‘EMBRACING YOUR SPIRITUAL PATH’
FOLLOWING YOUR OWN ENERGY WITHOUT COMPARISON
I’m being guided to talk about embracing your unique spiritual path.
Where you’re at on your own spiritual path is beautiful AND magnificent.
It does not matter if you’re just beginning or if you’ve been on this path a very long time. What matters is that you’re on the path!
You’re on your unique spiritual path…No one else’s spiritual paths!
Let’s define your spiritual path.
- Your spiritual path is your path and your path alone to take.
- Will others show up on that path? Absolutely,…Me talking with you right now is me showing up on your spiritual path.
- It’s important to understand it’s your path and no one else’s path. What that means is you have the decisions and the choices to make each and every day to be on the path that you want to be on and……not compare your spiritual path and journey to anyone else’s path.
Importance of Taking Action on Spiritual Guidance
We all have things that come into our lives for a reason, making us feel more guided or inspired to take some form of action because of it.
It’s so crucial to take action on it.
I know for me, when I was first starting my true big, gigantic awakening, which we have many awakenings, but my first big awakening.
I was guided to do hot yoga.
If I wouldn’t have decided to listen to that, I don’t know where I necessarily would be. I might have taken the long way around, or I might not be here at all today.
Every decision you make along your spiritual path has a ripple effect into your reality.
Consistency in Spiritual Practice
Sometimes we are guided to do certain spiritual practices or lead a certain way of life as part of our spiritual journey.
We may become fearful of taking those actions for whatever reason, OR we may begin to compare our spiritual practices with others.
I see this a lot!
We’ll be starting on a spiritual journey and then…
… start comparing it to someone else’s that has been on their journey for a very, very, very, very long time.
What happens then?
Feelings of being inadequate or unworthy may slide in.
I’m here to tell you that with spirituality, what’s most important is having a consistent practice.
That be meditating, walking, doing whatever it is that you consider a spiritual practice, doing it consistently without a break is so crucial.
Now, there’s going to be moments in your life where you’re like…
…Oh, I’m just disenchanted with these practices. I don’t want to do them.
Maybe because you’re bored. And when you’re bored, you’re going to want to ask yourself…
…What is my soul wanting to CREATE on my spiritual path so that you can still be excited to be on it?
Once you’re on the path, it’s very hard to unsee and unknow the truth of the spiritual path, you see the truth and you might get disenchanted.
So let me say, we’re all meant to be creative in this lifetime, YOU are a creator…and what your soul is craving is creativity!
- So what are you trying to create in your life that will allow you to bring that joy, that zest, that vitality that your soul is craving?
- Whatever it is that you’re meant to be creating through your spiritual practices is greatly unique to you, your spiritual journey, and your spiritual path!
Evolving Spiritual Practices
Your spiritual practices will evolve along your spiritual path.
You’re going to be guided to do certain things that your soul, your higher self, your heart is guiding you to participate in, to explore, to deepen your knowledge in.
The main thing is following the energy that presents itself to you.
I know for me, I wouldn’t be here talking with you if I wouldn’t have done that.
And on my path, any time that I would get a yes to do something,..
…I would totally do it.
If I got a no, I would totally listen to that.
Sometimes I would do a yes, even though I got a no, and then I find out the lesson later why I shouldn’t have done it to begin with.
And so it’s really important not to override your yes or no, but to trust that yes or no.
People’s Role on Your Spiritual Path
The other thing about being on a spiritual path and following through on living a spiritual life is you’ll want to notice who’s coming onto your path, and why they’re there.
It might not be easy to understand right away, but everyone comes onto our path for some certain reason.
- Some people are meant to stay on our paths the rest of our lives.
- Some people are meant to come into our paths for a long period of time.
- Some people are meant to come into our life for a very short period of time, and we have to be okay with that
We also outgrow people.
It’s the flip side of the coin. It’s just not us always outgrowing people. People also outgrow us if we’re not willing to do our work.
