  • It's important to recognize that everyone's stories and experiences are different and that just because you don’t remember everything doesn't mean it didn't happen.
  • Take small bite-sized pieces to remember and process the trauma, just like slowly tearing off the wrapping paper of a present. This allows will allow the nervous system and inner child to feel safe and not overwhelmed.
  • Focus on your own healing journey and not compare yourself to others.
  • Include your inner child in daily activities and decision-making. This will help your inner child feel safe and comfortable and allow her/him to uncover some of the trauma she/he may have discarded and pushed down.
  • Practice reparenting, which involves parenting yourself in a way that allows all aspects of yourself to feel safe. This will help you feel more confident in your decisions and recognize when someone doesn't deserve a part of your life.
  • It's okay to put people on pause or cut them out if they're not treating her the way she deserves to be treated. Not every relationship is meant to be forever.

Hello, everyone, and welcome to our first-ever Akashic Record group reading for the Awakening with Amy Robeson podcast. I'm so excited you guys are here because this is a group reading. Any information that I share with our participants that resonates with you. So any little piece, so it could be just 1% or just one sentence, or it could be like the whole thing is shared with one person, or little tiny bread crumbs from each person. If it resonates with you, that is also for you because we're doing this in a group setting. And if you're not familiar with what the Akashic Records are, the Akashic Records are a field of infinite possibilities. Every word, deed, and thought from the moment your soul is incepted is recorded in the Akash. Amy:
Hi, Mary. How are you?

Mary:
Hi.

Amy:
Welcome. Super excited. What question would you like to ask in the records today?

Mary:
Am I on the right path?

Amy:
So that is a yes or no question. So let's rephrase that. We want to ask open-ended questions because the answer could be no, that's not really what you're looking for. What you're looking for is something with substance. So what are you truly desiring to know?

Mary:
I want to know what I can do to be more open to receiving.

Amy:
More open to receiving? So the second you said that I instantly saw this beautiful flower crown go around your head. And what that's telling me is they're saying it's so important for you to spend more time out in nature because nature is the best medicine for your soul. And they're saying that you're really connected with the Faerie and Angelic realm as well. And the more that you connect in with nature and bring those flower elements in, the Faeries will also start speaking with you more. Not everybody is connected with the Faerie realm. Not everybody is connected with the Angelic realm, but you're super connected. And so actually playing outside or making a little Faerie garden will bring you more connection with your guides. And also, there's this really deep sense of peace that will come with it just by playing with certain nature elements. For example, creating a little flower garden or something like that. I know before we hit record, you said you're about getting ready to move. So in that new space, make time to have a sanctuary that you can have even an inside and outside nature alter. And a nature alter is just where you have nature elements on it. So if you see the video behind me, I have lots of plants and things like that. I constantly am bringing plants into my house just so I can have nature around me. So when I can't go outside, it feels better. And they're saying by having that, it's going to be really, really helpful.

Mary:
That's crazy because I've always I have a little mini fairy garden in one of my planters, but I always wanted to make a bigger one outside. And I'm like, everything you said is just hit on the nail.

Amy:
Oh, good. And they're saying there's three particular colors that I'm seeing, which are orange, yellows, and pink. And those particular color combinations will be really, really helpful. And even painting some rocks with those colors, just outside rocks and having them in your little fairy garden, having a little stone path and things like that would be really, really helpful as well. And then the next piece they're saying to be more open is to express your feelings when you're feeling them. And what that means is don't shove them down, don't bypass them, don't overlook them, don't pretend like they're not there. And so you said you're in a big mood right now just expressing, I'm really stressed out. There's a lot of stuff that has to get done. And by saying like, hey, I know that I'm stressed right now. You give yourself permission to just exhale. And they're saying, for you, that acknowledgment of the feeling will actually release the tension in the body, especially in the lower back.

Mary:
Wow. Yeah, I've never been feeling that. I'm also in college right now, so my life is just a big stress ball.

Amy:
Yeah. Do you have any other questions at all?

Mary:
No, ma'am.

Amy:
Awesome. Well, thank you so much for sharing. I appreciate it. Thank you. All right, beautiful souls. Go ahead and ask your question, my dear.

Leah:
I would like to know how to heal from childhood trauma because I don't really remember everything that happened. I just know that it's really heavy for me.

