy in which I was seeking, in which I was wanting to embody.
And so even if you feel like your progress is not good enough if you keep at it and you keep at it and you are consistent with changing the frequency, changing your words, changing, and remapping your mind, you will make changes. It just takes time. Because remember, that ingrained thought or that ingrained belief didn’t happen overnight. It totally did not happen overnight. You could be dealing with a problem that was maybe years old, decades old, or lifetimes old. You have the space and the capacity to create the changes that are necessary for you to manifest the life that you truly want. It takes one breath at a time, and it takes constant redirecting. And I’m going to underline constantly here. Constant redirecting, because sometimes we might have a behavior that’s so ingrained into our ancestral belief system that we are so blinded to it. And so it will take constant redirecting until it becomes natural. And it is okay if it is constant because it will eventually become natural. And you deserve to have those changes. You deserve to be met with the frequencies which you seek to have in your life. You have to raise your frequency in order to meet it, though.
And you are capable of doing that, my friend. What are you going to choose to do moving forward? And what small changes are you going to choose to make as daily habits and practices so that you can manifest the life that you truly want? Is there a friend that needs to hear this message today?