We’re always being taken care of.
The thing about making peace with when people come onto your path and then they disappear or they leave is to know that when you’re on this path, you’re always taken care of.
“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”
When someone exits the path or when you’re being guided to leave them on your path, you are always going to have companionship that comes to you in divine timing.
What I mean by that is…
… when we have someone leave our path, we make space for others to come back onto our path or come new to our path when we are ready.
This is the same thing when it comes to even friends or colleagues.
When someone is supposed to be on our path that is meant to teach us something in some way, shape, or form,
OR we’re meant to teach them something in some way, shape, or form, you will appear and they will appear on the path together.
That’s really such a beautiful thing when you think about it.
Trust and Courage on the Spiritual Path
Living a spiritual life and being on your spiritual path takes a lot of trust and a lot of courage.
There are people that are waking up right now that need to see what is possible.
When we are exploring the path, we start looking at what other people are doing.
And again, going back into comparing
Instead of comparing, be inspired by others’ spiritual paths.
- What are they doing that inspires me to be on my path in the most aligned way?
- What is it that I love about their practices or their path that I can incorporate into mine?
- And can I allow it to be unique to me, to unique to my experience?
You don’t have to make it the same way as someone else’s. You’ll never be able to do that because you’re unique and you already have a unique set of experiences.
Someone might have similar experiences, but they’ll never have the exact same experiences as you.
Never, ever, ever, ever.
Even though their experiences may be similar, sometimes we actually meet people that have completely polar opposite experiences as us,.
We’re meant to be on those paths together because they inspire us.
Researching and Meeting People on Your Path
I always am curious about when I’m being guided to research or study something.
I’m a researcher. I love researching things.
I don’t know why I’m researching it or why I’m being inspired to research it.
I just follow the energy that’s presenting itself to me.
And then I will usually have someone come onto my path where I’m just like, ‘you are the exact person why I was researching what I was researching’.
- I watched an entire Netflix series that I got really into.
- I had a student of mine come into Sacred Awakening that shared their story.
- And when I was watching this series, I’m like, This is…
- …that student! This is why!
- I then had a different level of understanding and compassion!
- I was able to see through a different lens because I had that experience watching Netflix when this person came onto my path.
And it was just so beautiful!
Know that sometimes when you are researching things
or when you come across something where you might not know why it’s coming into your path or into your awareness
or why you’re interested in something,
It could be that…
…someone is about to enter your path that gives you some different understanding or knowledge or compassion for when they come into your life.
You did some research or did some studying beforehand that allowed you to have a better understanding of who they are as well.
And it’s really cool when that happens.
One last thing…
You have choices along your spiritual path.
Those choices are going to lead you to the next thing,
and that those choices will lead you to the next thing.
Stop worrying about the big picture how.
Give yourself permission to just be led by God, by the universe, by divinity.
When you are led by divinity, doors open up gracefully without you having to push your way or bombard your way or blow your way through.
They will open up like an automatic door for you when you are following the energy that’s presenting itself to you.
That is sometimes so hard for people to wrap their head around because they’re used to fighting against the current.
You can float down the river and not fight against the current if you don’t have to.
You follow the energy that presents itself to you while you’re living your spiritual life, while you’re on your spiritual path, and you deserve that.

I’m being guided. I’m going to try to talk about where you’re at on your spiritual path. Where you’re at on your spiritual path is beautiful. It’s magnificent. And so what are you trying to create in your life that will allow you to bring that joy, that zest, that vitality that your soul is craving? And that is through creation and whatever it is that you’re meant to be creating through your spiritual practices is great. And when I say spiritual practices without break, that doesn’t mean that you have to do the same spiritual practice without a break the rest of your life.
No. Your spiritual practices will evolve along your path. You’re going to be guided to do certain things along your path that your soul, your higher self, your heart is guiding you to participate in, to explore, to deepen your knowledge in.