Amy:
Yeah. So first off, I love that you're brave enough to ask this question because childhood trauma, we can go into disassociation mode when we don't remember everything. So even if you feel like something has happened to you, but you don't remember, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Also, just because something may not have affected a different sibling the way that it affects other people, that doesn't discount how you feel or what has happened to you. And so it's really important what they're saying is it's important for you to recognize that everybody else's stories and noise have nothing to do with you. And they're showing me, like, you know, when you take a present, and you start to rip off the wrapping paper, that sound, they're saying it's time to start ripping just the layers off from childhood, but it's as thin as wrapping paper. And what they're meaning by that is it allows your nervous system and your inner child to go, oh, we're just doing a small little section at a time. It doesn't have to be this I have to go all the way to the core wound and start there. It's just going I remember this one time I was upset when I was a kid. What was that feeling? And so it feels a little bit more safe taking it into those little bite-sized pieces. How does that feel to you?

Leah:
Definitely what I've been doing and focusing on. So it's not overwhelming, for sure.

Amy:
Yeah. And then go ahead.

Leah:
The whole sibling thing is very accurate, too, when you first begin with that. And I've just been trying different modalities of whatever feels right in the moment to peel back that trauma. And I do remember certain things that have happened where I just felt alone, and I didn't tell anybody my feelings. And then I just stopped telling people things, and I didn't know how to feel after that.

Amy:
Do you remember what age you started doing that?

Leah:
It's hard to say. I would say as young as four. Okay. Honestly, maybe younger. Since I can remember, a lot of the time, I just didn't feel safe to speak up.

Amy:
Yeah. So one of the things that you can do is imagine your four-year-old self, and she's going to go to work with you, and she's going to bake with you, and she's going to make food with you, and she's going to go to the grocery store with you. And every day for the next two to three weeks, you're going to tell her she's safe and that if there's something that you guys are doing and that she doesn't like, she gets to express that. And it's safe for her to express it because you're going to love her no matter what. And then the next part is really, really important. But include her in some decisions throughout your day. So it's like, you have this on, ask her what scarf she'd like to wear. Or if there's a drink that she wants to have, ask her what drink she'd like to have. And have her participate in those decisions because the more you get her getting comfortable with playing with you, the more you're going to uncover some of the trauma that was really, really discarded and pushed down. And they're using the word discard it. It's almost as if she's like, That didn't matter. Nobody cared anyways. And going back to the sibling thing, each sibling had a different parent when they were born. And your parents are at different stages throughout their lifetime and different stresses. And how you felt might not be the same way as how your sibling felt. And that is perfectly okay. And you're looking at our child knowing that's going to be really, really, really helpful. Yeah. Question?

Leah:
No, I'm just trying not to get emotional.

Amy:
It's okay to get emotional. Tears release the emotions that are buried in the cells. And I think that the more you start loving on your inner child, and this is what I call reparenting. We do a lot of this work inside of sacred awakening in the Akashic Records. This reparenting piece is really helpful because you're parenting yourself in a way that allows not only your inner child but all the different aspects of yourself to feel safe in a completely different way.

Leah:
Yeah, absolutely. That is very accurate. The whole discarded part. As I've peeled back the layers, I just remember being confused all the time. I was like, What am I doing wrong? I just I didn't understand. So yeah, absolutely. I love when my inner child comes out, and I feel a lot safer now where I am, who I'm around. And I could recognize when someone doesn't deserve that part of me. If they're not honoring me the way they should. Maybe saying the right things, but making me feel uncomfortable. And I've had trouble with family. It keeps reoccurring. And I always felt different. So it's definitely...

Amy:
There's an episode that I highly recommend where it's putting people on pause. I'd recommend revisiting that episode if you haven't listened to it, where you can put family members or friends or people that we love on pause just to help with separating and understanding how you truly feel in the relationship. And it's okay if you start creating those boundaries.

Leah:
Okay, absolutely.

Amy:
Yeah. And then just one more thing, that whole wrapping paper thing I was talking about, you're four years old, so you can imagine that there's this emotional Christmas tree and that each little box has a particular emotion that you and your inner child are going to look at. And she gets to peel back the paper on it to see what emotion it is. And so it's a fun game, but it's also really deep inner work that you can do with your inner child to make it a little more playful for her to look at it, too, with you.

Leah:
Yeah. Because I have an extremely hard time making decisions. I'm always completely sure one day, and it's big life decisions where I can't rely on my family members to give me a good answer. Not any friends, nobody, just me. And that's really hard because then if I decide to take somebody out of my life, then I could be alone because I have to make a big choice. And that I was going to maybe ask you that, but just the indecisiveness and not trusting myself and wondering, am I doing the right thing? I'm always just being....

Amy:
The more you start reassuring her, the more you're going to start feeling more confident in your decisions. So it starts with her. It starts with your inner child and really allowing her to feel safe because then that will have the ripple effect in your life and decisions. And just so you know, if there's people in your life that are not treating you the way that you are meant to be treated, it's okay to put them on pause, or it's okay to cut them out.

Leah:
Yeah. Absolutely.

Amy:
There's people that come and go throughout our life for a particular reason, and not every relationship is meant to be forever.

Leah:
That's exactly what I'm going through right now.

Amy:
Yeah. Just remind yourself you're okay. Wonderful. Thank you so much.

Leah:

Beautiful. Let me...hi, Neha.

Neha:
Hi.

Amy:
Hi. How are you?

Neha:
I'm good, thank you.

Amy:
Do you have a question ready?

Neha:
Yes.

Amy
What's your question, my dear?

Neha:
Messages from my spirit guide.

Amy:
Please be more specific.

Neha:
Okay. My life purpose.

Amy:
What do you really want them to ask?

Neha:
How can I heal the deeper layers? They keep coming and coming and coming. Is there something specific that I need to heal that will just shift out that layer from childhood?

Amy:
The Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones have me pick you up for a reason. This is part of it. They're wanting you to get more direct on what you're wanting, what you're wanting to desire, what you're wanting to have. Because you have the opportunity to hop on here, and you could ask any question, and you immediately went to, "whatever you want to tell me." No, there's something very specific you want to ask. And they're saying that by asserting your energy more in a way that allows you to say, "no, this is what I want." It allows you to start taking responsibility of what path you are on and where you're going. It also gives you the courage to start looking at those scary things that you have been avoiding looking at for quite some time. And they're saying that your new word they're saying for the year is "I am assertive." Do you know what that feels like to be assertive?

Neha:
Oh, yes. That seems like my whole life plan.

Amy:
Yeah. But they're saying that there's assertive, meaning where you don't collapse when there's something scary for you to look at. Does that make sense?

Neha:
Yes.

Amy:
Okay. So when you usually... Let's say you have something that you're scared to look at from the past, what is your typical response to looking at it?

Neha:
Oh, my God. What is it doing here? What is this?

Amy:
Okay. So then when you're like, "Oh, my God. No, no, no, no," then what do you usually do?

Neha:
Right now, I'm still going into it, sitting with it and giving it the light.

Amy:
And giving it what?

Neha:
Giving it the light.

Amy:
Okay.

Neha:
Just letting it go.

Amy:
Okay. Do you ever actually just sit with it and feel what it is that you're looking at?

Neha:
Yes.

Amy:
Instead of just handing it over to light right away?

Neha:
Yes. I just start crying.

Amy:
That's good. And how long do you let yourself be in those emotions, or do you try to move them quickly?

Neha:
Early, I used to move it, tried to move it quickly. Now I just surrender.

Amy:
Okay, perfect. There's a piece that's missing in that, though, and that's that being assertive. So they're saying that instead of going, "Oh my God. Why is this coming up? Why is this here?" It's a, "Oh, you're here. Let's take a look." And so there's this different energy that happens where it's like, I'm going to need it where it's at, and I'm not going to judge myself for having it come up at this moment in time. Because for you, that judgment makes you collapse versus still being very assertive where you're able to really be in a place of power and position of power to get curious. And that judgment piece will shift off when you're in that assertive position. Helpful?

Neha:
Helpful, yes.

Amy:
Questions about it?

Neha:
No.

Amy:
No? Anything else?

Neha:
No, thank you.

Amy:
Awesome. Well, thank you.

Neha:
Thank you.

Amy:

Cindy:
Thank you.

Amy:
No problem. What questions do you have?

Cindy:
Well, I've had a lot of changes, positive and negative, throughout my life, and I'm curious about my future, what I should do for work. I have a job that I enjoy now and that I think I have a lot of opportunity with. And is this one that's correct to ask, I guess, if I'm going in the right direction and maybe what I can use to increase my ability to perform better, I guess.

Amy:
Okay. So you're wanting to know if you're going in the right direction, but you have a career right now that you are in.

Cindy:
Yes.

Amy:
And are you wanting to leave that career?

Cindy:
No. I just want to know if I'm maybe... I've done different things over the years. The last few years, I've been doing different types of health insurance and different things like that and just see if I may be in the right fit, if I have all the tools that I need to do, or if I should do something else. Just try to figure out why it's more about future than past.

Amy:
Yeah, no, that's perfect. Here's the thing. So oftentimes, people define purpose as job, and it's not. And they're wanting to just share with you; it's like how you make money is great. The way that you're bringing money into your household right now is perfect. And what they're wanting you to put more focus on is what purpose you have outside of work because there's lots of purposes we have throughout our lifetime, and it doesn't have to do with how we bring money in.

Cindy:
Right. Yes.

Amy:
So what they're wanting to focus on is what really brings you joy. And there's different activities, and they're calling them hobbies is what they're referring to. It's like there's different hobbies that you can be doing that allow you to be fulfilling a purpose of joy right now because they're wanting you to really embody joy. That's what this chapter is right here is perfect. Joy. And so, what are hobbies that bring you joy? And one of the things that I see you doing, and I'm not sure if this is something that you're already doing, is playing in the dirt. I don't know if you garden or if you have house plants, but I see you playing in the dirt.

Cindy:
Both of the above.

Amy:
Perfect.

Cindy:
Yeah, I do. I really enjoy it. In the summertime, where I live. It snows here, but I have plants all over, so yeah, I do enjoy that.

Amy:
Okay, perfect. They're saying having your hands in dirt, that instantly reconnects you to your inner world because you're touching one, the element of Earth. But also, when you're touching the roots and things like that of the plants, it's rooting you back into you. And so, taking the time this spring to re-pot a lot of your plants will be really helpful in bringing that piece back in. And when you're replanting them, or when you go outside to go start planting things, and you start playing in the dirt, notice what your thoughts are. Notice if you have a-ha's, notice if you have this like, "oh, why am I thinking about that?" Because some of those thoughts are going to lead you to new activities that you're meant to be doing right now that are going to bring you joy. But it starts with the soil.

Cindy:
Okay. Thank you. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Amy:
Yeah. And so they're saying, don't worry about work, work's good. You don't need to change careers. That would actually cause a lot more stress for you than anything. And it's more about defining what joy is and what activities. And they're calling them hobbies. What hobbies? Because they want to make this clear distinction for you that it's not a job.

Cindy:
Okay.

Amy:
Because you don't need another job.

Cindy:
No. Okay. Thank you.

Amy:
Yeah. So having that... And then where do you live?

Cindy:
I live in Nebraska.

Amy:
Okay. So sit down and decide when you're going to start. Right now, what you can do is start mapping out what you want to do outside for planting and being in the Earth before it starts to get warm. You have a little bit of time before you start doing those things. And they're saying that also, even if it's cold outside, you can still be planning things that help you to get back in connection with the Earth as well.

Cindy:
Yeah, thank you. I put so much into work and so much into family, and I have thought I am getting to a point where I need to start having some hobbies, things that I just simply enjoy. And that is what I was sitting here when you were saying that before you even brought up the dirt; I was thinking gardening. That's the one thing I really enjoy. So you nailed it.

Amy:
Even seeing you even sketching out some sketches for your garden to get your brain flowing on what you want to do and researching some plants. And even you can even do, I don't know if you're on Facebook or not, but there's tons of plant garden Facebook groups that you can join to get some inspiration and some ideas going. And that allows you to still be in the hobby when you can't be outside in the hobby when it's cold outside, too.

Cindy:
Right. Thank you very much.

Amy:
You're so welcome, my dear.

Cindy:
I really appreciate it. It creates some balance.

Amy:
It does, and that Earth element wants to really support you right now.
